I don't know if you will see this, Maria, but I just want to say that I'm so proud of you for knowing what you need for your mental health. I know it's never easy to lose a loved one, especially one as magical as Blue. It's so incredibly important to allow yourself to mourn in exactly the way you know how. We love you. We, too, miss Blue, and we are all here for you more than you know. 💙 💙💙
Having had a best doggie friend for 14 years and then he was killed. I understand what you are going through. He was a beagle and his name was Trapper. I still miss him like crazy and talk about him. He died 27 years ago but it seems like yesterday. Love and hugs. Miss Thang will dry your tears and give you kisses because she is missing Blue also. Love and hugs to both of you.❤❤❤❤
I'm so proud of you for videoing your trip! I know it has to be so hard to get back into the swing of things without your side kick, and best friend Blue! Thank you so much for sharing your trip through Ireland with us, it's so beautiful and magical! I'm glad you got to make memories with your beautiful Mama! 💞🌹
The eggs in Europe are not refrigerated because unlike in the US, they are _not_ washed. As such, they retain a natural protective barrier which helps prevent spoiling. Glad to see you back. So sorry about Blue.
The UK and Europe also vaccnte their chickens from salmonella. Many in the UK and Europe still refrigerate their eggs anyway. Especially younger ppl. Doesn't hurt to, even keeps them longer.
eggs are not refrigerated in Brazil too like I mean you could put them in there but it’s not gonna make much of a difference?? I never knew that was the reason 😂😂 my American friend also told me she thinks it’s odd that in Brazil grocery stores milk are also not refrigerated but in that case it has to be refrigerated just once you’ve opened I thought it was like that everywhere… living and learning 😂
Blue literally lived every day in dog heaven, thanks to you, Maria, and your adventures. Wherever Blue is now, he must be like “been there, done that!”
My husband, love of my life, 37 years together… just died with no warning four months ago in his mid fifties. I feel like I will never be whole again. Huge grief comes from huge love xxx

You know, of course, that we invented scenery, and coffee, and roads, and castles, and holy places, and healing! As an Irish subscriber I was so filled with joy at seeing you explore my back yard - nice to see you in settings familiar to me, and my old college at Trinity! Glad your lovely Mum joined you too. Sending you healing prayers and thoughts, cead mile beannacht (a hundred thousand blessings)! May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, the rain fall soft into your life, the sun shine warm upon your face, and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Eggs in Europe are not refrigerated because they are not washed and therefore the shell is completley intact (it's something about the makeup of the shell), which prevents them from going bad in the store.

I have never posted on anyone’s channel before, I’ve been living vicariously through your adventures for about 6 months now. I’m 52 and once my adult kids get some stability I plan on venturing out to fulfill my dreams. I cried when I heard about Blue, it’s so difficult when we lose our best friend. I cried again seeing the surprise was your sweet momma. So thankful your mom could join you and support you through your grief and adventure. Sending you a virtual hug!
Every time you snapped a picture I teared up because Blue was always posing for you. I almost didn't watch because it is so sad. I feel so bad for you but also want to keep supporting you. Your trip is good for you Maria. I hope you find some comfort knowing Blue is not suffering and is in the arms of God.
So happy to see you back online Maria. Truly, sorry for the loss of blue.. The worst thing about having such a loveable companion in your life is the fact that they don’t live as long as we do. However, that wonderful dog had some of the greatest experiences in life because of who you are and the way you live.. there are so many animals out there that never get to live such a glorious life like you gave blue. Once again, I am truly sorry for the loss of your companion and best friend. RIP Blue… You couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place to get away to ….
I think you are doing the right thing in your grief by removing yourself from the space you shared with your loved one in order to grieve and get perspective. When my 15-year-old son died of cancer, I knew I needed to do that exact same thing, but I just couldn't, we had five other children, we couldn't afford to take them all and I certainly didn't want to leave them while they were in their grief as well. I was not easy. I am so glad that your Mom came to Ireland to be with you. That is so needed and such a blessing for you. May God continue to bless you as you grieve your loyal companion, Blue. We have all grown to love him as well, and grieve with you. What a gift he was to you. ❤
My condolences for your loss. I can't even comprehend the sense of loss you must be experiencing, but for what it's worth, I'm sending you love and just hope that you can help each other survive as a family. 💚💚
You dreaming about him is his way of showing you he’s with you still, even in this adventure. Very heartwarming. Thank you for sharing this vulnerability with us all.. it’s very relatable.
