Honestly, I don't know a company that has put so much effort into updating an instrument. I got mine so I could play live without a laptop and interact fully with my set. Can't say enough good things about it.

Have my Blackbox now for 2 days and have become more creative than ever before! Great tiny magic box and easy to access workflow. At 2:47 you see the amazing Zynthian Kit open source Synthesizer. Also a magic box with endless possibilities to create sound and music and external effects! This two represent my dream team starting from now!

Updates like you've done here and on the Bitbox Mk1 is stuff people remember and why they will come back. I've had the Bitbox Mk1 and now i've ordered the BB.

This machine is a beast, especially for its size but I’ll tell you the only thing keeping me pulling the trigger is “conditional trigs” Elektron style… tools that further help break away from repetitive loops. The LFO was another one but that’s there now. I’m coming around… I want one but I’m someone who likes to keep their setup compact. This is one of the best samplers out for sure but people like me who aren’t so musical rely on conditional triggers and randomization to make interesting tracks.
What would be amazing is if you also made a “Padbox”. Something in the same form factor as the black box with some pads and made a some knobs for a controller. Launchpad is great but then you coo this controller that 5 times bigger than the smaller itself, which is not portable at all. Maybe a Blackbox pro, just double the width with pads… MPC Live Style.
Just throwing it outdoor, I’m sure you know what you want to do with your own company. Keep doing what your doing! I may pull the trigger soon… I’m coming around to it.

Blue Box with exact Autosampler feature is my need....but does Blue have Midi ports? I know it doesn't make sense....for me that's w hd at I need though.

Hello! :) Thanks for the video! I have a question about this device and would appreciate it a lot if you can answer those..! Does it have a midi CC list so that you can assign other buttons from external gear to trigger functions in blackbox like record, play, and seqeuncer etc?
Our devices do not honor a restricted list of CC's. Instead, we provide a very easy Learn function for every parameter that can be controlled via MIDI. You can start/stop via external MIDI Sync. Pads, sequences, recording, and clearing pads can be triggered via MIDI Note #s. Check out our other videos!

As long as you properly produce your samples you should be fine.
Is it possible to switch between several sets of 4x4 samples for one performance? So that you wouldn’t be limited to 16 samples/loops? 🙏
Yes. you can send MIDI PGM change to the blackbox to easily change presets during performance.
How many midi only sequences can be created / running at the same time? and polyphony of these sequences?. Thanks
Each preset has 16 sequences up to 64 steps each. One plays at a time.
Looks good but how do you export stems into a daw?
You have 4 stereo outputs to connect to your DAW. You can also utilize Song mode to organize your work before sending to your DAW.
I wish bitbox had most of that, also the sequencer. Like this i would need both. Won't do that.
My Bitbox Mk1 has really gained an incredible amount of features since I bought it. Thank you for that.
For a very specific reason, I‘m not too excited about this update. I am visually impaired and really appreciate the generous font sizes on bitbox. These look a lot smaller. I don‘t think I could read them. If this comes to bitbox, I probably won‘t update. That’s fine because I already love it as is, but still a litte sad.
I agree, font is too small and I'm not really used to the new way of editing screen. Its much less straightforward since and more complicateud. I'd prefer more screens to be clearer
if you were accustomed to the old way, you should easily adapt to the new layout. Yes, the controls are smaller but the arrangement is the same. So the 4 knobs control the ADSR, for example, the same way in both layouts.

I could only find one download link for the v2.0 on the forums but it says: "Please consider this a beta version for the next few days until we get some feedback from all of you." Do you have the full version now?
Make sure to look in the correct location. You will find 2.0 in the Blackbox Firmware section of our forum.
How many hardware midi devices is this supposed to be able to sequence?
between 1-?. If you send MIDI to an interface or splitter you can add as many as you need. Otherwise, you can daisy chain per the MIDI spec.
@@1010music that's what It seemed like to me, until too many parameters/ devices begins to effect the processor running smoothly I'd assume? I already have a blue box. I love it, GREAT work. Thanks so much for your time.

Using resample, you can create one track at a time. Or, check out the bluebox!
Can you export stems yet?
In one pass? No. But there are plenty of ways to export full tracks and/or songs.
Will this come to bitbox V2
It is safe to assume that some of this will find its way to the Mk2.

Please check out beta 1.2 of bitbox MK2. Many of the blackbox features are now available.
@@mattd2129 I'm not sure what you mean here. When granular read speed is 0 the audio remains frozen in place.
