The rant starting at 1:38:20 is pure gold! It speaks to my soul and it's 100% fucking true. Spread the word man.
@@fishlips8336 So what? Do you have any idea how much good the BRCC guys do for the veteran community with their company? Do you think anyone buying their coffee is not aware that they are paying extra just for that (even though the coffee IS amazing)? You know, paying a little extra to support those who need/deserve it is actually how advanced society is supposed to work. It's like socialism, only without socialism, and actually functioning.
Darn right !!
I fucking loved it! Whoo!!
Amen!
Thank you Mike for continuing to support our country. You may not be fighting for us but now you are helping people regain invaluable information and self confidence that has been generally lost for decades.
Thats the very first skill i taught my son when he was about 8 yrs old and my buddies where going up hunting and i couldn't go because of work and they took him up but i got the report back that he spent 2 hours trying to make fire and they had the patience to let him on his own to do it so but he got it done. I was impressed that he spent so long and didn't give up and was so proud along with my buddies watching. He was using a ferro rod but still he committed in his task and achieved his goal which was badass
Thats awesome. Sounds like you have good friends 👍
Oh boy, better never divorce your wife. Kiddo might switch daddies....
That is awesome! Great friends and sounds like youre doing a good job in raising up a great man! Few people have the patience or knowledge in letting things that time actually take up some time!
Its easier and faster to just "move, let me do that"..... But its a huge benefit in more than one way to let a person struggle a bit and have to think and make adjustments themselves in order to succed
Literally just finished watching a Mike Glover podcast on Cleared Hot, just saw this on my front page on UA-cam, awesome.
Yup!! Same.. and I'm so glad I did!
These guys are legit!
And ole mike here is a real man that some of us can try and incorporate his morals and strategies.
I'm with it my guy!
Same here Im excited my shit was dry lol
Me too. Great week for podcasts.
Man, Cleared Hot has quickly become my favorite podcast out there!
Edit: Danger Close with Jack Carr is also up there
Mike Glover has been on Cleared Hot three times now. If you haven't listened to all of them you should take a listen. Glover and Stumpf are great on there own, but when they do a podcast together it is fantastic. They work well together.
Mike Glover is needed in education. 100% REAL TALK.
Hell YEAH! I love when Mike and Evan get together.
I really do get excited when I see ole mike here do interviews. I always hope he tells some stories.
I bet hanging out with this dude would change most men's lives!
Glover is always interesting to listen to.
This gave me a couple hrs of happiness during this 12hr nightshift. Thank you Evan and Mike for great conversation.
The world lives comfortably because of night shift. Thank you for your service
@@riffedwood5597 well thanks buddy, but I don't do anything special. I'm just a refinery worker. Lol.
I listen to every single episode! I love all of the content.
Great interview. Two studs who care about family and country. Need more of you guys!
I'm of the best podcast I have heard in the last 12 months. Great job guys
40:00 ish area. These guys are talking about RPDM. Recognition Primed Decision Making. Studied this and wrote a paper on it 12 years ago when I went through Fire Instructor school. Pretty interesting subject and a term not used much. However it fits, basically in a crisis /high stress situation you will only preform what you know or have trained. You will never be creative and start something new in a crisis/high stress situation.
1:23:30 the original "Law" was the RIGHTS instilled by Second Amendment...... the problem is We The People undermine the Second Amendment when need a Law to define it...... We The People need to change the language. Concealed Carry permit is stealing our Rights and selling them back to We The People....
Just had to say this, preach it Mike and Evan great podcast so much insight and information thank you for staying true to your values teach you children all they need to survive when they only have themselves to rely on such as making a fire boiling water and staying warm awesome ❤❤❤❤
Always great to hear Evan talk with another great American,Mr Glover if your ever in Southern AZ and need anything, hit me up
One of the best conversations I have heard in years! Thank you Gentlemen.
Mike Glover is probably the biggest bad ass on the podcast circuit among the special ops community. Dude has done it wall with the best units in the world and stays incredibly humble about it. I’m a huge fan of his and BRCC. Wish Mike all the best. The
I actually took notes about the concious and competence parts. What a great way to look at the learning process!
Thank u to both of you. Enjoy listening to both of your podcast.
Last 5-10 minutes of this podcast is golden!!!
Absolutely - points so often lost on so many.
Never been in the military but worked in the Sheriff's Dept. Routine is discipline and important, But the chaos in the field is the real training. You need both to work the job. But being adaptable in the field is the reallity. I value Mike's insight very much.
Terrific conversation guys, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.
Fire for effect. Love that commerical.
Id love to see Evan and crew join field craft on part of their Lewis and Clark trip and do a river raft portion with an old school raft.
Damn super thoughtful gift of the year award!! Seems like a perfect gift for Mr. Hafer. Lol from my very limited outside/UA-cam perspective that is.
