So it’s not just the trucking vlogs, I legit fucks with Dave, I’ve watched 8 videos of him driving an old car across country through another country with as much interest as I did his trucking vlogs. This guy is just naturally dope and make anything entertaining

Yea Dave, you don't have to worry about snakes. But one thing they don't tell you to keep an eye out for is Velociraptors. They are all over Alaska. That is why the population of Alaska is so small.

8:26 Thats what used to be Duffy's Bar and Cafe. My grandparents lived in that area for 20 years before they moved to Wasilla and my Grandma worked there before they closed down.. I have a lot of memories in that building (You are only seeing the bar half as the other half had to be taken out because it was sinking bad)

Hey Dave glad you're definitely enjoying your time in Alaska. You should definitely hit the dutch harbor they have the crab fishing boats for the show on discovery while you're there in Alaska.
Fun fact, Valdez, Alaska gets the most snow out of any city/town in the US. It averages 305 inches of snow per year, and 70 inches of rain per year.

One of my brothers was stationed at Fort Wainwright Alaska. The first thing you'll run into in Valdez is either a Kwik Trip or a Walmart. Then you'll know you're in the USA.

Glad you are taking time to enjoy the journey. Go Focus Go (my everyday driver is a 2003 Focus - she runs to good to give up and honestly, who wants to drive an automatic???) Wait - you did Snoqualmie Pass in Washington - avalanche control is a regular event there that shuts down I-90 while they blow stuff up. Thanks for the ride-along, Dave!
I did so Snoqualmie once but it wasn’t during the winter so it was nice lol. And yeah next video is even more snow! Just wait

So glad you were able to do this trip for yourself. life flys by so fast. i had all this stuff i wanted to do during my younger days. never did most of them. getting married having kids and , and take care of your family doing what you have to do to survive and take care of them. then you wake up one day and your old. i woould never not want my family. but good for you to be able to follow dreams well you have the chance and the means to do so. sorry for the rambeling

Canada is great!🍁 Same feeling I get when I am in the US. This why Alaska isn't Canadian There are two main reasons. First, Canada wasn't its own country in 1867. Second, Great Britain controlled the Canadian colonies. Russia did not want to sell Alaska to its rival.
