Flick Live Show - John Flickinger The Flick Pick ask me anything! #LiveStream #liveshow #podcast
Keep up the streams John!! We are glad you are back!!
John's fant4stic review should be rewatched as many times as possible. Because it's epic
Truly one of his best
Along with his 50 shades review
Glad to have you back John! Been following you since 2013, absolutely stoked you got engaged, truly a magical time!
I'm really glad you're back, with your signature dark humour. 😁
I love you man, been watching for years. I usually just leave your channel on and walk away and leave it playing and then I'll sit down and start laughing hysterically over whatever your talking about. Keep it up. And Congrats on the engagement brother.
John glad you’re back. And yes you’ve been missed and I love your Black Friday videos
HE LIED!!! He said he doesn’t want to give investing advice!!! I sat at table with him when he gave investing advice to Austin Burke!!!
Haha
Love your live streams mate. It’s frustrating though as I have the notification bell switched on but never get notified 😕
I love how you described a movie you didn’t watch as what you wish it would be...and its almost exactly that, hahaha.
Love me a good flick pick livestream 👌🏽
My favourite disaster/survival movie is Everest. Great cast, great soundtrack beautifully shot but most importantly for the true life event. Such a haunting and tragic story. I know the movie mainly focuses on Rob Hall because he might be the most tragic figure. But the survival story of Beck Weathers is one of the most unbelievable and inspiring stories I've ever heard. The guy had been left for dead like three times. I mean he basically died twice in one day and just by pure will to live he stood up and walked down a mountain with half his body being frozen dead. It's mind blowing.
The movie is worth a watch and if you're interested in learning more about the event I highly highly recommend the book "Into Thin Air" by John Krakauer as well as Beck Weathers' own book "Left For Dead". I listened to the audiobooks and both of them are thrill rides!
The Killer only has one big action scene. Otherwise it's a slow burn with the main character narrating. I loved it.
Agreed. Yeah I think you should give it a chance. It’s a slow burn.
Love the Sundays now, thanks buddy
1:24:27 top flick moments ever
Saw napoleon last week while the battle scenes were awesome, it wasn’t as good as I hoped. Battle scenes look great on the big screen tho
I recognised a lot of people who usually leave superchats in the Critical Drinker's livestreams. Interesting, is there a common fan base for John and Drinker?
Yep it is, same with Az, Mauler, Nerdrotic, G + G, Ryan kinel ect.
@@MaidenUK glad to find this out
missed your streams, the viewers ask the most grueling / need to know questions haha
This is the second one I missed, UA-cam doesn’t notify me when you stream for some reason
Jonn Waterloo it is a GREAT napoleon film that all focuses on that 1 battle and they literally took 16,000 soldiers from the USSR and trained them for 2+ month to recreate the WHOLE battle on 30+ square mile of terraformed Ukraine in 1970 all practical on Film, no CGI, and nearly everything, down to what people said, is almost perfectly historical accurate and its on UA-cam for free, have I convinced you to watch it soon
So glad you are back!
John, I need more gym vlogs. I still use some of the tips I learned from your old ones.
Congrats 🎉🍾 John.
John I think you’d like saltburn, it’s like a British modern American psycho and less college party movie, real weird but really good
John, I appreciate your investment advice! Invest in physical discs, and flip them. I look forward to the high ROI.
Love the intro! Gets me pumped!
Watch these mini series: Your Honor, Severance and Escape at Dannemora. Quality shows
Great new intro Flickster!!!! Nice synth touch
Congrats on the engagement John!
New intro gets my juices flowing
Godzilla minus one is awesome. It’s the second movie I ever watched that is in another language with English subtitles. It deserves the positive reviews and you actually care about the humans. Check it out!!!
I like the new intro its🔥.
Brilliant new intro!
2002-03 Ruthless aggression era Brock lesnar was the shit!! Remember the beat down he gave to a one legged wrestler named zach gowen
If you could pick a movie to get a 4K restoration that isn’t out on 4K right now what would you pick?
