ASC T-121 Monthly Tornado Siren Test, Alert - Decatur, GA 10/2/19

- Recorded on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019. This is a monthly tornado siren test of the City of Decatur's Siren System. This siren is tested at the first Wednesday of every month at 5:00 PM ET. That's all siren videos for that day. I apologize for the video being tilted. I forgot to bring a bubble level tool (my tripod is not equipped with a bubble level) and my tripod is somewhat broken. I was very lucky that I had a day off work for this day. Me and Brendan went to this siren. First time for me to hear a T-121, this siren is really loud. When this siren started to wind-down, Brendan threw his ear protection in front of my camera. This siren replaced a Whelen Vortex in 2017. This siren is located at Oakhurst Elementary School (175 Mead Road, Decatur, GA 30030).

Perfect siren it sounds like a vacuum 😂
sounds like a super high pitched p15
How are those bugs casually flying around the siren
Nice video! Are these Panasonic camcorders good quality? I’ve been thinking about getting one myself to use alongside my Canon.
Yeah, they are. A V180K of V380K are the best camcorders I can think of off the top of my head that aren't that expensive
Iowan Siren Recordings On Amazon the price of the V180K went up to $230...
firefreak57 I'd say it's still worth getting, it's a really good camcorder
X900s are pretty good and cheap, highly recommend (this thread was from 2 years ago tho)
This sounds like: federal signal DSA alert & voice

NICE IT SOUNDS LIKE A T128
The T-121 and T-128 are essentially the same siren, minus the rotation bit
@@kansasclocksandsirensthe t121 is omnidirectional while the t128 is a rotating electromechanical
@@penclone0116 omnidirectional
Why do they look like a siren made by sirenetest?
Did you know the T-121 has a 12 port chopper and a 8 port stator
No it's always 8 port
d. the chopper and stator have to be the same
Yeah, no. That isnt how it works.
Huh
@@iowansirenrecordings2454T128 and T121 higher pitch than T112 and T135ACDC?
Love!❤️Love me some siren noise.😀
The asc t121 is big
ASC t - 121

Nice 👌🏻 at the end
T-121 is similar to t-128
Same chopper (i think)
@@spedsledproductions yes
It is the same chopper@@spedsledproductions
Same chopper but it’s omnidirectional

Terribly twitched :)
This siren replaced a whelen vortex
👌
GUYS SIREN HEAD HAVE A BROTHER!!
No
Looks like a Eclipse 8
but it’s not because the horns were made of T-128 horns but flattened them and the motor turned into a circular T-128 motor which makes it Omnidirectional.
The ECLIPSE 8 has sqaure horns
