I used to be the same until I focused on my singles on the basis drum instead of the song, once my singles improved I could play it no problem

Metronome. Start slow.

Hopefully you’ve figured it out, but I treat it like two doubles back to back. If you practice your doubles and get them consistent, then combine them, it’s almost like kick-kick-swivel-kick-kick but obviously there is no pause during the swivel so it’s four fluid kicks.
