I had the chance to watch some races. It is sad, those will never come again. The sound was brutal, the cars were beautiful in comparison to the today's cripple
@@user-xd6dx3ws8h Said it to someone the other day, this era of cars just look so agile and rapid compared to the modern cars. I daresay, that if ANY of the current crop of drivers attempted the same in cars under the same rules of 2001, NONE of them could beat Michael! Yes, that includes the overrated Hamilton!!!!!

@gangoffour6690 Senna was without question the best ninja 1 hot lap. As far as complete race package, senna was not close to schumacher. Senna wasn't close to prost as a complete race package either. RIP Senna the 1 lap specialist.

@Viggo Villsvin haha okay he would destroy any driver in the field today with their DRS and that, half of them cant even handle the rain let alone compete with him.
Viggo Villsvin oh not at all, I agree 100%. But that’s exactly why he’d beat anyone in today’s field with ease, cos he could make the sport look so simple and easy on a way they never could. Look at the context of my comments next time 👀

As a ferrari fan, it hurts to watch this video. Best car in the grid, best driver (ever).... Nowadays we have a terrible car, a good driver with a lot of potential (Leclerc) and a driver that was good a long time ago (Vettel). Nowadays we can only win by luck.
When comparing formula 1 "now to then" you have to consider that nowadays the racing cars are regulated to hell. It won't be long until everyone is forced to use one and the same regulated car with one and the same regulated android driver with one and the same regulated android OS installed in them. Racing nowadays is nothing compared to the old days. I hate it that I didn't live the formula 1 of the 70s myself.
@@Metatr0n they were in the past too. cars back then were made slower on porpurse, not just by the engine itself. Rilled tires were used because they were afraid full slicks could be too dangerous. look at the speed of those cars without the modern downforce and DRS.
This era of cars (early 2000s) are some.of the most beautiful ever imo
92, 93 were gorgeous. That 93 McLaren was my fave

Goosebumps anyone ?
that engine....... and the downforce PORN
Me 🥰
absolutely yes. while every driver at that time failed to break schumi time, he managed to set up new faster time.
Got the chills as well.
Shatters the morale, lol. One of his best performances. The only one who could beat Schumi was Schumi doing another lap.
Schumacher era was the Gold era of f1. Never coming back, these moments ❤
Nobody able to beat Michael's time.
Michael: How about I beat my own time?
The engine sound of Michael´s engine´s car is incredible..
*Montoya after driving a great lap* "why do I hear boss music? "
Racing drivers in that era: 'Uff, I just drove the lap of my life!'
Michael: 'Start my engine'
How did Alonso say‘d once? If Schumacher has a bad Day, its hard to beat him, if he has a good day, its almost impossible.

lol, it is crazy how visibly oversteery schumacher's car is, the way it rides over the bumps and the rear end is just ready to snap out
Schumacher at his peak would demolish today's current F1 grid no questions asked