Grief is surprisingly so hard physically as well as emotionally. Just totally draining. Taking yourself on this trip is a gift. Blue is with you wherever you go. Beautiful photography. Thanks for taking us along.
I went to Ireland with my daughter, and it was the best experience. She is calls her dog Bubby, even though his name is Dutch. Blue is special. Thank you for your channel.
I love how old that is. The 6th Century. That's nuts. Such beautiful sights. My parents' house in California is 100 years old and it's the oldest house in our whole town lol.
Today is my Mom's birthday. She passed away 13 years ago and I miss her everyday. When you were at arrivals I was hoping your Mom would be coming to be with you, so special! Thank you for sharing her, Ireland and your wonderful adventures! 💙💙💙
I'm glad you are getting a change of scenery. I'm a funeral director, my fur baby passed right after Blue did, she was 13 but, I am still devastated. I thought I was prepared, I wasn't. I don't think that when you feel such love for another creature, that the loss can be anything but, heartbreaking. Keep caring for you and Taz and know that you'll be reunited with Blue someday. Sending you much love. 💛
We are heartbroken 💔. It makes me happy to see you healing with an adventure. My mom was born in Ireland so I am so happy to live vicariously through you . Enjoy beautiful soul . Kudos
I was in Ireland, not long ago, the biggest thing I was worried about driving on the left side of the road to my surprise I had no problems, no dent no scratches. Biggest thing was with the left hand getting used to shift gear,

Hey! I’ve been a silent watcher for a while but I just wanna say, I lost my pup of 14 years a couple of months ago and a word of advice, it doesn’t really get easier, but you come to terms with it and find comforting ways to cope. Nothing was harder than coming home after it happened to see her food, toys, and bed still out. It’s hard, it reallllllly is, gosh nobody prepares you for it, but it’s so warming to look back and think about all of the wonderful memories you made. Every time you find a little hair on your clothes even after they’ve passed, or see that smudge on the glass they used to stare out of, just know you gave him the best life possible and that he thought the world of you as you did him. Losing a life companion is a bitter sweet thing. ❤
As an Irish woman currently living in the UK, this was so exciting to see! My plan is to retire to Wicklow.. Truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. 💚🇮🇪💚🇮🇪
@@jjbiggmann5576 I actually spent all my school holidays in Cork when I was a kid... And it most certainly is beautiful, with amazing people too. I think the area my aunt lived was BlackRock or something similar... Does that ring a bell?? 🇮🇪💚

Hi Maria, like everyone else we are so sorry for your loss and also being pet parents can truly understand. Remember Blue’s baby sister misses him a lot as well. We look forward to seeing your adventures with her in the future.
Thank you for showing Ireland in such beautiful light. I hope being here helped you to heal your big loss of your dear fur pal. Glendalough is a very healing place, lots of spiritual connections, I hope it helped with your grief❤FYI: Glendalough is pronounced Glen Da Lock (the glen of two loughs)
Great video new subscriber from Ireland thanks for showcasing the beauty of our country and you and everyone else is always welcome with a open heart❤️🇮🇪
I lost my eyesight in my early 20s and January 11 of this year I put down my third Guide dog, I feel and understand your pain more than most people would ever know
Oh Maria my heart breaks for you at the loss of your handsome boy Blue. I too cannot stop crying, I miss Blue! He was a one of a kind dog and we all will miss him! God bless you Maria!.
Blue was such a good boy. He knew how loved he was. Man our fur babies really do leave a big gaping pit where they used to be...But I do believe they come back someday in another form or be there waiting for you when it's your time. Either way, you'll see him again and you'll know it's him.
Myself my husband and my pack send you love. We will also miss Blue all of us on your channel. Where is your other furbaby we all love her. Prayers be safe.❤❤❤❤
So sorry for your loss. My dog passed away 2 years ago. He was always in the van with us he loved it so much. The van is not the same with out him. Miss him so much. You should come back to Ireland again and go to achill island on the west coast it is our favourite place he loved it there to. Take care of yourself.