Edit: the very end of the podcast confirmed my hunch about that book being the perfect gift for Mr. Hafer lol. This podcast was the perfect gift to cap off a long, arduous and productive Sunday. I know you two are probably too busy to do these podcasts more often, but I still have to say that it would be awesome. Hope y'all have a great week. I am honestly and truly grateful for the knowledge, perspective, inspiration and entertainment you two just freely shared with the world. Thank you for the excellent opportunity to decompress and reinvigorate myself for the new week ahead!
Yeahhhhh Mike! He's a legit dude. Can't wait!
Mike is, Evan isn't. Evan sold out conservatives/right.
Damn, this podcast is one of the best that I have listened to in a while. Nicely done gents!
I’d say the “prepper” stigma has been squashed thanks to the dumpster fire of a year we’ve all just experienced.
Great that you have Mike back on the podcast! You should make this a regular series :)
38:00 min mark about the sectors of fire. I use this with my kids and it works. (I'm a retired Infantry MSG) If I tell them to clean their room, they stand in their doorway vapor-locked. Zero movement. If I tell them to clean and put away all the stuff from "This wall to your nightstand" and then come find me, I get results. Then I give them another little bite of the room. 11B Riflemen = 6-12 year olds! LOL!
Mike seems like an awesome friend and all around awesome guy.
Great conversation!
Awesome podcast as always. You guys put on a great show together. Really enjoy what Mike is doing.
Much respect thank u guys for everything u guys do I appreciate u,have something for everyone to think about here whose trying to change things in this country? and make people live a certain way? I'm not talking about salt lake city I was baptized young and do not follow there beliefs but I do follow Jesus and wonder who is trying to make who change there way of living schools, big company's,government jobs, there all being pushed one way and I'm sure u know which way that's going I understand u r trying to b in the middle but please bring this up next time if u do believe it don't b afraid of losing clients, money love u guys keep it up your doing good work and helping people all over👊
one of the best podcast ive heard in a long time!
Double action Mike, double action! Great podcast, good stuff.
With the topic of people rolling up and freezing. I work in an emt field and it's exactly like you guys mentioned. A good fix is to take their choice away. Say stuff like "what hospital are you going to." Instead of "do you want to go to the hospital." It is interesting to see people on their worst day and seeing how they react
I was just mentioning how it's interesting to see people lock up, and how in that state the different ways they react to instructions
Always enjoy hearing Mike. Just finished his interview with Adam on Cleared Hot. Mike is a wealth of knowledge especially for us civilians. Love what Mike said on gun control. You guys know what countries without a well armed populous can become. 100% right that a well armed populous will prevent a government from becoming too controlling. Both groups left and right try to use the government to take the other side’s rights away. People shouldn’t care what other people do if it doesn’t effect them.
My local gun range does, what they call, a competition called "Practical Shooting" where they setup cardboard targets in random scenarios. Each participant gets to walk through and shoot targets with rules given for each scenario, like numbers of rounds per target, head shot or body shots, etc. Doing these courses quickly helped me understand many things I lacked. Things like how my guns weren't going to do the job due to loading issues, the way I handled the weapon, and many other things. Take your training to another level people, open your ears, study better ways to draw and shoot and grip your weapon. Practice.
Happy I found this, really good shit guys!
I think, at least for me, making a fire and learning those primitive skills helps a person understand who they are and where they come from. It teaches gratitude, and understanding what is truly important: food, water, shelter... in a world of confusion, distraction and pettiness.
Nice
Cool thing that Battle Springs Ranch, and places like it, not that there's any place quite like it, but it's cool that there are now places available for real immersion training.
Evan that book a classic you looked really happy
Great dudes, great podcast.
Great show, loved M.G.’s final speech was fucking awesome. More of the same, positive, focus on your life, the positive and focus on PEOPLE, WE THE PEOPLE.
I love Mike! Thanks for having him on Evan! You both are helping me refine my political views by the way whether you mean to or not!
You guys rock. Can't wit until I have the money saved to come out and take some courses at Fieldcraft Survival
Mike is awesome. We need a FRA podcast with Kevin Owens from Feildcraft, he is a very interesting dude.
Co sign!
Thank you guys , that was awesome
Great episode! Survival stuff is always good!
Another guy you should have on from Utah is Matt Graham. He was on "Dual Survival" and "Dude, You're Screwed".
I second this. Matt is high level primitive skills expert as well as a long distance runner. Considering our evolution as persistence hunters Matt is a good example of that. Lots to learn from him
Blew my mind. Awesome
I love Glover. What a boss
Mike Glover gets it and can talk it.
"Smaller government means smaller government."
Spot-on, Evan. And kudos for pointing out how both sides of our stupidly simplistic political divide are contributing to the erosion of that.
You need to travel with your training. Spread it those unable to travel need to get this feeling, this training. We have a great conservation club stjoeph co, Michigan.
Really enjoyable listen. Can we get this team up more often?
Hell yeah. The end was great. You guys are welcome to stop by my house anytime for a beer, coffee or what ever. Great session 👍👍
It’s funny you mention “blackboard”. All of my classes for college have been on blackboard since going remote at the onset of covid.
