It's pretty funny that everyone is freaking out thinking the kids are going to have a 3-some, like really?
Maybe.. Bobby and Connie might do something down there if they were older like 16-17 but I really don't think so.
Hank even says in an earlier episode "There's no need for Bobby to get all bothered up learning about sex, when he can't do a damn thing about it anyway at his age and with his... -messes with glasses- features"

At that point, I'd say it would've been more likely that Connie would've done some small stuff with Joseph while Bobby got left out, seeing that it might had been Joseph's plan at the time. But you're kind of right. Bobby wouldn't have really caught the signals even if Connie straight up told him she wanted to get taken to the boneyard.

I remember Joseph’s line in this episode “Women have a hard time choosing between guys sometimes. They like to have their cake and eat it too.” This line made me think that maybe Joseph knew about the affair; but upon seeing your input in the video, yeah, the line was just for dramatic irony.
I thought maybe the writers during the first 2 seasons might have been planning for Joseph’s possible knowledge of the affair to be kept ambiguous, appearing to be completely ignorant of it but sprinkle some hints that he might possibly know about it; Another one possibly being Bobby asking Joseph to clarify if he was talking about Dale when Joseph said “my dad” in the fire ants episode. But, taking into account the entire series as a whole, Joseph is completely ignorant of his true parentage. Yes, there are a lot of people who say that Nancy possibly told Joseph the truth in the Thanksgiving episode ‘Spin the Choice’ and Joseph was being intentionally vague when talking to John Redcorn about how “…in a way, we’re related” because Dale was there, but subsequent episodes, namely the episode ‘Vision Quest’, seem to definitively show Joseph is very much unaware of his relation to John Redcorn.
Another thing about this episode is that I think Kahn’s line about Bobby saying “Besides, I know he a good boy” is notable because I think that might have been the only time Kahn was nice to Bobby (when Bobby wasn’t even present for it). For the rest of the series, Kahn’s relationship with Bobby remains very antagonistic after he and Connie start dating. In fact, he remains rather caustic towards Bobby after him and Connie break up, like when he reams into Tid Pau for starting a relationship with Bobby (unaware that Tid Pau was just duping and using Bobby for her own ends). Though, I guess in that case, it’s just Kahn being Kahn as he’s just caustic in general.
And, divorcing the line from Kahn’s hostility towards Bobby, it’s a good line and a good scene that shows that, underlying Kahn and Hank’s adversarial interactions where he thumbs his nose down at Hank, Kahn knows that Hank is a good man who raised his son right and can trust (although subsequent episodes do muddy this a little with his hostility towards Bobby and taking it out on Hank).

    • @NeedlessExposition

Kahn is the kind of person who refuses to praise someone to their face, especially with how harsh he (and Minh to an extent) is on Connie while endlessly going on and on about how much of an amazing kid she is to anyone in listening range.

I have learned that punishments of the abusive kind leads to a bad mental state... I was spanked with a belt, hand, tree branch and even punched in the face, was also screamed at and threatened. I've definitely made some Sins off my experiences with this but luckily I don't have kids right now and am trying to change my ways before I have kids. No one deserves to go through that and it sucks that I've let it get the better of me. I am full of guilt due to past actions but I will put effort to be better. The screaming and threatening came from "family friends" 🙄, I have a mental disability where I get angry and as a kid I'd always act up, my mother couldn't deal with it well so they decided to step up and yell at me constantly and make threats. Imagine you're 11 and a 21 and 40 year old tell you that they are gonna beat you up and knock you out.

i know its a small aspect of the video but when it comes to the discussion of khans voice actor I will always die on this hill, the beauty of voice acting is having the opportunity to portray characters you would have never been able to otherwise. unlike regular acting anyone can represent anything in voice acting. by its very meaning voice acting has no limitations and the recent uprise of "voice actors should only voice characters of there minority" feels like the exact opposite of the inclusion aspect of voice acting and feels like a backwards form of segregation.

    *SPOILER*
Freakshow had a happy ending by AHS standards at least.
Roanoke was pretty fun as well with the reality show schtick and how in the second half the shit is presented as being real. Horrible explanation. I enjoyed the most recent season as well even though that one had a bleak ending stretch. I get more intrigued with whatever they set up too much to notice and soak in the bleakness. I find it more neat then bleak I guess. Different strokes for different yoked folks.

Just noticed the bandage on Randy's head was on the wrong side 🤦
Also, being in the seemingly minority that felt like Lake Mungo was a snooze fest, that jab doesn't surprise me

    🤷🏻‍♀️got spanked by mom & she’s my best friend🤷🏻‍♀️
dad was a “your not getting up till you eat some peas type” and I loathe the man.
I think it honestly comes down to being able to communicate to your child the correlation between the punishment, the crime and the why. My mom did that. My dad would just aggressively repeat (“firmly remind” by today’s verbage) “EAT SOME PEAS!!”
Yes the peas situation happened. I’m 34 and still won’t eat them cause, you know, trauma

By the way, Mr. Reviewed2Death, I’m not sure where you got the picture from 14:40, but I’ve been having a few liminal space dreams based on this (a pic I have never seen before) and a metro station. I swear I had to pause the video, since I usually just listen to videos in the background rather than watch them, it’s crazy!

I have to disagree with a pretty overall small part. While the parents fears are completely blown out of proportion, they are realistic to small conservative Christian towns parents fears. The idea of being so afraid of teenage pregnancy and kids do anything of the sort. There is a real fear of sex, that leads to people having thoughts about how they need to protect their kids from anything even remotely sexual.