I think it’s alright to say, we your UA-cam family, are sitting in grief with you. Hope you can feel our prayers and support. How awesome to have Mom by your side, priceless ❤
I'm so proud of you. It can't be easy for you without Blue but I truly believe you will carrying with strength cuz you know that's what Blue would want you to do. My heart breaks for you but at the same time you'll be ok. You'll carry Blues legacy forever in your heart. We love you. ❤️
LOL! Cracked me up, hand sanitizer on the lips. Awesome adventure! If you write poetry I was thinking "Coffee And Castles" might be a good place to start!
I understand how you feel.. I am nearly 75yrs old and always had dogs. I lost my last three within the last 5 months and the lonelyness is the worst. My Lurcher was 14.5yrs, one of little Spitz was 15.5yrs and the other just 2 months off his 17th birthday. The house is empty, but I know that one day the memories will bring joy and not heartache. I just takes a while. x
I could feel it in the video, we can see how deeply you loved Blue. I hope you find comfort with baby sister & that this be a big bonding season for you and her 💙
Haven’t been watching long at all, but when I heard Blue had passed it brought tears to my eyes. I immediately ran into my wife asleep and told her what happened. Glad to see your Mom in Ireland, that was awesome!!! May God comfort you in the loss of Blue, he was awesome. Love your channel.
I put my aussie down after 13 years to cancer.. His name was Rebel. He was my hearding dog sheep and cows my bestfriend. They are so loyal its insane..... Im now your subscriber... Just to see the love you had with him and your adventures 😢 cant wait to see more
Wow Ria! Never thought u would come back! God bless u for that! I know it’s tough, but I know blue wouldn’t want u to stop traveling all over the world. Good to see u back on you tube and blue will always have a place in my heart.
He will always be with you and will visit you in your dreams when my dog Jett passed he would visit not only in dreams, but also when I was awake which made very happy.
What an awesome getaway. Beautiful Blue will always be a part of you. Never apologize for grieving him. He was well loved and it was obvious he loved you too. He was such a happy boy. He will always be missed. Blessings always. 😊❤
I’m from Ireland. It’s lovely seeing this video. When you’re living here you don’t really appreciate it. You just get used to seeing castles everywhere. 🏰😂 It’s nice little reminder how lucky I am that I call Ireland home. 🇮🇪 RIP Blue. 🙏🐶
You should come to the island of Newfoundland, Canada some time! There is A LOTTTT of Irish Culture and Heritage here, and the scenery is absolutely stunning! Home of the friendliest people ever too.
Take time to drink the coffee, smell the flowers, look up to the sky, and be kind to yourself. You love and loved Blu deeply, which makes the pain even deeper. But what a life you two had together!
I am so sorry for your loss. I do understand needing to separate from the place where you made your best memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I’m so glad you’re trying to move forward. It’ll be a task, but I have a feeling you’re up for it. Be blessed and know that we all Love and care for you and you are in our prayers.
So good to see you back Maria. Blue is still with you every step of the way. Stay busy, Blue is waiting in fields of green patiently for you😀. No rush cause he has lots of friends
I cried for Blue. You need Ireland and Ireland needed you. We know how much you love it there. Great mental health vacation. Blue is still with you, Maria.
My dad has visited me many times in my sleep since he died in 2010. So has my cat Milo. He was the best little friend you could ask for. I miss them, but I'll see them again.
This is my goal. To visit Ireland. To travel around it. I’ve wanted to go for so long but things haven’t worked out despite my best efforts. I’m still going! It’ll happen. Thank you for sharing your trip. It’s motivating for me!
I just found out about the devastating news that Blue passed away while Watching your video on Ireland I couldn't help looking over at the passenger seat where Blue used to sit and and expecting to see him. I'm pretty sure you do the same thing . Please take care of yourself during this difficult time grieve when you need to cry when you need to but know that Blue had a marvelous life . Blue might be gone but , not forgotten Rest in Peace Dear Blue 💙
@Roaming Reckless, I couldn’t help but wonder if the LochNess was somewhere close-by when we saw Glendalough. I dont know where he lives, but that sure was beautiful spot and the water was SO calm. Almost too calm! Ya know? I am very sorry about Blue’s passing. I’ve been there and I thought I was being crushed, it just hurt so badly. Good on you for taking time to mourn and at least start the healing process. And, Way to go Momma! A momma’s love is always a good thing.
