I'm Gil and I'm here to share my motorcycle experience with you. Hopefully you will find the topics and content entertaining and of use in your personal lives and journey.
Bear mountain bridge is always a good area to ride. Still with the city beemers, nice.
For sure! Love group riding without the responsibility of leading the ride while enjoying awesome twisty roads.
100% to that G! Leaving egos at home is easy to say but can be difficult to do for some. Be the rider that comes home safely. Bike, gear and self intact. You will be so much happier. Then work to find “like minded” riders for group selection next time, if you felt you were being shelled out the back. Good topic!
Yup! Easier said than done. Getting the ride in and getting home safely is the goal.
"If you find yourself falling behind..." yeah, that would be me. I feel seen! :D I love riding at the back. Nobody to piss off behind me, I can enjoy my cigar, and I'll eventually catch up :D
Like to say “Get In Where You Fit In” it’s all good.
Thanks for sharing your video G! You’re right about being over sixty and having to take a ‘break’ while riding. Since I’m a prostate cancer survivor, the urge is even more so present! Those were some great scenes along your ride! I should be posting a new video soon after a recent ride. Take care out there!!
Yup. We have to take the best care of ourselves, both mentally and physically. To a great extent the motorcycling aids in the spiritual department.
Quick Question: How do I update my 2018 Honda Goldwing to my new USB C port iPhone 15? The AppleCarplay is useless now. You've been a better resource for my Goldwing than dealers! Thanks!
Buy a USB C TO UBC adapter they are fairly inexpensive.
@@GBeWinginIt Thanks. I tried various USB to lightning adaptors, but they didn’t work.

I always say ride your own ride. Your right but move the slow rider to the front the last person should be your better riders to keep up. Great topic and I stop often for a nature call. Ride Safe
Getting old does have its challenges but also offers us the rewards of slowing it down and enjoying the journey.
Riding in a group is to me a way to ride at a different pace. If I’m in a larger group, I just know I’m going to be a bit more relaxed. Not navigating, enjoying the scenery, practicing my lines… it’s all good!
Agreed! Not leading offers so many opportunities to enjoy the ride in different ways.
I had an awesome ride, in some fantastic weather on Sunday!
The goal for sure! An awesome ride coupled with great weather can't be beat.
@@GBeWinginIt Exactly!!!
This is a good topic, G. I've sometimes fallen victim to riding much faster than I intended on group rides. As I've matured on the bike, I tend to care less now. When riding with others these days, I'm just trying to look out for others and enjoy the comradery (OK, I still get a spirited pull every now and then, haha). I love how green everything is! Beautiful ride!
Yup! Maturity often comes with slowing things down and taking it all in. And yes there are times you have to LAY DOWN THE HAMMER.
I'm curious Gil, what river was that you were riding along?
That would be the Way Bank of the Hudson River.
Back of the pack
That's a great place to settle in and enjoy the ride.
What is the jacket?
Bohn Airtex, here's a link to my review below.

I apologize i linked a summer weight jacket i'm currently using. The one in this video is the Tempest 3 jacket by Dianese. Got it on closeout last year.
@@GBeWinginIt was it cool enough for that heat?
