Look up the story of "Cher-Ami"(French for Dear Friend)
She was a WW1 Carrier Pigeon who saved the lives of 194 soldiers who were trapped behind enemy lines. What makes her story fascinating is the fact that not long after taking flight from the battlefield,she was shot by a German Sniper & fell to the ground,then got back up flew 25miles back home & delivered the message.When she made it back she had one of her eyes shot out & her left leg was hanging on by a single tendon(which was later amputated but she survived). later she was awarded a medal for her Heroics!!

I never knew the story of Cher ami I did some reading on this pigeon she was wounded shot down got back up took flight deliver her message got back home, God was guiding her flight, and now like all war hero pigeons they are delivering messages for the Good Lord