No way, I’m from Dublin, love glendalough, used to camp there myself. Been watching you for ages, mad that you’re here now. Rest in peace Blue ❤ much Irish love 🇮🇪
Big fan of yours Maria. Only dog owners understand how it feels when we loose our pups. I’m 6’1” 280 pounds, bald and as my friend says I’m a little intimidating looking. But, when I lost Pringles I was a mess , I couldn’t even get through my walks with my other dog without seeing others that knew us and I would just break down. Anyway, time heals. Take care
3:05 thats because yous practically boil your eggs in America by washing them, before selling them. washing away its protective layer, the cuticle, so the eggs must be kept at refrigeration temperature because youse washed the cuticle or membrane, away which prevents salmonella and other bacteria from penetrating the shell.. There's actually a video on this that explains the difference in foods in America and Europe.
Its so hard to accept that such an innocent being has to suffer and then go too soon... I look at my dog, 3y old, and with your videos i tried to imagine i will have to let go of her one day... And then i hug her and say 'i will be with you until the rest of your life, dont worry'... And i am thankfull i will hold her paw and accompany her for as long as she will be with me. Be grateful Marie, you were together till the end and that is one of the most beautiful experiences in life ❤️
Good to see you back Maria. You are always in my prayers. It's always very good to just getaway and realize it's a part of life and we all move on. Easier said than done! Blue will always be a awesome part of your life. He made you stronger.
Many, many of us have felt your sadness through personal experiences and yours. My Chihuahua passed away years ago, and then a few years later I adopted another one and she is my little princess. Took a bit to build that “bond” but we indeed did! Time truly does heal wound’s! So give yourself some (time). Everyone heals differently. 💜🤍💜 We love you
I have prayed everyday that God will help you thru this loss. My search thru the Bible, knowing we will see our loved ones, gave a foggy reference to the pets we formed a close attachment. But then it says that when heaven is placed on Earth, we will be loved and love one another. I can't see how Heaven can be just us and God without our pets. So I believe we will not only see our pets but will live forever with them by our side again. So I can't wait until I see Blu and you Maria together again, I'll hug you both.
I love Ireland also, kept telling myself LEFT IS MY FRIEND. I'm not done with that Emerald Isle either. Loved Scotland also. Spent 2 weeks there in 2019. I've just discovered you're channel and have been binge watching you as I'm looking into and plan to do solo senior camping in my minivan or jeep wrangler whichever I end up with. I live in Alaska so your Alaska trip "warmed" my heart, because I know what you went through with all the blizzards and snow storms this past winter. I'm so so very sorry about Blu. My heart broke when I heard the news. I lost my sweetest boy in 2017. I have a new love now which is why I've just discovered vehicle camping. I want to travel with my girl Every, (my covid 19 savior) who is a Havanese diva. I'm still in training. Anyway, I want to travel so this would quench both my wanderlust and no problems with the diva or inconveniencing anyone else. Thank you for your sharing. I've learned a lot from you and admire you so much. I can't wait for your next adventure. Aloha from Alaska...PEACE

💚🇮🇪💚🇮🇪
NO ITS NOT. CORK IS.!
@@jjbiggmann5576 Nah, it's Meath 😂
@@jjbiggmann5576 I actually spent all my school holidays in Cork when I was a kid... And it most certainly is beautiful, with amazing people too. I think the area my aunt lived was BlackRock or something similar... Does that ring a bell?? 🇮🇪💚
@@Iamhome365 Also beautiful! Let's be honest... Ireland is just awesome all round! 😅🇮🇪💚
@@Theproudestmama YUP..SOUTH OF THE RIVER, DOWNSTREAM OF THE CITY PROPER......A RATHER UPMARKET PART OF THE CITY.....IT HAS A PLACE FOR LOOKING AT STARS AND SPACE, AND STUFF.
