Jeff, does this new Highlander have blue-backlit speedo and tach? I really disliked the Honda Crosstour's blue instrument lighting, and LOVE the '18 Camry XSE V-6's white and red illumination. It's nice and contrasty, easier to read, and looks great! The blue...not so much.
Second ur question. Very valid request. That is the only way to fit 5 adults look the Volvo and it is just silly to force the Platinum to be a 4 adult SUV.
they are saying no... but i sure hope they change this... will upset lots of people. we have a '17 with the bench... capt chairs would def not work for us. but the pano roof is a must!
A review happens to show center of bench seat rides higher and taller adult head bumps on the odd shape headliner on normal sunroof when you sit straight and wonder if that is s even worse with panaramic sunroof. Interesting thing is, the original Toyota video for almost a year before reviews this month shows a bench seat with that caramel color leather under a panaramic sunroof!!
Can some of the platinum features be had on the limited trim like the HUD or 360 cam? Will the platinum trim offer a 3 row bench in the future, because according to Toyota, the current gen platinum Highlander can be had with a 3 row bench as an option
my guess it there is a an upper weight limit they are pushing up against and that's why you can't get the 2nd row bench seat in the Platinum because of all its extras.
Can anyone tell me if I get the Limited model and add the package that adds the 12.3" Touchscreen and the Second Row Bench Seat instead of the Captains Chairs, will it also have the Heads Up Display.
Thinking the same thing. Toyota did say they are eventually going to have a TRD model for every vehicle and we did just get the RAV 4 TRD. Fingers crossed it comes out before I lose patients and get something else.

No auto headlights on the LE. That's a bit disappointing.
Final Four Yes automatic headlights are standard on all trims including auto high beams because that’s part of TSS 2.0.
