Great review! I don't own MILLÈSIME IMPÈRIAL, but I bought GREEN IRISH TWEED at Bergdorf Goodman's in NYC. Wow, what an experience. I was just floored and frankly overwhelmed by the whole experience (being a construction worker and the store near my jobsite). Green Irish Tweed is of superb quality. Just so well blended, all natural ingredients, a truly high quality product and in my mind yes expensive as hell but well worth the money. This led me to believe ALL Creed products were this good but beside GIT all I heard about was Aventus (of which I have not tried but I have one of the clones (I believe Club de Nuit Intense Man) which is decent. It's good to know that not all of Creeds colognes are of as high quality as some of the others and for the amount they charge is worth testing before buying. Thanks again!
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I would also test out Green Irish Tweed. Just a beautifully blended, obviously all natural stunning fragrance. Miles above Cool Water or any other clones. The smell in my mind is like that of the light passing through an Emerald. Masculine and classy.
Agree with everything here. Fragrance is pleasant, very soft. Best in hot weather, but gone in a couple hours. I get that fresh, spray starched laundry vibe as well.
I did try Millie at a Creed Boutique in the UK...loved the scent profile but it was fleeting on my skin, I just couldn't justify paying the full retail price....eventually went for Milestone and so pleased I did
I personally prefer milestone for the beautiful watermelon note, i have never went through 50% of a bottle in a season like i did with milestone, not only did i get a compliment, a guy walked up to me pulled his phone out and said please give me the name of your fragrance bought it in front of me
It’s definitely not the typical fougere or power house but it was nice to change it up, I like the high quality scent it has just wished it lasted longer
This seems like a good time to ask, how do you feel about clone fragrances? I'll be honest, im never going to own anything from Creed, Tom Ford etc, though there are now lots of well-regarded clones of all of them.
I think clones are a great thing, I don’t talk about them often since I don’t have many in my collection because a lot of what I wear has not been cloned. But some clones are better / closer than others obviously but I like how it provides access to the feel / similar / almost exact scent for someone who does not have access to the real thing. I have a clone video coming out soon I just need to upload it, I talk about two clones of two discontinued scents and compare them to the real thing.
Really enjoy MI. Of my large selection, its managed to generate a disproportionate amount of compliments over the years. Will always have a bottle on reserve. 👍🏻
Good review. I had a 2021 batch, now I have a 2017 batch and a very small rest of 99 batch. All smell(ed) different. The 21 was a lot more fruity and musky. The 17 has more salt, iris, sea air. The 99 batch is a totally different beast. It's not a beast mode, never was, in those days beast mode was less a thing. It's a fresh summery fragrance, but the 99 batch has an animalic smell at the nozzle, probably from real ambergris. The fragrance itself does not smell animalic, but it lingers more beautifully all day long when it's warm. I never had watermelon as well, a bit melony from time to time. Watermelon smells a lot more "watery" to me.
Didnt know you liked Aventus. Please consider a review of Laventure by Al Haramain. Its called an "aventus clone" by the community, but its really its own thing. The citrus is really bright, but dries down into a foresty resinous scent thats very elegant and expensive smelling. I have a feeling you would like it for that very reason. Could be had for around 30 bucks.
I tried Creed Viking and Cuba Red at the mall this weekend. I wish Viking was less fruity and more spicy and stronger for the price. Cuba Red was basically Cigar by Remy Latour without the fruity notes and slightly soapy. Not bad. Cuba Red doesn't deserve the hate it gets on Fragrantica.
Glad to see you moved from Movado to breitling. Great move. Coming from the watchmaker standpoint breitling is going to serve you better. Again a great review and another wonderful fragrance. Sidenote, the image/picture looks a little faded out. Do you think your camera might be too close to the ring light?
Yeah I’m loving the new watch, had my eye on this style of chronomat for a while, and that could be the case for the lighting, I spent all day making a bunch of videos upload so I may not have noticed
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey well, you’re doing an amazing job! I’ve tried to review a few fragrances on my channel. One was a Vintage Halston 1-12 from the 1970s. I’m not as good at it as you are, but when it comes to wine and whiskey, I probably could make a whole channel devoted to that. Enjoy the watch!. You said that you were in sales? Jewelry sales? I am a Watchmaker located in Texas, and I also dabble in a few other businesses. would love to know what your career is. Also with the lighting. I think you may need to put the phone a little further behind the ring light. Your camera lens may be getting over exposed. Do a few test shots. Hopefully he’ll improve. Your videos are fantastic. Keep it up!
For me this is a great fragrance. It's subtle, but the quality speaks for itself! I really love the fruity notes and saltiness - that would be the highlight. The price though... waaaay too high given the below average performance.
The main knock I always heard about this one was the really bad performance, but I'm glad that's it's at least avg/normal. The only Creed that I really love is Royal Mayfair, but that's a very controversial one; some people get a moth ball/medicine vibe and really don't like it.
Ace of Spades is on par with Veuve. At that price point, I’m going vintage only. I was drinking some Piper Heidseck Rare this weekend and it’s well under ace of spades’s price point for a far superior champagne. Nothing to add Re: MI. It’s good, a bit dated and was priced well a decade+ ago.
I like the smell better when it's not on my skin. When I spray it on my skin, it becomes a bit too salty and just not for me. However on paper it smells like a royal fruit basket.
I know you disdain Cool Water, but Green Irish Tweed is such a timeless, classy, fresh lemon verbena scent, whereas Cool Water takes that and frankly ruins it by making it oceanic and overly synthetic. Pierre Bourdon, great creator of King Kouros, also made both of those; how he made such a beautiful fragrance like GIT then made a bargain bin at a dollar store version with Cool Water boggles the mind. Even a god can bleed, I suppose.
Yeah there's like a white pepper in there. Kinda weird. A few months after absolutely decimating my sample of GIT, when the weather was appropriate, I got a bottle of Armaf Tres Nuit. It's 95% there, the minor differences being with some lemon in the opening and lavender & violet in the heart. Just makes it a bit more fluffy and airy, but for about 25 bucks, those changes are more than okay by me.
Smells nice , But wayyyy far beyond over priced for what you got , which is a fragrance that doesnt last a couple of hours and only someone standing 3 inches away and on you face will smell.
It’s definitely not a power house 80’s fougere but it’s a high quality scent and great for summer and going out so I definitely appreciate and enjoy it
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey As far as I know it's a good clone. Just doesn't smell like much of anything. My experience with anything that has sea notes or melon in it...
Notification of SOSJ video = 👀🍿
Always appreciate the support bro!

