Thank you so much Demy. Apologies for the delays I feel it’s been a struggle the first bit of the month, finally getting my flow back. I’ll get in touch asap!xx
Thank you so much! Mostly through research and reviews. I go onto the Facebook group for the supplier and see what people are saying about the fragrance and it's compatibility to the wax I use. Also I like to read the notes and see if it's in the range of scent profile I am looking for! Hope this helps :)
You’re videos have been beyond helpful to me! I have a few questions when you get a minute if that’s ok? 1) Do you think you’d consider doing a video on safety/clp labelling? I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about it and where to put them on my candles/packaging if you can help and maybe say where you put yours/where you have them made? 2) Maybe an odd question- you did a packaging video- do you then put that in another box or do you ship it the foldy flappy box and just put a mailing label on it? (Hope this makes sense 😂) 3) I’m struggling to find affordable jars/lids for my container candles. I don’t want to up the price of them but with Etsy fees their current profit margin is only 26% I’m trying to cut some costs without compromising aesthetic/customer experience- any general tips where I may be able to cut back? Thank you☺️ you’re videos have been a godsend!
Hey!! I'm so pleased to hear they are helpful! Ahh I always toy with the idea of a CLP video but if I'm honest I feel things change so much I'm worried people will watch it, it gets outdated and they end up with the wrong information and feel that I've misguided them. Even if I do updated videos there's no guarantee it'll be seen. So for now unfortunately I'm not. I get my CLP from my candle suppliers and go to banana print to print them. For packaging, all my candles now come in printed boxes and I then put those in a shipping box so a lot less complicated than before. I will do an updated candle shipping video once I have finalised some bits :) I buy my supplies from candle shack, I ended up removing lids as I found that no everyone really used them. With the boxes, it works out a lot cheaper as i can remove the need for lids and it also means retailers are more open to stocking. You could go for a cheaper alternative by using labels on the boxes instead of getting it printed. I would say with Etsy, focus on your SEO so you can start ranking and getting good reviews then you can up your price once you have built social proof. Hope this helps!! Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel!!xx
Im working on ombre candles and i love how they look although im realising why theres not many ombre glass container candle because its time consuming doing layers. Any recommendations following through with this idea
hi! would like to know if you have used candle shack lids for 30 cl lotto jar. I just ordered a sample, and they sit very loose on the jar...not quite satisfied? they don't have metal silicon jars in stock. I am confused as was so ready for my production...any ideas??? Thank you so much for your videos, they are very helpful....do you have any classes to start a business?
Loveee your video. I have a candle business and I’m trying to figure if scent tester cards would work for people to smell before buying a candle. How would who about it x
Ahh that’s a really good idea! I would get branded card pieces and make up room fragrances with the fragrance oils you use for your candles so it’s sprayable. It’s probably the easiest way 😊 thank you so much, I’m so pleased you like the video!! ❤️
Oops meant to say Happy 2022 😅🥰
Glad you’re back and looking forward to seeing you more often 😊
Hey Marloes!! Thank you so much, exciting to work on consistency 😅
Love the textured label on your Elements Air candle with the gold foil! Where did you get it manufactured?
Great video and good to see you back! ❤️

Great to see you back! I would love to know how to select your fragrances without being able to smell them before purchase.

So…. Let’s say I am at the start of this process. With consistency is 1 year a reasonable timeframe to go from getting the kit to launching?
Yup I would say so. It depends on how many scents but between 4-6 I think it’s achievable if you work consistently. Good luck! 🍀
Do you do private consultations via zoom or Skype? I am in the USA
I am starting to! I think I received an email from you. I’ll get back to it asap!xx
