Test cricket uses a different batting strategy. The idea is to stay in the crease as long as possible and not take risks of trying to hit 6's.
Test matches has larger fields and no field restrictions, there can be a lot of fielder at the boundary. Also it's riskier to hit sixes because of the ground size and the goal is to bat as much as possible, because of 5 days of game play.
Sixes are hit in shorter formats of the game.
This format, where they play in white, is called Test cricket, which is a match that lasts 5 days, or sometimes less if one side is really dominant. The aim of the game is to survive as long as possible, as there is not a limit on the number of overs and balls bowled, and the sides only swap over to the next innings when the getting side are all completely out. So here A.B. is not hitting his usual smash of sixes because he's trying to survive for his team. And his name is pronounced Ay-Bee as it's an abbreviation of his two first names.
The funny part is that, both ABD and Virat played for the same franchise in IPL and are best friends... everytime they step out to bat, they destroy the entire opposition team

when they wear whites, its called ‘test cricket’ which goes for 5 days… so its all about survival… one bad half an hour and it is too difficult for the batting team to bounce back… so theres more defence than attacking shots…. hard to find a six in test cricket…. in t20 format which is 3 hours, theres sixes all over….
AB was a SA cricketer.
also in test match cricket, the ball is red… its hard and heavy like a rock…. u can buy one and try playing with it… then imagine the same coming at 90 miles per hour, with bounce variations, and the fielders catch it with bare hands…

Dude this is a test match,longest and purest form of cricket... a match can last about 5 days consisting 4 innings which means both the team will get to bat 2 times each.
In this format mostly no batsman would go for lofty shots. Only the best batsmen can last longer in this format, so they'll showoff their classy drives and defensive strokes.... Watch T20 or ODI if you want explosive strokes.
ABD is a different person when it comes to ODI and T20

This is test cricket so is much more about control and survival than big hitting.

6's aren't as common in Test as they are in ODI and T20. Do you understand the difference between the codes?
