Your review of the Envista is the best I've seen among the dozens of reviews on this car. Now I clearly understand what's available on the different models and packages to walk into the dealership and tell them exactly what I want. Thank you!
Bought my Envista Preferred about a week ago, and I haven’t stopped getting compliments. I have just the Convenience 1 package and the car is more than enough. Now, a power lift gate and a moonroof aren’t important features to me, so I didn’t go for them. The biggest feature is the style, and people have been remarking how stylish my car is. For me, that was my biggest upgrade, so I’m very happy.
The Preferred trim you tested also had the Advanced Safety Package. The spare is a mini-spare, not full size. I think the Preferred trim is the way to go. The extra $5,000 for the Avenir is not worth it for what it adds. I drove them all and bought the Preferred. Got mine fully optioned for $24,200.(sticker was $26,475) I’m 6’1” and am completely comfortable in all seats, front and back.
My husband and I decided on the ST simply because he likes the exterior trim a little better. We also feel the Avenir isn't worth the extra $. We're getting ours with the Convenience I and II and Advanced Safety packages, and the sticker is $28,075, so we're gonna come in a little over $26k.
I would def buy one. Looking to get rid of Maz cx5 , was going to get a Tesla but this is 20k cheaper than model y and the interiors are much nicer than most vehicles it looks like. No ev can save you 20k in gas in 5 yrs
@@badele80I just bought one yesterday, avenir package. Thing is fully loaded and beautiful and I paid 28k for it. Been driving full size pickups for the last 7 yrs and I love this thing so far.
@@jameswheeler815 I have the sport package all black black wheels...yes it's so beautiful and I love how it drives. Just keeps growing on me. I look forward to driving! Congrats! On the new car!!! Enjoy it 💜
This video definitely earned a Sub, but I will say this: I wish you took each trim out for a drive, maybe to see if different trims make the drive quieter or if different features really made a difference when you take it out in the road.
Excellent review - the whole car offers excellent possibilities at a decent price. Thank you for the effort to really share your own ideas and looking at the trim levels closely - you do a very good job.
Buick is one of the best American brands, it makes the hardest working car in the world and its new design is really unique and young, I have had a Buick for almost eight years and I am very happy ❤ ❤ Of course, your introduction is very complete and helpful
I wanted the avenir but it doesn't have it in the copper metallic color I want so i will probably settle for the Sport Touring and give up that back seat cup holder 🥴🤦🏽♀️🤣
Thank you for comparing all the trims, I personally would go with the avenir trim kind of sucks they don’t have vents in the rear I have two young kiddos and would like them to have ac vents in the rear
Given the small passenger compartment and the excellent large capacity A/C ventilation system this vehicle has - rear vents really aren't all that necessary. Many of us recall large cars from the past with only three A/C vents up front and we survived hot weather in the back seat just fine.
I’m hoping that Buick comes out with an option for the 1.3L engine, not so much for the additional power, but because it uses a timing chain and counter-balancer/oil pump chain instead of the “wet” belts used in the 1.2L engine. The 1.3L is also more powerful…
Amazing review! but I dont think you can add a moonroof to the preferred Trim. There is no experience Buick package available for preferred Trim neither is available as a ad-on (like the avenir Trim)
Great video . Shame Buick will be ending the ICE option such great designs they will be the next on the chopping block going EV , GM EV sales are tanking Buick will be first to go in USA / Canada anyways . Sad news for a iconic name plate in North America.
@@daheisman11 Turbo charged engines wear out faster than naturally aspirated engines, even when well maintained. It's sorta like a sunroof, except that the glass on a sunroof can be opened all the way while a moon roof just opens a little (vertically in the front) and vents the air coming in.
Companies being forced into EVs by govt mandate is the end. Not everyone wants an EV and the demand wont be high enough to sell them all. A lot of cars are gonna sit on the lot for a long time and we may witness the end of the big 3 American automakers. Its sad.
@@ricksand6477 No I would say they need atleast 160 hp give or take . You dont want to get ran over trying to get on the highway with these crazy fast driving morons out here.
Right... let's see what other automakers are going ALL electric and when. Jaguar (2025) Alfa Romeo (2027) Chrysler (2028) BUICK (2030) Cadillac (2030) Genesis (2030) Lexus (2030) Mazda (2030) Mercedes-Benz (2030) Volvo (2030) Audi (2033) Chevrolet (2035) GMC (2035) Mitsubishi (2035) Honda (2040) Other companies that have no set deadline to go all EV (Ford, BMW, Toyota, Nissan, VW, etc.,) expect 80% to 100% of their vehicle sales to be EV by 2040 at the latest. So it would appear that since almost every major car manufacturer in the world is going to stop making gas vehicles entirely by the middle of the next decade (at the latest) tell me again how Buick going all EV is idiotic.
👍👍 It's sunny and hot in Hawai'i so I like cloth seats better than vinyl or leather. If I can still have the moon roof in the Preferred trim, it's a done deal because I also ❤ this coupe/hatchback styling!
I said it before and I'll say it again real car people want go to a car show open a hood and see a real engine not a battery what has happened to this awesome form of transportation ?

Will definitely have to drive one. The tiny engine is one concern but love how the car looks and the prices seem fair

Best review of this car yet! Thank you so much for clearly differentiating among the trim levels. Now, I know exactly what I want if I decide to buy.
There's vents under the two front seats, that blow into the rear of the vehicle.
Best review. I didn’t know there was a Envista Preferred.
These OEMs are hilarious when they say this is the last gas engine we're making😅 no it's not

Bingo!! Every car over 25k should have backseat vents

There was a 60k midsize truck without ac vents a couple years ago. Might have been Canyon denali. Just nuts @Diego-oy6en
I'm going to lease the ST in a couple months. This thing just has such great features, looks, and price.
Got my envista in sunrise red at this same dealer a couple of weeks ago.... Loving it so far.

Amazing review! but I dont think you can add a moonroof to the preferred Trim. There is no experience Buick package available for preferred Trim neither is available as a ad-on (like the avenir Trim)
You are correct. The “Experience Buick Package” (which is the only package that includes a moonroof) is available only on the ST and Avenir trims.
This is nice hopefully I can buy one of these in a couple of years
Is it 23.495$ or 26.495$ as shown in a sign while you were saying 23

Do any trims have vents in the back

What are all these "buu-inns" you keep pointing to?
They're playing with the ki-uhns (meow) near the mou-uhns (Alps).
LED tail lights??
A small engine with a turbo. Long-term, this will almost certainly be a maintenance nightmare.
How so? Could you explain for us ?

Sunroof

Very narrow front seats compared to any other vehicle.

These companies going all in EVs (like Ford & GM) will fail. The fact is they just aren't selling. People will buy hybrids.
Yes I’d much rather a hybrid.

1.2 engine ? 3 cylinder ? No way

Last Buick ICE because they going out of business if they go all EV
