- Java 1.17 is out and with it are some bugs/glitches you can take advantage of. This one is a duplication glitch that can be used even if you started a fresh world in Java 1.17. All you need is enough iron to make an anvil (or steal one from a village) and some junk items to fill up your inventory. Well, you also need whatever it is you are going to dupe. Add a few levels to the mix and you can do this super fast, super easy dupe glitch.

The server I use with my friends uses 1.16.5 paper, do you know any dupes that are not patched out by paper?
@@ARockyRock when a version is released expect dupes, since 1.16.5 is a old version all dupes were most likely patched, the other dupes require hacks to do.
@@ARockyRock in his video, duper truper said it was still working in paper, but they update pretty fast so not sure if that is still true
@@ARockyRock also... turn off paper for just long enough to use the dupe :P

that is why I had a stack in my shulker :)
Or u could just dupe iron ingots and make anvils out of them
@@adithyar3715 iron is not the problem with this glitch but the damage it takes forever for an anvil to beak so
The only actual problem is xp but if you have an animal farm or kelp xp farm or enderman farm late game then the anvil taking time to break ain't a problem

It's be interesting if they worked this into an intended feature that always dropped, like, 2-3 iron ingots/raw iron when an anvil broke instead of a duped item.
interesting... I like that idea because in theory a broken anvil should be pieces of iron no longer in a usable (anvil) shape

netherite for double prank... but with hopper under it so it goes away too... :)

Wow! That's amazing. I love your vids, and I'm glad you tell us about these while reminding us that usually, duping is wrong - but when we need to - it's nice to know we can.

@𝓵Nevil of course, we all know this. Look at what EagleEye said, too - and try to get the nuance of what we're saying. We're basically saying that "duping can get you in trouble on servers that ban it - don't do it there."
You aren't even making a good case for duping - and I don't mean to sound like I'm attacking you - I don't intend that. There is a very moral case for a lot of duping, such as "duping saves me from physical pain, from getting carpal tunnel syndrome and so tendonitis and so on" - and I'm not joking - duping, done to dupe rails, sand - or tnt duping to make perimiters and so on - is a VERY moral thing in terms of saving people from the physical ailments brought on by too much bloody clicking, by sitting in a chair so long, etc.
We need to start a moral crusade here - DUPING SAVES! I'm being partially silly, but also serious. ;) Good luck to you!
(but yeah, don't get banned from a server that doesn't allow any duping)

dude i renamed this in a damaged anvil 20 times and it didnt break is it patched now

I accidentally duped a ton of gold nuggets by using Masa's ItemScroller mod for auto crafting.
I threw a couple double chests of nuggets on the ground to craft them into ingots, which usually only takes a few seconds. But after updating to 1.17 I could just keep crafting forever, while watching my framerate go down 😂

I like how it's very late game. Like if you killed the ender dragon, the game is basically yours to fuck about so you can just dupe stuff to build and have fun

Yeah. I think mojang added a function to put the item (that was in anvil) straight into inventory. Is it that causing it dupe?
not 100% sure why it works... but it does :)
Its probably cause there is two items in the anvils and it does not fit in inv so minecraft prob thinks there are teo items in the anvil so they both drop

@@EagleEye621 oh its fine but have you tried it out though how much fps do you have i believe if you set your settings to fast and generally you will get more than 200 to 300 fps so your game will run smoothly:)

I have a few thoughts I am working on :)
I mean, you can get a fabric mod that auto recasts your fishing rod whenever it catches something. Then just afk with a mending fishing rod. Lure 3 makes the this XP farm more efficient.
Just build an afk gold/xp farm. You will get more xp than you will ever know what to do with.

Make sure you are in 1.17, 1.17.1 fixed this. But I just looked this up because there's no good way to farm dark oak wood, I love it though!
There are quite a few good dark oak wood farms, place saplings, dispenser bonemeals the tree, TNT duper blows it up. Pretty simple stuff and you just AFK farm the wood.
Yes, but the tnt could damage you and all tree farms only work with birch and oak mainly.

I duped my pair of god armor incase I lose it. would that be considered cheating? I probably wont use it even if I lose a piece by accident
that'd be cheating, but who cares about some duping. If you're doing it on a singleplayer world or smp I'd say: don't do it too much.
well... technically it is an 'unintentional in-game-feature'... so... depends on what you... yes, duping is cheating.... lol... but... this is a sandbox game that is meant to be fun, so if you have more fun with a tiny bit of cheating (especially if it is only for something there is no other legitimate way to get)... who cares... have fun :)

Ok if you want the anvil to break as soon as you rename the shulker, drop the anvil off a mountain. No seriously just fine the right height and drop the anvil.

I tried duping in bedrock on my Xbox and well it destroyed the anvil and the shulker box disappeared