As if I wasn’t already crying enough… I saw her mom’s face and then the hi mama… & I knew exactly what was happening. Ugh I just want to hug you! My heart aches for you
Hi Maria, like everyone else we are so sorry for your loss and also being pet parents can truly understand. Remember Blue’s baby sister misses him a lot as well. We look forward to seeing your adventures with her in the future.
so nice of your mom to accompany you in this hard times..
Oh sweet girl….I’m so glad you took time for yourself. The sadness in your body language speaks volumes. I’m sending tons of positivity your way.
I saw such sadness in your face, and you trying to hold back the tears. Don't hold back....your heart is broken....cry if you want
Ireland is legit magical- hope it was healing for you 🙏
I started crying when I saw your mom because she’s a sweetheart ❤to come and spend time with you after losing Blue 😭 Such a wonderful video!
Ya, your mama is a sweet❤!
We're all here for you Maria and so is Blue. He will always be around you, looking over you. Bubby can never leave you.💙

I started crying when i saw your mom. So glad you have her with you during this tough time.
Moms are the greatest people ever!! Glad to see you are posting again, I'm sure like me, a lot of people were worried about you. Stay safe

It's pronounced Glen da Lock, lough is Lock to us! So sorry to hear about your Blue, praying for you x
Maria, We all grieve with you will miss seeing blue on your future endeavors. But know he will always be with you in everything that you do.
💙
Coffee money darling & so, so sorry about Mr Blue 😢
I have been praying for you. Grieving takes time. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. So happy that your Mom joined you.
I’m from Ireland. It’s lovely seeing this video. When you’re living here you don’t really appreciate it. You just get used to seeing castles everywhere. 🏰😂
It’s nice little reminder how lucky I am that I call Ireland home. 🇮🇪
RIP Blue. 🙏🐶
You should come to the island of Newfoundland, Canada some time! There is A LOTTTT of Irish Culture and Heritage here, and the scenery is absolutely stunning!
Home of the friendliest people ever too.
The cap is attached for recycling purposes so when u go to recycle and get your money the bottle is intact
Hugs and Prayers Maria💛💛💛 So glad to see you're posting again. Stay strong kiddo!
💙
So good to see you back Maria. Blue is still with you every step of the way. Stay busy, Blue is waiting in fields of green patiently for you😀. No rush cause he has lots of friends
I cried for Blue. You need Ireland and Ireland needed you. We know how much you love it there. Great mental health vacation. Blue is still with you, Maria.
Hi Maria, Luggala & Lough Tay is a short drive over the mountains from Glendalough FYI. All the best, Tom
So happy to see you back on the road with your new girl. Blue is with you in spirit. 💙
Blue was family. It is completely understandable that you're grieving! We're grieving too! However it's good to see you. ✌🏾
So happy to see you posted. I have been wanting to know how you are doing. Blue will always be in our hearts. He was so SPECIAL!💙
Okay I am crying now when your Momma came 💜🙏🏻💜Treasure these moments Maria mine is in Heaven and I miss her every single day!
Love your video. We go to Ireland every year in May\June, but have never rented a van. You may have convinced us to give it a go.
When you dream about loved ones, that's them letting you know they're ok. They are visiting you in your dreams, when your mind is most relaxed.
Absolutely!❤
My dad has visited me many times in my sleep since he died in 2010. So has my cat Milo. He was the best little friend you could ask for. I miss them, but I'll see them again.
This is my goal. To visit Ireland. To travel around it. I’ve wanted to go for so long but things haven’t worked out despite my best efforts. I’m still going! It’ll happen. Thank you for sharing your trip. It’s motivating for me!
I find this to be such an emotional journey . Every minute I was think about Blue with tears running down my face .
Blue might be gone but , not forgotten Rest in Peace Dear Blue 💙
same feeling here...
Same….
Ok watched this twice in two days. Crying twice,, love you and Blue.
So happy to see that you have posted. Sending all my love. May God bring you peace. You gave Blue the best life.
Take care
Blue was such an amazing partner. He was the happiest, sweetest, most loving dog! I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself. ❤
💜🤍💜
We love you
I have prayed everyday that God will help you thru this loss.
It’s my favorite country, too! Perfect place to help you heal.
Btw…if the eggs are fresh they can go weeks without refrigeration.
