My only concern is longevity and maintenance.

Most people trade long before a car is even broken in. Who cares about longevity and maintenance. You hardly see anything on the road much older than an 2016 in any brand.

While generally I'm not to much of a fan of black out trims on vehicles, I think on this Envista in that gray color it looks sharp.

Seen both in person... and honestly I like the ST trim better u cannot beat the blacked out rims and trim... the chrome on the av does gives it more of a luxury look but makes the car look older to me.

This is more likely city car , if drive carefully for local personal use this car should be okay for atlist 100k plus miles, i just bought 2 days ago & so far it's amazing on road , only the issue it is so hard to get specially envista models in white color , they have planty encore gx but not envista, also Buick envista offer some package for 84 month also to cover almost everything from all electronic parts to transmission, of course it's cost a little extra but due to this is Korean made so i purchase extra warranty plan with car

I didn't even know Buick was still alive.

I think the one reason to get at least a ST is the leather instead of cloth. Looks better and just easier to clean

I like this car quite a lot. Like others have said, I'm not yet comfortable with a 3-cyl turbo engine. I'd prefer a conventional "na" 4 with or without hybrid. It seems the usual inherent smoothness and quietness of a hybrid would complement this car well, but I realize that would probably not hit the price target. Still, good job GM, and like the original Encore, this car will sell well, but won't be a star among the "enthusiast" set. Thanks fine.

How about the Preferred Trim? Every dang video on UA-cam is about the higher trims... SMH

I made mention of that same thing on another Envista video. I can tell you that the option packages can get you right around $28K. I think it depends on if you go fully loaded or not. When I built mine (Preferred), it got just shy of $26K. I enjoyed my test drive, but I am going back. I decided to get the ST instead due to ground clearance for my bad knees (larger tires will lift the car a tad). The ride was smooth and quieter than I expected. No, you're not going to win any races, but that is not what that car is about. It will get you where you need to go with some really nice features in tow. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of the trims. Lastly, I didn't sit in Avenir, but I suspect the seats are going to be more comfortable than the Preferred and the Sport Touring. Go ahead and schedule a test drive if you're interested. Judge for yourself.

@@Cruzan9 Thanks for the detailed response. I actually test drove the preferred vehicle already but unbelievably I knew more about the vehicle than anyone at the Buick Dealership. I still have loads of questions. I heard in one video that the ST and Avenir have a different suspension and I'm so confused. Buick makes no mention of this. I'm really craving a top to bottom comparison of the preferred and all the different optional packages.

Watts link rear suspension is not available on the Preferred ,standard on Avenir , optional on ST including 19" wheels also standard on Avenir. Sort of semi- independent so should feel more secure & ride better in corners as each rear wheel is less affected by a pothole or bump on the other .@@killbill2x

Driving a 3 cylinder sucks if you like being left as slow tortoise in the slow lane ha ha ha😂

Please stop praising a car that has a tiny 3 cylinder motor ! It's embarrassing ! Real men want power ! Real women also want a kick ass motor dude ! Sure, it's got features galore, so what ! We want power in reserve for passing and going up mountains with the whole family and all their luggage! ! Stop this insanity right now ! It's pathetic. It's unacceptable. It's an underpowered car, and you know it !

Not everyone wants a jacked up truck to make up for their lack of manhood.

If you're looking for a muscle car this ain't it. If you just want a smooth classy ride that doesn't break the bank with good fuel economy, this might be for you. I just leased one. It has plenty enough zip to get on the highway and tool around town.