100% I sampled this a week before I bought it, I like the scent a lot but like I mentioned it didn’t blow me away like aventus did

@@jerrymac4961 I had a sample a while back and I remember thinking it was infinitely better than cool water, I’ll get a bottle eventually
I've got the 125ml clone ARMAF CLUB DE NUIT MILESTONE. It's a perfect scent smells great.
Do you have the intense version of milestone?
Take it easyyyy

Great video and I enjoyed it and I like this fragrance and I give it a 8.5 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed night

Absolutely 💯 GOD BLESS 🙏

It's a great scent totally agree on the bottle. I think you would really enjoy Viking and BdP very masculine decent performers
I have BDP and really like it, Viking however I thought smelled like a bathroom potpourri and I was not a fan lol
Great review Kelan 👏👏👏

I need to explore GIT more in the future I know it’s high quality

For my favourite Creed, i'm definitely on your team. Creed Aventus just smells so good 👍
For people who don’t know u can only compare this to the light blue aquatic category. It’s pretty much the best smelling in it’s category
Vintage Aventus was the ish...that oakmoss and musk in the base, so good

I hop you can say the name of websites that we can buy rare nice fragrances
You can buy rare scents right off my Mercari page from my personal collection or if you want you can go to ebay as well, that’s where I get many

I should have made it a 10

I can buy 6 really good fragrances for the price of that.
