- Опубліковано 27 чер 2024
- The NUX Mighty Plug Pro MP-3 has got to be the SMALLEST and FULLY FUNCTIONAL multi-effect processor on the market right now. This successor of the original Mighty Plug has exceeded all expectations and definitely over-delivered in all aspects. If you're looking to save yourself from backaches from carrying a heavy pedalboard, this is for you.

Notice:
While demonstrating the live-streaming capability, ZOOM app applied compression to the video file and affected the true tone of this device. Also, I have forgotten to turn the mic off while playing the guitar hence the guitar pick sound. To hear what it truly sounds like, check out 05:28 of this video. That demo was recorded by connecting the NUX Mighty Plug Pro directly to Logic Pro.

My partnership with NUX remains non-monetary at the point of this video. NUX sent me the product and I am free to create this video without any obligations.
Update:
I guess the effect parameters aren't actually global, but they always default to the last setting used. You should still be able to use different values on different presets. This is similar how you can configure MG-300 or MG-30 (Follow Mode) - Guitar Amp Modeling
The Bluetooth EQs are for the backing tracks you stream to the device. The "Invert EQ" button is in fact vocal removal button that works by inverting one of the audio channels. - tuntori

Omg I just checked and you are absolutely right! Thank you for this very important piece of info! Gonna pin it up.
@@PedalRebel880 Great discovery. It would be very important to add a text in the video warning about this new information in order to avoid giving the wrong idea on this very important aspect.
Wonderful, in depth review! Very good job!
Excellent demo! Expecting delivery of a Mighty Plug Pro tomorrow…Thanks for sharing. 💫
Gran video amigo ...y gracias por los subtitulos en Español ..
Great review

