HIM: Hey can you lend me a dollar?
      ME: Sure
      HIM: Can I have two.
HIM: Hey thanks for buying me coffee this morning.
      ME: Sure. No problem.
HIM: Can you also buy me a donut?
HIM: You mind if I bum a smoke?
      ME: Go ahead.

Read between the lines in the video. The original seller was in a hurry and going out of the country. Rick didn't have it appraised and took a shot in the dark on the price. Rick took the risk and got rewarded (could have gotten burned though). Simple risk & reward principle.

because it's not something you're gonna sell if you put it on display. Nobody that just walks into the store will buy it. As they said, it's the kind of stuff they have to find the buyer. So no point in displaying it.

Ransacked when Faberge died the company thought it could be a fake it's not the typical design! But the documents for the brooch were found in another Faberge office out of Switzerland and the value is way higher than first thought!

    1. It's not a medal, it's an Order. 2. I'm not sure who Craig said the manufacturer was, it sounded like Fowen, but in fact these Orders were manufactured by the house of Keibel, Julius or Albert Keibel, depending on a period. 3. It was basically the second ranked highest Order in imperial Russia, behind only the Order of Alexander Nevskiy and on par with the Order of St. Vladimir.

800 years? I'm polish and what I learned in school is that Poland lost Independence in 1795. After 123 years Poland gain freedom again. After WW1. Than we lost it to USSR and again gained it 1989.

it always bothered me, like how come Poland was not independent, when its was not part uf USSR? It was ruled by poles, communists and what not, but still by poles, unlike any part of USSR, of course, politics was influenced by Warsaw Pact, but now it is influenced by EU and NATO, and yet, nobody is saying , that Poland is not independent now. It just does not add up to me.