Survival movie Old Skool movie "My Side of the Mountain" from the 60's
John, did you start back on the same weights as a year ago? or half the weight or between that? i bet the ache from startin back was gnarly.
Peaky Blinders, if you haven't seen it yet. I loved that show.
Andor was good. Also dude from Silent night is good in The Killing. If you want somber thriller stuff like Mindhunter, watch it.
Good ass live stream john ! Glad u getting back into the gym because i just got back in there myself i remember watching u when u were jacked 😂😂 been watching you for awhile man keep the content coming
Corey Feldman should’ve been the lead in the Robo-Cop remake.
The Killer is more like what you described than you probably think. Give it a chance.
Don’t know if you got asked this in stream, but have you seen Arctic with Mads Mikkelsen? Really solid survival story, but kind of short which is my only issue with it.
Saltburn is if Patrick Bateman went to Oxford
Since you're into disaster movies lately and you wanted a recommendation for series: watch the mini series Chernobyl, John. You won't be disappointed!
Watched it, really enjoyed it! I wish they would make a series on more true events with the same tone and quality.
Great that you watched it and enjoyed it! I've got a good survival action/thriller for you to recommend: Southern Comfort. It's a good Walter Hill movie. And for a true cop/crime story watch The Onion field. Especially if you like James Woods. He plays a great sob in that.
You might like Black Bird, its very similar to mindhunter, but even better imo
Do the new Japanese IMAX Godzilla review! I hate only subtitles movies!!!!!! Ugggggggggg sucks for us with learning disabilities like ADHD. 🤓🖖
Oooooh new intro
The king is Back 👑
You married!? Wow! You're finally growing up. 😅 This must really be the right one since they all left you or you left them we don't know. Congrats Mr hottie! XOXO 🤩😍🥰 🎦 🎦 🎭 🎭
you gone pick up the American Psycho comic?
Batman is the franchise. The Nolan movies are a trilogy in that franchise
True lies and the abyss in 4K in March of 2024 !!!
John Loki season 2 is great, give it a try if u can
How woke is it?
I’m also in the mood for serial Killers and want mindhunter season 3, the killer was a 6/10 don’t bother watching it watch I stand alone (1998) or combat shock (1986) or something instead
'i wont live in misery", is about to get married.
Damn!
5:05 Chris stuckman is prime example of that he gone to soft on movies after he chose to become director.. Now all of his reviews feel the same I can't differentiate between shit movie a mid movie and good one.. He stopped given ratings too like he use to do before.
Dumb question but what is his new job?
Project management, seems to be mainly on renovations/repairs with quite flexible hours.
idk, john seems like he's slowly losing his touch on movie watching. he has way more negative things to say than positive
Because movies are in the worst state they've ever been in lol
@@HunterMagunterI feel like he’s over criticizing. I feel like he’s just lost his love for movies not because of the state it’s in but maybe something in his life has interrupted his interest in movies. Idk how to explain it but he just seems off. Or it’s probably just me
@sunstyle52 you expect him to be overly positive, he's done faking it now that he doesn't have too
Reason I'm not Godzilla is because Im not in tha mood to read sub tittles. They should of dub it.
C’mon buddy you haven’t picked up a book since high school, a little reading never hurt nobody 😅
Elf really didn't age well imo
You are taking a HUGE L by putting off watching Saltburn. Just do it, already..
Dude the killer isnt action packed
at all but its still not the great.
Ya it’s much closer to what he really wants trailer is just marketing
ALL IS LOST 2013 with Robert Redford. Great Survival flick
On the list!
Loki Season 2 is trash. Its horrible filler episodes that don’t contribute anything to the story. Utterly pointless
John you gotta stop listening to the people that you're getting your movie recommendations from. They seem to be consistently off the mark, might be the reason why you tend to watch mediocre stuff and miss on the great stuff
