The problem now is that since the new race directors came in they take a dangerous amount of time to decide what to do. They just wait about 2 laps with only local yellows until they decide to bring out a vsc/sc

Yes, reaction time is worse than a sloth trying to catch a fly

I agree. If people want nonsense like the race stopped so we can have a dash at the end, they can always watch NASCAR

Yes. I was very ticked off and it had nothing to do with the snoozefest of a race we'd just seen

Same here man! It was a cool race for 47/53 laps, so a strong B+! Thank you for the great video!

Massi was a scapegoat, all the teams signed a contract before abu Dhabi that all reasonable effort should be made to avoid safety car finish, and massi used everything in his power to make that contract applicable and give us a non lame end to the season, they through him under the bus and put 2 incompetent nicom poops incharge, yes massi made mistakes but its a fucking hard job to do and he got better slowly, you cant just replace someone with 40 years experience with someone with 1 year experience and expect perfection, now we are just starting all over again but now we have 2 chefs in the kitchen conplicating matters if a car stops on track or slows significantly NOT ON A STRAIGHT it should be instant VSC NO IFS AND OR BUTS, then decide if a tracctor is needed on track of so then safty car, make tirewarming ILLEGAL on lap q of safty car so all drivers can see where the incident is and take eztra precautions when driving that area then have the safty car go extra slow through there that way if there somehow is an incedent "not sure how that would happen" given the noe majorly reduced speed, it is now almost impossible for a driver to die via blunt force trauma to the head in the event of a vehicle collision with a tractor, red flags should only be waved if weather conditions are bad enough , a crash occurs under bad weather conditions or there is damage or blockage to the track and or barriers

After watching that nonsense at 2023 Australia with that monster pile-up, a very based video. A result should try to reflect who earned what on merit, not just whacky excitement for idiots to argue over

this very issue is making me unsub and lose respect for a lot of "experts" in the field. folks that come from respected youtube and traditional media. so thank you for actually having a level head and not promoting unsafe racing Raian.
scott mitchell as an example, the dude literally said his enjoyment was ruined that they could have kept on racing due to where richavocado stopped. moronic clowns that don't understand that safety car isnt just for the safety of the driver in the incident but also the VOLUNTEERING marshals that's at the track. Josip Mušanovićcan serves as an example as to how dangerous the sport is for the marshals and that happened this year.
i couldn't give two fucks if you got blue balled and had an unfulfilling end, these ends are NOTHING NEW and only the british biased news have been equating it to Abu Dhabi finish last year.. frankly you can you that very thing to weed out your news sources to find something less biased. if you see them saying this was "controversial" just add that news source to the block/ignore list as its biased to a point where it's propaganda essentially.

Oh yeah. I decided not to mention everyone comparing everything to Abu Dhabi this season. It's been unrelenting and moronic. No, Hamilton is not in a position to win the championship this season and thats the team's fault and his own. "We don't make mistakes" my ass

@@RaianF1 even if he were p3 and even on points. The only comparison is that the safety car was on track for a bit.
Last year massi did fuck things up, but then again early in the season he also ruled things in hams favor, like the shunt in Silverstone. So they both had unfair points given to em.
But on the real, folks complain about the toxic fan base, but the media sources are pushing that very agenda. Especially from the English side, let martin brundle talk for 3 seconds and he finds a way to make it about ham/Mercedes.
      It's embarrassing.

@@CreamAle yes. Also, fun fact: the team that would have benefited most from a red flag is indeed Mercedes

@@RaianF1 now for some levity, man how awesome have these new cars been huh? it actually did improve the on track action.
      also the newer drivers!
zhou is doing a great job, de vries will be a welcome addition to the track, norris is forcing that car into positions it shouldn't be in, russell is super consistent, and lechair is making mistakes but is showing how great he is, and max is being strong to put it lightly.
i think i can safely say, that the sport is in safe hands as this next generation of drivers is already doing well. some of them to be added to the list of greats for sure!

Do I think that race should have been red flagged ? Yes
Do I think that not doing so was a terrible decision that should have the race director fired ? No
