I think most of the people already know about these things. You should've talked more about the hidden stuff. Like for example; in Home Settings, there's a feature "Double tap to sleep". It'll let you tap 2 times on the home screen to lock the phone (Double tap to wake up doesn't work). Another important thing you could've talked about is the Glove mode. In settings, you can find the Glove mode which lets you use your phone while wearing gloves. This is important especially for people living in Northern areas or for people whose work requires them to wear gloves, like for doctors or construction workers...

(Smantana means Cream :)) ) Just a small bit of info regarding screen color accuracy: The calibration is actually useful if you want it to really be calibrated. Out of the box, the white balance (slightly blueish) is set up so that the screen can be as bright as possible, however if you calibrate the white balance a bit, and don't mind the very small dip in maximum brightness, you'll get a much more accurate color reproducton. For professional mode, which basically limits the color gamut to just sRGB (useful for most photo editing or graphic design as most platform still only use the sRGB color spectrum) that would be Red - 243 ; Green - 144. For Standard mode, which uses Sony's Triluminous quantum-phosphor dot display to its fullest, which basically means 138% of sRGB spectrum (above DCI-P3 compliant) it's just Red - 146. This spectrum is more poppy, as it can reproduce a wider array of shades of blue/red/green, and is generally used in the filming industry as well as, recently, in many areas of graphic design and photography, though it will take some time until it becomes a standard, as, for instance, Chrome only covers and displays sRGB, regardless of what screen you have. Mind you, these values are specifically for my screen (not all displays are identical, but the manufacturing variations at least when it comes to Sony are VERY small) but should do the job. I calibrated it using a Datacolor Spyder5EXPRESS screen calibration device. Before calibration, Standard mode had a DeltaE deviation of 4.7, and after it's at 2.8. ( 2.0 and lower is generally considered extremely accurate, as in the human eye can no longer tell the difference, so 2.8 si definitely in the professional display realm - iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Dell XPS devices and pro monitors for instance have below DeltaE 3.0 and are a gold standard in digital editing of all sorts). The S8 has a pink display, how can it be best? Also for an amoled device its battey life is very poor and i know many people who are complaining about it. Also its aspect ratio is not ideal for reading text and its fingerprint sensor is in very bad position. For me even the S7 is better than the S8 and it's much cheaper now.
i have a problem connecting my phone profiles to my car's infotainment system. can't sync my contacts or make phone calls. the phone itself is paired with my cars bluetooth but i'm only can play music. do you know of any work around for this issue
Warrick Raymond i think with the Android 8 Oreo update, the 4k option changed location. Try opening the camera app and going into the actual settings of the camera 👍
+vs karni. The most obvious was the whites on the display. The Samsung had a yellow tint, but the Sony was very clear and white. The second was the speed, the sony is smooth and fast compared to the s7 edge. Also battery is better on the Sony. I still think the s7 edge is a beautiful design but the xz premium is a huge upgrade.
Sorry but image Quality on 19 megapixels is NOT much higher than 17, it's not even noticeable..... And 16:9 is better since most peapole view their photos on computers or phone screen
+Quar i agree but if you have an image at 19mp you can easily crop it to 16:9 or to whatever ratio you want. It also allows for higher quality when zooming and cropping.
AndreiSmantana. Dear Sir. I noticed that when u double tap. On video it will fast Forward by ten second for each tap either forward or backwards. U may please share with your other viewers
Hi Rahul. Ill try to explain this as best as i can. A 19MP image is larger in size than a 17MP. The 19MP image is taken in a 4:3 ratio whereas the 17MP is take in 16:9 because of the amount of pixels. The larger the picture (eg 19MP) the more you can crop it and zoom into it. If you take a picture in 19MP with 4:3 ratio you can then crop it to a 16:9 ratio. Hope that helped

Daisy'sWorld After installing the Nova Launcher you can still use the fingerprint scanner and the dual sim. Everything works as normal. 👍
