    Guys please upvote this for others. That audio issue where it doesn't send audio played to the headphones was almost a deal breaker for me, but it's a simple fix and I haven't seen any youtubers so far mention it.
    Once the nux is paired via the mighty plug app you also need to pair it bluetooth from your phone like you would a speaker. Now you can play all phone audio through it as well. The plug has 2 Bluetooth connection indications for this reason!
    I almost returned mine for this reason and I'm putting this comment on as many videos as I can. Please spread the word!

      If you have an android phone you can search for "Mightier Amp" app on Github. I made it because this device has such a big potential not realized in their original app.
      With my app you can save and recall unlimited amount of presets on your phone, you can use all the amps and effects and IRs in any of the 7 channels and I'm currently developing an awesome jamtrack functionality where you can load any backing track from your phone and add events that change the active preset at any point of the song timeline. This way the amp automatically changes its settings to clean/drive etc. while the song plays.

    After owning both the Fender Mustang Micro and this device, the Nux blows the Micro away. After comparing both, the $99 Micro lacks a ton of features and flexibility. For the money, sound, features and intuitive app, the Nux for $69 is the way to go. I was super disappointed with the Micro and sent that sucker back.

      Which one do you prefer sound wise? The Micro sounds absolutely beautiful and you can also use it as an audio interface, haven't seen much from the Nux, I remember watching a comparative video, the Nux sounded much worse than the Micro, but watching separate videos from the Nux, it does not sound bad at all

      It doesn't work as a Bluetooth transmitter. and Bluetooth tech has a noticeable lag which makes it bad for live music as such, basically, you'll notice that you hit a string and a while later(few hundred mini seconds) the sound arrives the Bluetooth earphones/speakers. Radio frequency is the way to go for such purpose.

    you have to pair the device for the audio side, then the jam tracks will play through your headphones. there aren't a lot of backing tracks on the app, but once you've figured out how to pair the audio, you can play on top of other apps like youtube, spotify etc. then it becomes a great tool to play with whatever tracks you like.

    Hi ya, how does this compare with the Fender Micro?

    • @joellebrodeur1015
      @joellebrodeur1015 3 роки тому +1

      I had the Micro for a week and returned it. I personally hated it. It never sounded anything like the demos, particularly depending on headphones used. I experienced a strange volume drop when streaming music to the device to practice to.
      Plus, I hated the limited EQ fixed settings and the fixed modify settings for the effects. It may seem on the demos it's so fantastic, but after using the Nux for a handful of days, for $30 less, the Nux does way more. Micro has no drums, metronome, backing tracks, USB output adjustments or Bluetooth EQ. Nux has all of that. Both function the same wheb connected to the computer.
      The Nux has a far better sound, albeit some effects sound digitial, but there's plenty of other useable tones, plenty of ways to dial in and this has a noise gate.
      Yeah, there's some stuff I don't like (huge volume swings that need to be dialed down on the OD and DIST), but once that is tamed, the device and app remember where you left off.
      Nux was around a good year before the Micro. I say don't bother with the $99 Micro. The Nux is the cleat winner based on my own experience. Yes, you can use this without the app. Just save your settings and use the front button to switch through your saved presets.

    Had this for months and love it. It cannot be beat at the price, an independent amp, can use it as an interface, can line-out into a PA for external sound and even perform, and enough FX, mods, IR, and more. The only downside is the limited preset options, basically stuck with only 4 saved tones, and if you only play clean and crunch like me, only 2 are really used.

    I bought one of these a couple of days ago but haven’t had a chance to try it out. The review is awesome so thanks for that...but I guess I assumed that Bluetooth headphones or ear buds would work with this? Am I mistaken? I haven’t used wired headphones in years.

      There is only Bluetooth receiver. You can't use headphones without cable.

    The Mighty Plug sends Bluetooth MIDI data to your iPad, not audio data. That's the reason they didn't include a tuner in the app.

    • @AngelMartinez-qs3cf
      @AngelMartinez-qs3cf 3 роки тому

      @@bustercampfiresongs Yeah, but that's point, I don't want to constantly detune or re-tune the guitar. That's why I think some players have many guitars for that reason to avoid doing it. Whether, It's Open G, Open E, Drop D, DADGAD.

    Hi great review! I have a question... It's possible to connect this device to a speaker to get the sound instead of headphones? Like i have a JBL GO 2 portable, it's possible to connect somehow this device to this speaker to have the sound there?