If you have the time to become an autodidact; check out M.O.O.C.s, massive open online courses. You can take full courses from prestigious institutions for free.... and can get the credits once its paid.
I enjoy learning for free, with no intent or need to pay.
I need to look into these survival classes that mike speaks of.
Awesome, thanks so much
As many have said: I see Mike G-lover and I click
1:13:33 I would love to hear more about that genetic info... sounds interesting. Great conversation!
-🔥🐻
Thought this whole podcast was the shit!!!! Love you guys!!!!!
Fire is light in the night, warmth and maybe some level of safety as well as independnace. During the day fire is not as invigorating and comforting. Fire in the brush outside your home is terror and at night you don't wake up you are gone.
Outstanding.
This is 100% the why. 💪💪🇺🇸
As a lover & geek of old nonfiction books, Shackelton and much more, bravo!!! 'Love this pcast. Also, book called "A World Lit Only By FIre"....you may enjoy. All stars are fire. Moonlight is reflected fire. Please keep up your excellent work. Shine on....so to speak. Hugs.
Great Job Guy's !!
Glover is my spirit animal
Can you show the link for the article that Caffeine aides with TBI?
Amazing talk guys!
So great !!
Liking the conversation at 1:10 or so...I don’t have the same background, no military or LE experience/training, so I’ve invested more in training and paid a relatively modest price for firearms, totally functional, but not Gucci. Thanks for helping me avoid a big pile of cognitive dissonance 😂.
Evan is the shit. LOL. I love to listen to him talk. It just does it for me lol. He is a cool duxe
I went to Shackleton Hut near McMurdo in Antarctica. Epic
Fire is the essence of wisdom .
How do I post a snippet of this. Gosh - so many great little 15-30 second mic drops for the people in the back!
Listening to the Shackleton Expedition on AudioBooks
So many people mistakenly believe they will rise to the occasion and be able to survive. Every person will always sink to the level of their training when they are pushed.
2:30 if you could time travel which expeditions would to participate in...... Admiral Bird to Antartica
But dem nazi ufos was der member?
Is there a recommended trainer in the San Antonio/Boerne area of Texas?
This happens in situations even at a party where a guy pulled out a gun and another guy grabbed it and they started fighting I ran out the back door and jumped the fence but other people and girls just froze and fainted. It's flight or fight. And I wasn't trying get accidently shot. My friend who stayed their because he was passed out drunk and woke up said that girls were passed out from fear or crying.
Y’all are awesome drink y’all’s coffee everyday it’s good stuff keep doin what your doin. Your subscription coffee needs more choices tho👍👍
I want to hear about which service has the best magic trick.
BIG MIKE!
I love fish too!
At least it’s not just me who thinks teaching my 2 & 3 year olds basic survival skills from Fire to collecting water effectively is a good idea 💡😎😎😎
Just Black is great french pressed, but a medium coarse grind for me.
I think fear is natural. cowards and a hero feel the same thing but react differently. I used to get picked to box some older kids at the skate park after a while of getting punched in the face you get used to it and the nervous fear fades. One summer day I remember fighting this guy (3 years older than me) I faked a right cross he put his gloves up and as soon as his gloves came down I hit him with a left jab a right cross and his legs buckled he fell flat. It felt so weird time slowed and I got the better of him. I was pissed cause I was forced to fight to fit in with the older crowd even tho I was young. Adverse conditions breed a diverse solution, so fear can be killed by the mentality of saying that's all you got? So training that nerve of fear and to use it as a tool is the goal I believe.
It’s 1130 and Mike looks like he just woke up. That Wolf21 must be workin. 🐺 21.
Hopefully evan gets a CCT from the 24th sts come through soon. If anything slayderaider from GBRS group whos an ex devgru guy would be a great guest.
Helllll ya BRCC n Mike Glover non better
mike freakin glover man.
Awesome
Often Wrong, Never In Doubt....Javelin Family Picnic....Shoot Your Tank Safely....Leadership Lessons Of Shackleton....Brilliant AF.....
When will we have Fieldcraft Blend? 😉
Hell yeah 100k subscribers 👊 congrats
Whoo. Amen brudda. Preach
1:36:24 yeah , I never got how people got that message mixed up? Mike literally said those words when he broadcasted amcon in the first set of publications. He saw people weren’t doing shit for themselves and felt empathy. However O know for a fact cause I find this in myself at times the bad eggs should keep you from the path of doing good for the sake of humanity and ones own humanity 🇺🇸❤️
Spot on Mike! there should be NO Gun Laws AT ALL! 2A is a Thing! Govt overstep is outta control! We The People Need to remember our Power Together - Enuf of the BS. / Ty for ur service - God Bless / 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸
The conversation around 50:00 brings up a problem in the current climate. People seeking out and looking for advanced training other than basic flatland range time they run into a problem where it becomes very much increasingly cost prohibitive to people who just want any kind of basic firearms experience other than just shooting on a range. These guys that run these classes charged such an exorbitant fee that it puts it out of the range for most people seeking any kind of training.
1:45 = Longest commercial ever...LOL
