i’m not ashamed to admit that i just listened to this poem 8 times in a row. i’ve never wanted a potential future to be true as much as this.
I met Andrea after their gig in Leeds the other day. It was honestly one of the best nights of my life and Andrea was so kind and loving and open. I got a hug. I was on cloud nine.
So jealous. I had tickets to see them in Boston. Made it to Boston but was running late, cue an anxiety attack, got confused & ended up at the wrong venue with no time to get the car and get to the correct place. Still broken hearted. Honestly considering a road trip to Pennsylvania when they come back to the states.
Andrea Gibson's poetry always makes me feel sometime of way ... I love them so much 💜

So, I have no idea if you actually read any of your comments Andrea, because I am sure you will get hundreds on this video. But, maybe, you’ll see this one.
If you haven’t already, read the his dark materials series by Philip Pullman. There are characters in his stories who expressed the same feeling of loss and aching and needing without ever being able to feel anything at all because they have no substance.
I think you would like them. And, I suppose, an added bonus is that they are lovely and queer, and do manage to obtain their own kind of happy ending.

this reminded me of Alphonse from FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood he was a soul bonded to a suit of armor who was trying to get his body back
