Just got a Drz400sm bout a month ago. These are some solid tips. Been out on some trails once and the one thing I’d say above anything is it’s much more physical than someone who doesn’t ride would think. I work trades, out in the southeast US sun all day (last week we hit a real feel of 114f with like 80% humidity) , and I was EXHAUSTED afterwards. It takes a lot more effort to force that bike around than you would think.
@@TheAtticNinja can't agree more! I sometimes get comments like "it's easy cos the engine does all the work" and people saying it's not proper exercises! 90 mile trail rides are tiring, but 1 hour of getting deliberately stuck in the forrest and fighting your way up steep slopes and over fallen trees absolutely exhaustes me! Enjoy the bike man, ride safe 👊
Totally agree, I’m there breathing like I’m sprinting fighting with my Yamaha wr125r and when she tips over and she does 🤣 hard work the weight on these bikes are no joke
@@MudSlingMX Looks like a great bike to be fair, just did my theory so planning on passing and then getting a different bike any recommendations if you could get a bigger cc?
@@leatippings7479 if you ride enduro and want a good off road bike, get a ktm 300 exc, it will be best thing u ever do, especially as soon they will ban production of 2 strokes, so second hand market will go crazy abd we will never afford one, so it's an investment! But yeah 300 exc with mouses and mitchelin mediums, then get the suspension tuned to your weight, will be the best fun you ever have, go check out my video where I got to ride one it was insane!!
Nice video, thanks!
@@senyah750 cheers! Glad u like it
Good tips 👍 👌

@@leatippings7479 yeah thats the main reason I got the rieju, I feel like I'd reached the limits of what I could do on my wr, proper heavy bikes 😅
