I echo the comments of your subscribers a quality well documented and edited vlog. You have just wetted my thirst for my first cycling holiday in April 2024. If you wouldn't mind sharing your routes I would be extremely grateful. Yes it certainly highlighted your non religious side lol. If any of your subscribers could share there routes that would be even more amazing
Thanks for commenting and your compliment, I appreciate that. I hope you have a great time there next month. I have two other videos due for release next week and the week after which cover epic rides on Majorca. Feel free to subscribe to make sure you don't miss them. The rides I've already posted on UA-cam have a Strava ride link contained within the video description. 🚴👍
im going out to Majorca cycling in a few days, im getting excited now watching your vids of the routes I am about to do
Hi Steve, thanks for commenting. Hope you get good weather whilst there. Where on the island are you staying?
@@LivandTrekGoCycling staying in the Villaconcha Puerto Pollensa in 11 days time. 1st cycling holiday on the island, cant wait
@@SteveSinclair1 There is a reason cyclists flock there in their thousands. The scenery, the weather (if good) contribute towards it's label as a 'cycling paradise'. Make sure you do the 'Cap Formentor' climb..it's on your doorstep, the scenic views are impressive 🚴😎👍
Top class video hopefully do that same spin next month
Thanks Jason for commenting and the complement. Have a great time if you ride it next month. Have you ridden it before?
No first time in majorca was in menorca last year
Great clip, thanks for taking the time to put this together. It’s certainly giving me ideas for next year.
Thanks for your comments, it's much appreciated. If you go next year we hope you have a great time 👍
That Emonda is such a beautiful bike!
Thanks for commenting. It puts a smile on my face when I ride it.
Great filming. My absolute favourite route. There’s a little add-on you can do from the viewpoint up to the Talaia & back. More great views, but the road surface is shocking.
Thanks for commenting and for the compliment , I appreciate that. Is that the steep road up which you can see ahead of you as you stand with the monument behind you from the first viewing point?
Yes that’s it
@@follystone I've often wondered where that goes but to be honest what has put me off is how steep it looks 🤪. I've also never gone down the turn off to the right by the car / coach park after you first enter what I call the forest area..is it down to Formentor beach? Next time I do that ride...I'm going down there 🚴
Yes that’s a very short road to the beach & a really good cafe. There’s also a hotel which I think is being completely re-built, so it might be a bit of a building site for a while
I believe this is one of the best cycling video of Majorca. Love the details of commentaries and route . Keep up the good job. ❤❤
Thank you for commenting and thank you very much for your kind words. I really do appreciate that 👍. Have you ridden on the island yourself?
@@LivandTrekGoCycling This is our target next year (2025) . In 2023 we did the Shimanami Kaido Japan and possibly this year to Jeju in Korea. We would like your help and recommendations on where to stay and bike rentals in Majorca 🙂🙂
@firdaushanapiah7691 Personally I think staying in the North of the island is better than the south. From the North you have the option of flat rides as well as access to the mountains. There is less flat riding in the South. As for where to stay..in the North there are many options in the Alcudia and Port Pollenca areas. Last time we visited we stayed in Alcudia at this hotel

Thank you so much . Your advice is most helpful. We shall follow you on UA-cam and perhaps meet one day when we cycle the UK 😊😊
Fantastic Video, Thanks for sharing, was there with a group in May for the First Time , Amazing Island for Cycling, loved every minute and Especially The Lighthouse Spin , did it a Couple times has to be one of the most scenic cycles anywhere in the World, keep up the good work on the channel 🇮🇪 👍🇮🇪
Thanks for the comment.. Glad you enjoyed the video. The scenery is stunning but when seen for the first time it does take your breath away doesn't it? 🚴👍
Great video thanks for sharing it. My first time in Mallorca back in March so enjoying ur videos in cycling paradise and can't wait to get back there next spring.
Agree with your comments on cyclists with electric bikes.
Best wishes 😎🚴♂️👍
Thanks for your comments and feedback, much appreciated 👍. Hope you had a great time in March and also have a great time next spring. We have some more Majorca videos in the pipeline 🙂
Thank you very much for sharing this. Great high quality video. Very informative and motivational, since I am going there in March:)
Glad you enjoyed it. We've got more good stuff coming if I can tempt to subscribe 😉. Hope you have a great time there in March 🚴😎
I've just come back from Mallorca and did Cap Formentor, Sa Calobra, Coll de Femina and Sa Battala(not all in one ride though!). Absolutely awesome. Must be one of best places in world to ride and best thing is so close to UK so easy to get to for a quick trip or two. I went twice this year and going back next year.
Steve..it sounds like you had a great time and enjoyed yourself. Hope you enjoyed the videos 👍
Yep was superb, actually my photo is at Formentor.
Great videos 👍
Hello, where is this route exactly? I'll be in Mallorca in September and this is probably the only ride I can probably do. I hope to start my training in March. Thanks for any information you can pass on. Cheers.
Hi William, hope you have a great time in September. The Strava route link which shows the complete ride is in the video description. 🚴👍
Are you riding a Trek Emonda, if so how do you get it in a bike box with the integrated handlebars.great video by the way
Thanks for commenting David, glad you enjoyed it. The bike box I have is a 'Bike box Alan Tri' or it's also called the 'Bike box Alan easy fit '. I am riding an Emonda SLR7 and the box is designed specifically to fit bikes with integrated handlebars. Just remove pedals and wheels...seat and bars stay on. I have a video about it here ua-cam.com/video/mOTYtAGcGY0/v-deo.html 🚴👍
@@LivandTrekGoCycling Great video, thanks for your time
Great ride 😊
I think there’s greater satisfaction in a human powered bike but approaching 60 I can see an E bike prolonging my health span
Thanks for the comment Chris, I'm not far from that age myself. Glad you enjoyed the video 🚴👍
The creator is mother nature, life and time...
Cool.
With the upcoming spiritual awakening people will discover what the magical and legendary Mallorca realy is and they will fiant =).Having an open mind is vital and a blessing.Spiritual awakening for a reason because the truth wasnt taught.
Hey..thanks for commenting about the upcoming spiritual awakening but did you enjoy the video ?
Thank you for the video and commentary amazing! Please can you advise what camera & mic set up you used please? Also what mount did you use- chest?
Hi Jazz. For this video I used the Insta 360 x3 and the Insta 360 go 3 camera. The x3 was chest mounted using the standard insta 360 chest mount strap. You'll see it under accessories on their website. Thanks for commenting 👍
Thank you. So just wondering how does the x3 and x go work together as in how do you combine the footage? Sorry new to all this. If I just purchased one which would you recommend? Also what’s the battery life like?
Once we have the footage I transfer it to the computer...you'll need a decent spec'd computer to video edit and to edit the footage from both cameras I use a video editing program called Filmora 13. It's really user friendly for the beginner...which I still am. You should note however that if you use the x3 camera to record 360 Deg footage...you'll need to use the Insta studio desktop program to 'keyframe' it first. Before you buy
..do plenty of UA-cam research on this first. I also have the Insta 360 ace pro camera which is probably my best camera..that doesn't shoot 360 Deg footage. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend Filmora 13 and just one action cam....stay away from the x3 initially. The Insta 360 ace pro is ideal. I've never had a go pro. I have a 256 GB memory card in the ace pro and I get about one HR recording time in 4k but for long rides I carry a spare battery also.
Many thanks. Such good advice. I’m seriously considering the 360 go + chest strap. Need to save up now!
Good luck, the go 3 is a good camera but be aware that it doesn't come with removable memory or a removable battery.
