SMW is great. Himalaya is great. They do different things. I have both. Himalaya however is so fresh and clean that it’s incredibly addicting and can be utilized in all seasons. It’s complex and simple at the same time. But the most important aspect of it? It’s clean and fresh, and what’s really better than that day after day? Himalaya and Tabarome are probably the two fragrances from creed that can be worn day after day. And perhaps Bois Du Portugal
Green Irish Tweed is my favorite fragrance of all time. I think it's awesome that you bring up that Himalaya is like a cousin to it. I have tried Himalaya and the first thing I thought was "this reminds me if a summer version of G.I.T."
Hi there, mind if you can share your thoughts on Himalaya vs Aventus? I have aventus and im eyeing on himalaya but dont know how to compare since its my fav scent
They smell totally different. Every Creed that I have has a small Creed thing that most of them have in common I assume. But Himalaya is lighter than Aventus and is a fresher, more summer style fragrance IMO. It could almost be unisex in it's nature. It does smell really good But, I'd say I definitely prefer Aventus over it. As I'd stated before Green Irish Tweed is my personal favorite. But Aventus is my second favorite fragrance. Himalaya has a bit of Tweed in it but, not as masculine and it's not as green or woodsy. Neither of them smell anything like Aventus though. And Himalaya only lasts like 3hrs on me before it becomes a skin scent. I get 8 to 9 hours out of Tweed and 6 to 8hrs out of Aventus. Sorry for the long reply. Hope that helps! @@syedfirdaus9279
thank you! I love that you mention the creamy sandal wood right away. It is the main player. I think the ambergris is also prominent, I love that slightly marine smell in the background
I was able to sample/compare (albeit only on test strips) all of the Creeds that were available on a slow Tues at Nordstrom. Himalaya jumped out to me the most--just an energizing rush in the opening. Hard to describe--an aromatic blast of zesty, metallic citrus and, how do I describe it? Like stepping outside a ski chalet on top of a mountain and getting a blast of cold snowy wind? Also get a slight tinge of "wintergreen" with the citrus. It really does fit its name, Himalaya. Haha. Not sure why it is not more popular. If you were to layer it to strengthen its performance, would you go with Molecule 01 (IsoESuper) or 02 (Ambroxan)???
I really get the gun powder in this. I’m not sure if it’s because I know it’s supposed to be there or what. But I definitely THINK I smell it! Gunpowder and sandalwood…
Hello there, mind if you can share your thoughts on Himalaya vs Aventus? I have aventus and im eyeing on himalaya but dont know how to compare since its my fav scent
A lot of people described it as a " metallic " gun powder" scent the reason I hate this is because It reminds me of that flavor + sensation of eating a mint that has been in a coin bag... ppl also say that is what a stroke feels like = I dislike all " metallic " scents ....due to ppl describing it that way I hear metallic..... and I feel sick I feel a coin stuck in my throat type of discomfort a sinking pit feeling in my stomach so I never gave it a chance it is going to take a while for me to think of this as a Fresh and not "metallic" scent I do not understand why a "metal" type sensation is desired by some ppl
Nice review. However, I would expect from less popular frag. Reviewers to be less focused on note breakdown, and more on giving your own experience with wearing this or that scent. We’ve got very experienced and popular reviewers, who do review notes on top level. You could bring the alternative way of fragrance reviewing, not only notes and longevity. Thanks though
Agree there is a similarity in the dry down to AHSEE, perhaps it’s the musk. I also get a small similarity to light blue intense with the musky dry down.... however Himalaya is quality and not synthetic like the D&G Light Blue. An underrated Creed for sure. Very versatile.
You have clearly the gift to explain fragrances without paraphrasing the perfumer’s words. I mean it.
Totally agree that the comparisons between Himalaya and Silver Mountain Water are unfounded.
I just discovered you! I like how you describe fragrances--simple and straightforward.
Himalaya is a standout Creed for me too (alongside GIT and MI). Very versatile
I love GIT, MI is nice but just not for me :)
Best Creed fragance. Period!
Himalaya is just awesome, no match for me actually. I would take the Himalaya.
This is how all reviews should be done. Your style of explaining and reviewing is perfect as far as I'm concerned. Great job.
Agreed! Himalaya is my favorite Creed scent with Aventus second
SMW is great.

My favorite Creed and favorite fragrance overall!
Phenomenal insight about the appropriate use of Tonka here. And I couldn't agree more. Great analysis.
Himalaya, Aventus and Viking are my favorit Creed parfums!!
Love this scent . Just discovered it , and bought a 100 ml bottle . Great breakdown

@@syedfirdaus9279the difference is that Aventus is heavy and smoky/leather with pineapple notes and himalaya is more soapy, fresh, clean, woody.

I look forward to you trying Royal Oud, its the only one worth still buying.
I like Royal oud too
Hi, the most underrated Creed is definitely Royal Mayfair and it's a gem! I have Paco XS old tall format bottle, the one Himalaya was inspired by...

Himalaya smells better than SMW imo

Sold my 3.3 oz of Himalaya and purchased a 4 oz of SMW.

Ive heard the longevity is absolutely terrible with Himalaya.
İn my opinions its mix % 50 melisime imparyale and green İ t makes himayala
Is this similar to Chanel Allure edition blanche? Brilliant analysis in all your videos, thank you.
It is similar to allure homme sport eau extrême, i think it’s the niche version of AHSEE.

I dis agree...Himalaya is the better one
