I went from an s7 edge to the xz premium too and I think the sound although not as loud it is far far superior in the xz... And with wired headphones and with DSEE HX enabled in audio settings music sound is sublime audio much better then my s7 edge love this phone 📱
External speakers become louder if you enable the ClearAudio+. But i am using manual equalizer settings when i listen through the headphone jack thought.

I own an XZ Premium myself (I bought it not long ago in the deep-sea black colour), and I absolutely LOVE IT and I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT like the features 'n stuff! This was a pretty good video, bro. But...I kinda disagree with you when you mentioned that the speakers 'weren't loud enough'... I've had the volume up full blast whilst listening to music & stuff with ClearAudio+ enabled, and I think they're pretty loud, and also sound very clear - probably the clearest sounding speakers out of any other smartphone on the market. *And I did the Oreo update not long ago, and in the list of things that were included in the Oreo update, it stated that the sound quality of the speakers was gonna be enhanced... And oh my God were they enhanced! They now sound much, much louder than they did at first, much louder than iPhone and Samsung phones and just as clear, if not clearer than they did at first!* *Sony make the best smartphones on the market.* ❤
idk if you know about this, since I see a box from a pair of Sony earbuds in the background, but this phone is capable of Digital Noise Cancellation (DNC) with a compatible pair of earbuds (like the MDR-NC31EM or the MDR-NC750) which is also a very nice feature to have.. And speaking about those earbuds in particular, you can also record binaural audio when using those when shooting video (www.sonymobile.com/gb/products/phones/xperia-xz-premium/sound/ ) This and so many things in regards to sound, tbh.. Clear Audio+ is a handles equalizer settings for every song individually, so you don't have to go to the equalizer yourself to tweak it for each and every song you listen in the moment; Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE HX) deals with the quality of the music file itself when played on the music player. It tries to recover the lost sounds from the original recordings making it closer to high-res audio as possible; But keep it up..! You seem to be able to go far with this! :) PS: Do you mind if I give you my feedback from your previous tricks and tips video you made?

I went for the Chrome version because I always have bought black phones in the past and wanted a change. Only downfall I'm having though is that the fingerprints on this phone are very visible, can be annoying at times. The Sony assistant helped me find the 'hidden' features so to speak. I'm really hoping for the "Double tap to wake up" comes up again on the XZP. I had it on my Z3 and Z5C, they work like magic! I'm also hoping for a setting to switch the resolution of the screen and TO Get the Android Easter egg back .. I miss my digital cats 😿
if you want double tap to sleep mode on just go to home screen hold on a empty part of it until the widget wallpaper themes and setting comes up and then click settings and should be near bottom
I have found that to massively increase the phones volume without changing the sound quality I turned the graphic equaliser on and pushed all the settings up to highest, this worked for me very well
There is also a sound booster app on playstore. I used to use it when I had a tablet linked to the car before getting an integrated Android head unit (car stereo - not robot head).

I have the Xperia tablet z and the z3 phone,when I play videos I downloaded they automatically play the next video,but cant seem to do on my xz premium,I have to do manually,is there a setting for this?
I watched you both tips & tricks videos, and well, most of the features you where talking about are there from first Sony Xperia Z series. I myself had Z1, Z3, Z3+, Z5 premium and now XZ premium, and i can tell you that you told nothing new and nothing special that a normal user could not find on his own. For example, hidden UI menu, multitasking and quick swap between programs, and how about Nekko Atsume Easter Egg? Try to do your homework before you make a video on youtube. BTW.. one of the complaints sony gets is that its UI design is the same still and that its boring compared to the fancy S8 which also has more features. do you think sony needs a UI design upgrade with more features?
idk im not saying its better. But it has more features as in you can costumize more things. Its pretty well known that samsung has all kind of things crammed into the software.

Kacha Kachidze double to wake/sleep is not available on the XZ Premium. I believe its only available on the US models.
