We met Marc and Trish in Texas at an E3 Event and found them to be so genuine and kind. You gotta love Marc's laugh and smile.

This park got hit by a tornado several years ago. Glad to see it still there!

We only lost our tractor building and the roof on our pavilion. But we’re still here! Going strong since 1967!

My wife got her first driver's seat time pulling our trailer last weekend, pulled it forward 50 feet at the check-in line while I was inside getting our info. 😂 Baby steps! That site looked like a great one to practice backing, nice and open area without trees or posts. Looks like she did a great job.
Prior to disconnecting the over center latches on the ProPride I always do one last verification of chocked wheels and tongue jack down, last second nerves before the trailer gets released.
That is awesome! Yes, Michelle did a great job. It also helped that we were among friends and this was not a typical campground where the daily entertainment involves watching people back into their sites while sitting in camp chairs drinking beer. 🍺 🤣
That's good advice and I agree 100% about being careful when disconnecting. I use a app based checklist that has the steps to chock, and X-chock the wheels before starting any disconnecting of the ProPride. Years ago we were camping in the New Hampshire White Mountains next to a creek. The sites were heavily sloped toward the boulder-filled water. An itty-bitty camper was setting up in the site beside us, and they neglected to chock the wheels before unhitching. It started a fast descent to the creek, but it was light enough that he could grab the tongue and stop it before it rolled over the edge. The memory of helping him hold the camper and chock the wheels is embedded into my memory. - Jim
@@airstreamer Wow! That must have been wild. Marc of KYD occasionally plays a short clip of an old video where he was distracted talking to a friend and almost disconnected prior to lowering the tongue jack. That always sticks in my head. Hope to come across you guys in our travels down the road, maybe at Top of GA! If I spot you I'll pop over. We will be in MD in a few weeks then Finger Lakes in June, Sept-Nov is still being planned.

Michelle you ROCKED IT! What a beautiful park we watched both you and KYD back to back…to back😂. We have volunteered for camp hosting here in Oregon, what do you guys think about it? I wanted the experience but it sure cuts into riding time 🏍️☘️, loving my must see AirStreamer UA-cam!! I think you will like hosting, especially if you get to drive a golf cart. 😁 This was our first time doing it, and we had a lot of support from the Park Managers, so that helped. We will be trying our hand at 3 Michigan State Parks serving as camp host this summer. How cool that you got to meet them and their son Caleb. Yes, they are really nice people! - Michelle

We love Top of Georgia! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We went in the fall and the colors were gorgeous!
If you want a fun hike in the area. - Anna Ruby Falls was a fairly short hike, but with beautiful views the whole way as you follow the river up to the waterfall.
Great job backing it up! So far I’ve only gone forward when pulling the Airstream. One of these days I’ll do some practice backing up probably in an empty parking lot. 😂
And what a fun bonus that KYD was there. 💙

Enjoyed the video as well as seeing KYD too! We are hosting at Box Canyon Campground this summer in Island Park, Idaho just outside of Yellowstone. We head out from our home in Oregon May 15th and will be there through mid September. This will be the longest we have stayed in our Airstream Classic since purchasing it. Happy trails!

Nice job Michelle you did great! I Saw the episode a few days ago when Mark and Trish went to that campground and I was thinking of you guys cause I knew you were in that area thats funny. They were so sweet loved how mark started talking to you. They are good folks! That's a great place to stay and I remember the price was great made me wish I had an airstream! Great video!
Thank you guys! We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw them come in right after us! We invited them over to our patio for Jim's signature Manhatten, and enjoyed an evening of sharing and laughter. Neither of us chose to video this gathering. It was about community and getting to know each other, not about "getting it on video." Living in the moment isn't always about putting it on UA-cam. 🥰

We hosted for 1 week there. Our first time campground hosting, but we have more opportunities coming up this summer in 3 Michigan parks. Michigan requires a 1 month commitment.

Very informative. Will you share the app you used for your checklist? I have an Airstream, and had a ProPride hitch installed a few months ago. Your checklist is exactly what I need for my own set-up. Thanks so much!
Thanks for asking. I was using ForgetNot on the App Store. I’m also trying out That Checklist App. Both are free apps. You will need to input all your own items for the check list. BTW, the Beech Lane levelers and their leveling app has made leveling the Airstream a breeze. - Jim
I'm surprised that there would be enough business for a campground to be Airstream Only. Airstream has a relatively small niche in the camper market.
