Huge congrats to the ETS team and everyone involved. Not only is this GTR insanely fast but the driver (lucas english) is just an absolute animal for piloting this beast down the track.

you would be wrong. Lucas is the Owner is English Racing. ETS is a separate company. They work together on a lot of builds as they are only a few miles from each other.

GTR is rear biased anyway. They have more traction in the back (obvious from the tires) than in the front.

That was one hell of a save but of course track conditions were to blame for that. But 222mph in 6.88 seconds is fast as shit! I will always give props to the GT-R for its crazy acceleration.

On a side note. I'm still waiting for all the TT Lambos and other GTRs to put chutes on. Still don't get why some half mile events don't require them. Prime example here. Having the best brakes in the world wont help the save like a chute can. Great save sir. Great save and epic finish.

lambo's concentrating on two things first 260-270mph in the half mile and then the full mile rumours are jumping everywhere about lambo's going after 300mph+ in the mile so yeah only OB prestige is gunning for a 1/4 mile lambo right now and i haven't heard much from them so yeah don't think we will see many 1/4 mile lambo's ever

This is a stock chassis full factory drivetrain car that Corvette is a modified chassis and modified drivetrain.
When in doubt , Weiner out. Very scary he corrected so many times to keep from crashing on his first fast run. It’s amazing he came back faster after the scare, it would’ve put a lot of guys in doubt.

Hah, never going to happen. There's as much of a difference between 6.88 and 5.99 as there is between a 9 second car and a 15second one. Every little bit you go faster, gets exponentially harder to go faster.
Mean Man a rear wheel drive GTR could easily get their, but they want to keep it AWD
If you were to make it full blown RWD with possibly a solid axle and a TH400 or powerglide, it would probably run 5s, but the point is also to keep the car AWD and keep the DCT
