John Fury was right, they put on a better show than a fair few title fights I've seen. I've been sceptical of this fight since it was announced but they both went out there and gave it their all, nothing but respect.
The fact Tommy fury was troubled by Jake Paul says in spades that he is a useless boxer. If Tommy fury wins a British title that will be well beyond his capabilities

@@thenevshow3573 Anyone with their head screwed on knew Fury won that very easily. The judge that scored it for Paul should never be allowed near a boxing ring again.
I scored it 6-2 to Tommy on the night and watching it back the only debate is whether it was actually 7-1. Without the slip/knockdown it was essentially a shutout.
This was exactly what he was planning, people are so easily swayed by this dude! Tommy needed to draw or slightly win not KO not UD. Jake needed credibility provided by losing to a Fury. So the bookies result was a draw or a slight win for Tommy which is exactly what we got.
It surprises me that Fury is this happy with the win. Should’ve been a walk in the park for him and undeniably a unanimous decision in his favor offcourse! Would’ve liked to see Jake being knocked out by the way😴
The issue is that Tommy naturally doesn't have power, he rarely gets KO wins against journeymen, and Jake’s proven to naturally have a good chin so it's obvious that Tommy was going to straight outbox him all night with his pillow hands and win a decision. (which should have been UD)
@@MikeOxlong-uj6yolook how young Tommy is 😳 being so good at such a young age, he's the most accurate I've seen anyone in these youtube boxing matches. I wouldn't call those pillow hands, watching these youtubers box made me think I could also try but watching how accurate Tommy is I'm scared.
Think people mistook Tommy's inability to put away journeyman pro fighters (whose goal is not being knocked out), for an inability to chalk up plenty of rounds with technique and reach and actually knowing what he's doing.
Exactly. They also forget that MMA isnt boxing. Anderson silva has his hands down everytime he fights and woodley is a wrestler with an overhand. Tommy with a solid jab made jake look 1 dimensional

Tommy is a career boxer, Jake is a youtuber and recently a career boxer. Tommy winning was actually expected, I find it very hard to understand how the bookies had him as an under dog. Jake earned my respect though, he went toe to toe with a career boxer and held his own, got hammered, but held his own. A bit more conditioning and training he could be a good boxer, I have no doubt he will be one day, he seems determined enough. Respect to both fighters, it takes a certain amount of courage to go out on front of millions of people and fight.

How anyone could say it was even at round seven is mind boggling. Fury was ahead by at least 3 rounds by then. Everyone in the sport now is corrupt even commentators. And how one judge gave the fight to Jake is insulting. I respect what Paul has done. I don't like him but at the end of the day. All he is doing is what we are all trying to do with our life's. Make a name for ourselves and make money. Nothing wrong with that on his part.
