Hi, I’m Patrick. I’m a freelance science writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and a master’s in clinical exercise physiology. I used to work in the clinical setting as a certified athletic trainer, physical therapy aide, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. After working in the clinical setting, I went back to school and became a teacher. The goal of my content is to help normal people, not just pre-med students, learn about the human body. That might mean explaining a topic from an anatomy class or exploring a topic from medical history.

Spot on, definitely using this
I read it in Scooby's voice and now, it's stuck and I can't unhear it. 😫 HELP!
In spanish risa just means smile, so it’s as simple as that lol
That is awesome, thank you!
for the genioglossus: have you ever seen that picture of albert einstein sticking his tounge out? I remember that as the genius with his tounge out, so obviously the genioglossus must perform the action of sticking out ones tounge
Ooooh, that's a great little memory device

I love the education for every body motto.
Thank you a million. I stambled on your video the night before my exam. I watched the lower lamb muscles. your vdieo made me memorize them fast and efficiently. I liked what you said about Gracialis (gracious :) I susbcribed, am now officially one of your students . May you be healthy and happy ! thank you again!
If I had discovered this guy when I was going to school for Massage Therapy and Aesthetic. I definitely would have pursued a career as a dermatologist. But I guess it's never too late.
I truly appreciate your hard work, and really like how you love to explain things in the most simple way so the audience can memorize it, I am a clinical pharmacy student and this series had helped me a lot increase my knowledge about anatomy

@@Corporis thank you, been out of massage school/practice for ages and this came at the perfect time. Also have you done any study of/heard of Dr. Janet Travells triggerpoint therapy? Its super neat. The text book is called
Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction: The Trigger Point Manual in the text saline solution is used, but it can be done manually which is what I learned
Thanks 🌹
Thank you for the videos! You are a wonderful human being!
My pleasure! Best of luck in your studies
do a video on arteria supply to the head and veins
Thanks boss
Could you make a video summarizing muscles in all the videos
Do you have a video for all muscles, their actions, exercises and planes of motion -thanks 💪❤️
Not yet! This series is going to focus on surface level memorization strategies for anatomy tests, and I'll put out a new video each week for the next six weeks, then a compilation video at the end. I'm afraid that doing a deep dive including all that information is outside the scope of this series
@@Corporis Thank you! I'm currently in the study process for NASM's CPT and was trying to locate a video or even a chart that contains everything in one location for me to study from. ;-)
excellent video....at what depth is botox used in the dao muscle area, please ?
in the video you told that LLSAN runs from zygomatic arch to the upper lip.
but hows it possible that its passing through zygomatic arch?
About Levator Labii superioris alaequae nasi, you said it runs from zygomatic arch. Isn't it superciliary arch?
great video but I only liked it because you told people to watch The Dark Knight. Awesome breakdown of the muscles also, thank you!
Oh that the reason I can't really remember all those muscles as didn't learn them 😱
tks
what is the average depth of the depressor sept nasi?
Thanks sir for your easly understandable video on face and head muscles but sir you have missed mentalis muscle of the mouth
@6:52 said "it runs to your zygomatic arch all the way down to your upper lip" but it doesn't seems to be in the diagram shown. ??
Can you please make one on heart and lung?
Absolutely. What would you want to see? Just how to remember more detailed anatomy?
The video is the best but is fast and I wanted to make some notes, pls if next time you can slow down a bit
Pause it
Ken Hub anatomy is difficult to login with a lot of questions and then taking me nowhere then spent long time without locking in
It's good
I remember buccinator by thinking it sounds piratey and you go arrrr as a pirate. But my classmates have been pronouncing it like buck-in-ator (UK) idk the proper pronunciation but I can write it and it works 😂
The Buccinator sounds like a muscle named by Doofenshmirtz 😂
"BEHOLD! THE BUCCINATOR!"
ive been laughing at "that's pterygoid" for 10 minutes lmaooo
How young does he think we are to not know The Dark Knight 😭 I'm only 19 but everyone around my age knows
Good explained but in the fastest manner.
❤
6:54 you confused the insertion. LLSAN starts at processus frontalis maxillae.
Looks like a Correctugator or an alligator!? Got it?
superb patrick well explained 😊👏👌 love from pakistan
Is he the “are you sick of flipping pages for anatomy? Are you bored of uninspiring atlases and flash cards?…..” guy??!
Cuz he sure sounds like him 😭
LLSAN: Levator Labii Superioris Alaeque Nasi Muscle 😵😵💫
LLSAN muscle is the easiest to remember to me just because the name is so ridiculously long lol
That's exactly why the sternocleidomastoid muscle always stuck in my brain. It's so ridiculous, but so logical
When you went here to know about drawing and came out to become an anatomist.
You're following a long tradition! Da Vinci and the great Renaissance artists were all anatomists too!
Can i make my face bigger and manly
glossus is not latin tho
Ahh dang it, I knew I made an error somewhere. Hope you still got some value out of the video
Patrick you have simplified anatomy and i don't know what i would have done without your videos.... Thanks alot... Words can't explain what gratitude i have... Much love from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪
Don't really see it either 😅..... #triangularis
I never understood why science has to make such complex names. I get is based off of Latin and Greek… but why not name it the “straight upper eye muscle”?
We have different muscles so many names
Where my estheticians at
Free for phalestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸
Thank you
