Andy voice makes this so believable lol
It took me way too long to figure out this was an April fools joke smh, I was low key excited to hear it
All I knew was Andy doesn’t usually talk for more than a minute. 🤔
That's a lot of work for an April Fool's joke. Hats off to you.
Awww man... I hadn’t watched it yet.
Lol
Josh Scott : "The Ibanez Visual Super Product is the rarest pedal ever.'
Andy: "Hold my beer."
That very thought had crossed my mind when I saw this last night.
God, I'm so gullible.
It took me until 5 minutes in to realise this was a joke, well played!
oh my...till the jimi photoshop pics i totally fell for it😂😂
I can't wait to see someone try to clone this one and sell it for more than a Klon on Reverb.
Behringer: Hold my Beer
@@rolandbies7051 😆
Now we will never know how this piece de recistance or opus ampus sounded, but it will resonance in rock music lore for ever. That battery will still fuel one thing: the legend.
Truer words have never been spoken.
I, for one will be sure to keep an eye out for “Nocturnal Pyrexia” by JHS 👀😏
tbh we would buy that in a second if Josh could capture the essence of this pedal!
Watching this on the 28th Aug was pretty confusing. It's not until near the end of the video I was thinking "Andys never going to play this thing!" and then I realised what was happening. This is quite the Aprils Fools joke, lol. Good job.
This is what happens when you watch UA-cam before you've had your coffee.
I love how the pedal community has the best April Fool's jokes.
Same
I literally believed everything in this video till I looked at my date in the bottom right corner... OH YEAAAAA
2.5 years later, I made it 5 minutes into this video before I paused to scroll down and see what date it was posted on. Well done! And I'm ashamed to admit I totally bought the Big Muff origin story for about 1.5 minutes.
This but it's just a dead serious recollection of Fran Blanche's career
Nice one. Even Andy couldn't keep a straight face, after 15 seconds!
i heard through the grapevines that she uses the CA3140 chip, but takes the compensation/balance pin as output instead of the actual output pin, and that thsi generates a harmonic pattern that is round but not too smooth
Love the giggling grin on your face, Andy. April Fool's Day makes for the best video viewing all year long! Hugs to all!
April fools good one you had me for a 2 whole mins
Well played. Best part was the Muffler thing - a totally believable Muff origin story!
This is the best lol “and put it in a larger enclosure that we now know today as the big muff” 😂🤣
Man you had me going for quite a while there, nice work! 🤣
You had me up until the end Andy! XD
Thanks for this!!!
I had this on in the background and watched nearly the whole thing before I realized. Awesome job.
This is amazing!
Well done. This will be hard to top next year!
I was working while listening to this and only half paying attention. Didn't even realize what was going on until the very end. The disappointment was real. 😂Well done!
Omg. You had me right up to the end. I was actually angry at Mike Matthews for cloning the muffler and getting all the glory. Lolz
Loved it!
I was all in until 3:30, then wondered, "Is this an April Fool's prank?" Well played! The mockumentary of pedal history.
Hilarious, you got me! Great work Andy
Excellent work.
Ahhh the revered and esoteric Maggie Cutlass. She also worked at the British "Cutless Yarn Factory" in Kent circa 1962. The legendary "We Spin a Good Yarn" was coined by Maggie, and that logo was affixed to the outside of the entrance to the factory. Lots of mufflers were made from their finely spun British wool. I wonder if this was the original inspiration for "The Muffler"... No?
Well played sir. Well played.
it took me till minute four to know what this was but it’s the best one of these youtube things that i’ve seen
Crap...you even had me googling Maggie Cutlass while I was watching this. Well played Andy....well played.
LOL, you had me going there for a few minutes.
I don’t know why I fall for these. Nicely done
Helluva job, guys... Took WAY too long before I understood, lol... Welp, this is a thing now...
Well done, it took me a minute to realise.
It took me way too long to figure out what this is
APRIL FOOLS! Love it!
So I happened upon this 8 months later... Good work 😁
Brilliant!
Omg. I loved this. Good job Andy. I love ALL your videos but they don’t all make me laugh like this did!
I love all the photos with “her” in the background 😂😂😂🙏☘️☘️☘️
Well played, Andy. Well played.
Cool vid!
Sounds great
SO GOOD!!!!
That was fun!! Good on you.
AWESOME!
🤔..has this pedal sold out? I can’t find any listings on Reverb
Thank you for making this lol
that's great!
Damn it Andy. Well played sir. Well played.
Love the editing, andy. Thank you for making a new history for us.
In aprils fools
LOLOLOLOL- Thank you Andy, that made my day!
Good one Andy! :)
Epic story. Loved it! lol
can’t wait for Josh Scott to get his hands on this
Best video on April 1st!
I even started goggling maggie cutlass!
That's a good one Andy!
I'm loving April's Fool Day !! Best entertainment of the year. I came for the LOLZ, and was not disappoint.
Well done, Andy...well done
What about using Acetone to release the screws on the back and let you remove the back and replace the battery with a new rechargeable.
i'm stoned and i didn't realize this was an april fools joke until the very end
It's my understanding that the person who owns that one-copy-only Wu Tang Clan album also owns this pedal.
Ha ha ya got me Andy, And I saw the Anderton April fools this morn. I was on to that one, shoulda caught it, but it's late...
Epic!
Nice. That's the pedal I've always wanted
OK. You got me, Andy. I can see Josh Scott pulling this with that Walrus JHS all overdrive pedal, but you took the biscuit. Good one.
This is funniest thing I saw yesterday and there were a lot of good ones, but this one was great!
Well Done
Pure gold
Imagine Ken Burns doing a 9 part doc series about Pooty Tang!!😂
Oh my God! I LOVE this so much...
I don't know how you got the this without laughing
You got me :-D
could someone take this apart? I doubt that the enclosure is impossible to open up... any box can be opened!
Love this
Still can't believe Andy was able to get access to this pedal!
@@Reverb It sounds amazing! Can you share the schematic?
I need this pedal...oh wait!! This is GOLD!
Hats off to you and Maggie
I have tears of laughter rolling down my face!
Nice guitar 🎸
Nicely done - Happy April fools
tremulous yet steady
Took me far too long to realise. Should've known from the fjrst line when he said there was only one made and this is it.
nice!
It appears the rebirth of the legend has become the afterbirth of the legend! D'OH!!!!
Has anyone reissued this pedal? It was cool to hear about the secret history of the Big Muff
As soon as the battery dying sound hit I remembered what day it was
Battery is DEAD LOL !!!! Not expecting that....... nice formative video !!!!
I heard the pedal is currently on display next to "the pick of destiny" @the Rock History museum.
Wanted to hear that sound so bad. Didn't get the joke at all until I scrolled down lol
lol, I was wondering why everything was photoshopped so hard.
Bravo, Andy! 👏👏👏
