Looking forward to the rebuild as the M2 is a fantastic car 👍That car is a good base, but it'll definitely take some work to get it right. As for the battery safety terminal, that is located inside the positive cable that connects to the battery. The car sound be able to start after that cable is replaced, unless the battery is dead as well. Lastly, there should be an oil cooler located on the passenger side, it probably ripped off in the accident which is why it's missing and there's oil residue everywhere.
Appreciate the insight bro! Yeah I've had the terminal issue on my E60 M5 years ago. I just wasn't sure which cable it is on this car but thank you! We'll get all of this square and running!
You need to start the car to get DCT in Neutral. So to see how much oil there is on the engine you need to take oilchange so you know how much you get out. And then fill up the correct amount.
And offcourse make shure that the engine spin freely before starting.
Nice project. 👌🏼😎
Excited to see where this project goes!
looking forward to seeing this project come together
Maybe hold back on buying all parts until you get the car to the frameshop.
Just buy what they need to repair structural damage.
Then move on to cosmetic stage.
For sure. I mean we started ordering stuff already like the things we know for sure we'll need but I'm sure we'll run into other parts we've missed on the list
sick vid bro
Gonna take some work but very well worth it
Oh yeah, she'll be a ripper bro!
Keep em coming!!
Great content
So the new bmw won’t start after accident ? I like that, because that could save your engine from anybody starting it without oil makes sense
Oh yeaa, definitely could be a really good thing. But also, could get really annoying trying to figure out exactly why it doesn't start haha
Bro I'm interested in this project.
Did you get it to the frame shop ?
Im eagerly awaiting part 2
Oh there will be no part two haha sorry, the car was sold
The coolant is brown because the transcooler oil has mixed with the engine coolant.
How does that happen? The trans has a separate cooler right?
@@YEVSBUILDS I might be wrong but I think the trans cooler runs internally to the radiator.
ну ты конечно соображаешь
