      I’m watching your videos on a Saturday evening😂You know your a Mom when😂Love your videos because the tone of your voice changes and keeps things interesting. Nothing like trying to learn anatomy by a teacher who seems like he hates his life. Thank you for adding pictures which also helps❤️❤️❤️

    You’re a really good teacher. This is why UA-cam is great. Sad we spend all this money on school when a lot of people would agree you can find people online who either have perfected their craft or who are just naturally talented in teaching - hence why they’re on UA-cam. I have to supplement my education with UA-cam a lot. It’s a luxury people didnt have in the past but it definitely has me wondering about the future of higher education. I think for all the money we spend, we need an upgrade in the system.

      Why do we spend money on schools when it’s on UA-cam? Is that what you said? Well because kids aren’t watching anatomy UA-cam videos in their spare time. Or their parents. And info from the internet is not always true or correct. That’s why we need schools.

    A good way to remember sartorius is that it looks like a seatbelt that goes across the leg like a seatbelt does across the body

    great video as an intro to the lower limb... for me if i memorize this whole video it wouldn't be enough because i have to memories the following:
    1:origin
    2:insertion
    3:action
    4:nerve supply
    5:relations
    that's what my university (AlexMed in egypt alexandria) asks about in the exam... so yea im basically F'd my exam is tomorrow and all i finished is the upper limb anatomy(60hours) and musculoskeletal physiology(12hours).. i still have the lower limb(40hours) and the histology(12hours).... hopefully im going to pass but im not gonna be near the B+ that i want

    • @DarrenWinkley
      @DarrenWinkley 2 роки тому +15

      Think about the origins and insertions. Then look at the line of pull and imagine what it does. For example, biceps femoris originates at the ischial tuberosity and inserts at the fibular head. If you pull the origin and insertion together, it is either going to pull your lower leg to your seat (knee flexion) or pull your upper leg backward (hip extension).

    My friend came up with a way to remember sartorius but it’s a little disturbing. Back when musically was a thing, Jacob sartorius was kinda famous and girls always wished he would take them on dates. So just imagine being on a date with Jacob sartorius and he puts his hand on your thigh and feels you up. It’s traumatizing but I never forget which one is sartorius