Nice! Yeah I didn't explore that part and it's great to know what it does now :)
great review👍👍👏but how do you get into the editing menü?
Great video. Currently when I plug in to the laptop I get a latency issue. Would this get round that? And if I wanted to use a speaker rather than headphones, would Bluetooth be ok or would that re-introduce latency? Hoping to use this for practicing along to tracks and for recording
I could not find a manual for this - so happy you explained, for instance import and export of patches. But what do the 'boxed checkmark' and 'floppydisk' icons do above them? or point to a manual. I really like the unit - returned my fender mustang micro for this unit and I like this one way better.
Boxed checkmark is to select and set your active presets. Floppydisk is save!
Can you adjust the volume on the device itself or does have to be done via app? Great review! Thanks
There are 2 buttons by the side for volume adjustments!
I downloaded your presets and extracted the compressed files with 7zip on windows O on my laptop. Did you make a video on how to add the downloaded presets into the presets of the Nux mighty pro plug-in? I am a bit lost on how to do that.
6:01 Cool chord progression. What are the chords? and what is the Mod being used? Thanks
is it possible to connect the Mighty Plug to a speaker or guitar amp instead of headphones ?
Great job!!! How do we switch in between presets while playing?
You can simply press the button on the MPP itself if you're not connected to the app.
@@PedalRebel880 thanks man. I guess the easiest is to use the app on a tab, in case of live use.
Ottimo video 👍👍👍…..
one question: una volta caricato sull editor del MacBook un impulse response di terze parti, come faccio ad averlo anche nell app dell iphone?
I believe you can only load it from the desktop app at the moment. However, if you have had it loaded into your MPP, then you can simply select which of your 3rd party IR you want on your phone.
@@PedalRebel880 ho risolto!!! In pratica dall editor del pc carico le ir esterne e in automatico me le trovo anche nell app di iphone 👍👍
@@cinocino9342 sì, è giusto! divertiti :)
my NUX MP2 has been very good, now this NUX MP pro is getting better. I hope it has looper, MicroSD card slot & better drum machine
Unfortunately, there are neither looper nor MicroSD in this version. Maybe in the future "Pro Max"? haha :D
@@PedalRebel880 i wish it can future upadtes can come wt a Dotted 8th Delay and a looper
@@georgemavimbela was thinking of that too! I believe it is doable and hopefully NUX will read your comment :)
Why would you want a micro sd slot?
@@michaeldean7220 I wish it had looper & recording features, then I am gonna need storage in it. I don't wanna loose song/track inspirations
Real great demo/review of this gadget. I ordered mine and still ch3cking out as much additional info about it as i can while waiting for it.
It is cool that it can remember an effect’s last settings globally as you demonstrate. But does this also mean that if you tweak that effect in one preset that it automatically changes it for all other presets in which the effect is already being used? That would not be very practical or desired and would mess up your other existing presets constantly. Or do i misunderstand?
Actually that was my concern but was answered quickly by my viewer :) The settings are independent on every preset, it just has the ability to copy and paste it globally until you tweak it for the next preset. A great way for the user to spend less time remembering what worked before!
@@PedalRebel880 okay perfect, that is indeed very useful! Glad you cleared that up, thank you!
Please tell me what android "video call" apps works with Nux Mighty plug pro (Line and Facebook Messenger not works).
It should work with any device that can accept the MPP as your audio input device.
Does it now have a Tuner? And can it be connected to a MIDI/ Wireless Foot Switch?
Well sadly no tuner and no connection to footswitch at this point. Let's hope for an update :)
@@PedalRebel880 I am missing very badly a tuner in my pro :(. I have to carry a separate tuner.
There's a tuner now
hi, compared to fender micro, which one sound more realistic?
Well, I'll say Fender does have a better range of clean tones but lacking in the overdriven section. Overall, Fender lacks a few features that NUX is offering too. Both sound great if you use them correctly.
@@PedalRebel880 Thanks 👍
Is it possible to plug a Bluetooth transmitter into the headphone Jack of the Mighty Plug and then connect to a Bluetooth speaker?
Interesting idea.. never tried!
No too much latency maybe in the future
Does this work with wireless bluetooth headphones?
From what I know, it receives bluetooth audio and not transmit.
how to connect wah pedal to nux mighty plug pro?
Guitar > WAH > NUX > HEADPHONES😊
I wish we wouldn't need to use a cable to connect to the PC (to get to the editor) it would be good to be able to connect via Bluetooth
Me too but the truth is Bluetooth is quite limited in terms of data transfer speed and latency.
does it have a looper and drums?
Yes drums no looper
@@james9789 Thanks. I have read so many reviews regarding an annoying hiss sound(sone say it goes if you use higher impedance headphone) that noise gate cant solve, did you encounter this and how you manage it?
@@abd-ix5qd your welcome.Ive only recently acquired it, not heard it yet it will be disappointing if the noise is there .Though I can forgive it at the low price plus its mainly for practice.
I bet you if it's there a little altering of the parameters will either remove it or mask it.I wouldn't let that put you off one bit.You do need to spend a lot more to get pristine audio quality.
@@james9789 Thanks. This is actually my prefered over the mustang micro but due to this issue Im holding back. Some say takes a few months then this squaking noise comes. Great technology though for practice
Nice software. But isn’t there a Dry/Wet knob for effects? That clearly needs fixing. 100% wet fx is always way more fun.
I do agree that the software isn't the best but NUX has always been a company that listens to the community and improves on its products. So I say, let's look forward to an update on things that aren't working well. As for the Dry/Wet knob, which are you referring to? For example, CE2 only has the rate and depth knobs because that's how the original pedal was designed. While the digital delay will offer the option of level to allow you to set the amount of wet signal you want to hear. But if you go into the routing page, you can set that Dry/Wet knob to control the amount of overall processed sound versus your dry signal to your earphones.
Background music is too loud it is drowning out your talking volume.
Heres the deal. Great practice toy and streaming tool, BUT... GOOD TONE IS HEAVY AND HARD TO CARRY. THE END............
