Hopes and prayers? Unfortunately not really, tried all sorts but they are wedged in tight so require the specialist tool. Heating them up before removal helps as does freezing the new ones before installation. You can get a kit for 30/40 quid off eBay or amazon, search for ' inner bearing puller'.
@@bidders77 thank you for replying. Yes I guessed they would be a mare without the tool. I'll check out the amazon for the tool or maybe ask my local garage to do it. The freezing and heating for bearings drives my Mrs mad.....she keeps finding things in the freezer and oven 😄
@@x4dd I've heard of people driving them out from the other side with a punch but I tried and never managed it. Can't see how as there is a lip it seats into preventing it from going too far in when installing. Good luck with it. Pretty sure you can get cheaper sets I guess you'd just have to measure the bearing to find the size you need
