    Great customer Matthew, i really like the positive contact (compliments) as you approach people. This stuff is taught in sales training but you naturally have it.

    I paid for the premium brakes because them come with new hardware. Parker opens the box. DOOOUUUUGHHHHH No hardware!! Reminds me of my favorite customer with the thermostat with no seal on the Old Buick Lucerne. Damn Oreillys!!!!!

    Where I’m from it’s so hard to find trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanics I’ve had so many bad experiences and wasted a lot of money on shitty work. Wish you were close enough because I could definitely use a mechanic like yourself. Keep up the great work my dude people like you are hard to find.

      No its not, they just dont take new clients, after developing a decent client base of good customers. The reason you cant find them is that they dont want to be found. Its hard to find good customers, and once you do there is no going back to working for the general public. Your mechanic wont take your calls to work on your hoopty because he fired you as a customer for taking him for granted and being a doodoo client with a rustbucket car that belongs in the scrapyard

    I learned it as “bedding the brakes” but yep, a couple runs 35-0. Then a couple runs 50-0.

    Floor Jacks are prone to fail/tilt/roll over. Floor Jacks are a good idea for added safety.

      It's like $80 or so here in Europe for name brand parts (Brembo, Ate etc.) and maybe 30 minutes of easy diy work ...

    I'd like to give ya a tip on brake changes and making them easier to fit tools in there. Turn the steering all the way to the left for passenger side now you should have plenty of room to get a breaker bar or impact and a heck of an easier time and day.

    I replaced the front rotors & pads on the front of my Holden Commodore & the right hand front brake still squeaks sometimes.
    I am thinking that there may be some wear in the front brakes caliper guide bolt holes in the caliper mounting bracket & they're not available brand new anymore,it does wear in the inside of the rotor like that as well !

    Hey #Matt After a couple of bouts with the hardware missing from brake pads, I'd start having O'Reilly's check the box before you leave. They can do their own Quality Control (QC).

    Never set new rotors and brakes.... didn't even brake clean them properly.... still work fine... I wonder what is a myth and what is real.

    Snap on makes a great 17MM low profile wobble socket 1/2 for Subaru however I use mine for all those annoying 17’s where the strut bolt is in the way

    You don't see that much anymore 🤔 using Brake Cleaner. I worked in a brake shop couple years ago and when they ran out, they just kept changing brakes for the rest of the week or month without Brake Cleaner (for the rotors) smh One of the reasons i quit📌🫡
