Nice shop but pls take the time to replace that PVC air line. I used a product called Garage Pak I believe (sorry it’s been years ) and it’s all powder coated aluminum tube. They have a complete line of mounting blocks and hangers. Really easy to work with. When I had my big shop I ran it everywhere then after retirement I brought some home and did my garage shop. Simply works and looks awesome.
I think the in-floor lift was my favorite. tHanks for the video
What a great shop, enjoyed the tour.
I loved that original video. That came at the right time. I am so psyched to see the changes...Super fantastic!!! You have a dream shop by far. That welding table is on another level. I absolutely love the screen pull down door. You have thought of the most important things.-John
New welding table is nice!!
My shop is being built this week and you’re video gave me a lot of great ideas
Awesome! Glad to hear that.
Love it, great shop you have there. Just down the road from you in Mossy Head, Fl. Between Crestview and Defuniak Springs.
I thoroughly enjoyed you video.
I am sure that as safety conscious as you are that you protect both you and your shop, however I didn’t see where you put your 2A10BC Fire extinguishers. I live in the Republic of California and I am waiting for my county to approve my plans for my 18’ x 35’ x 12’ high “storage area.” I hope you don’t mind if I glean some of your ideas. My permit process has been going on since last June for 4 walls, 2 roof halves, a 10’ x 10’ roll up door and a man door on an existing concrete slab that was for a Park Model mobile home, period. Got to love this Republic…lol.
I am inspired by your video.
Respectfully submitted
Permitting since last June? WTF is wrong with CA? Glad you enjoyed it.
Great tools, good video. For my use I keep my welding table free so I can work from all sides easily, the tool rack would get in my way. Also I would add an extension cord, drop light and air hose on reels hanging down along side your lift. I'm also in a wheelchair so I've arranged my shop to suit myself. I'm in Georgia, I'd kill for that A/C unit lol. If you ever decide to get rid of the lathe/mill combo or that giant "drill press" let me know I'm looking to get a few more things.
I wouldn't mind to upgrade my lathe. What's it worth to ya? admin@redlinestands.com
@RedlineStands Sorry for delay responding long day getting some tests. Let me look and see what's a fair price I don't want to insult you. I'm free tomorrow, I'll get back to you then. Thanks for the offer
Never use PVC for air line tubing. Never! It’s also never too late to fix a major, dangerous decision. The problem with PVC is several fold. One is that they don’t take sudden pressure changes well. Secondly is that PVC gets soft enough to bend, collapse or burst at below 140 degrees F. Additionally, it gets brittle close to freezing, say, 40 degrees.
He is in Florida where it doesn't get cold at all. Mosquitos are more of a problem.
@@Biokemist-o3k yes, and if his shop isn’t air conditioned, when it gets to the high 90s or higher, then it’s weakened as well. People come out with all sorts of excuses for doing something that shouldn’t be done.
@@melgross I cannot believe it lasted this long. Must have gotten super strength PVC....
@@Biokemist-o3k sometimes you get lucky for some time. Then you don’t. The problem with pvc is that it’s rated at constant pressure. That’s not the case with air lines.
Absolutely awesome shop. Well done.
Nice video, nice shop. Thanks
I lined my shop the same way. I didn't line the ceiling, or gables. The walls are done up to the eve. I also used foam insulation. There is no echo. You can talk and hear normally. Any I've seen on UA-cam, or been inside personally that are fully lined, even with the peferated steel drive me nuts!
Bravo........didn't see a coffee maker........Florida..... they use beer as mosquito repailant .......great shop.....cheers.
Can you do a short video on your screen door?
What size is your door?
Really nice shop with some great tools and all looks well organised. Just one safety concern might be that bin of rags so close to hot working area with welding and grinders
Good point! I'll make a hinged cover for it.
This is awesome!!
I am in the process of planning/building a 30'x42' shop and am intrigued by the motorcycle lift you installed in the floor. It should be relatively easy to do since I will be pouring a new slab. I'm interested in what model you used and why. Also any learnings you have from the process. Many thanks, Baxter Birch, Greenwell Springs, LA.
Check out this video below. I used the 2200HD.

Husky box been around a long time! A lot in that 40x50
Yep. got that top box when we graduated high school. she's 24 years old
Lets Go Brandon! absolutely love what you've done very inspiring!
Ha! Thanks.
Definitely jealous of your shop. Of course, real men build their 67 Novas in cramped 2-car garages 😂. BTW, what did the Nova weigh?
I ain't tellin. Actually, I'll be doing a video next week where I reveal the dyno tune and weight.
What’s up with that fab table when would you guys be selling them?
You didn't mention why no PVC air line next time? I know some folks switch to black pipe for the ends so they can better secure the lines.
I have a large amount of CPVC fitting that I won't be using on houses, so I figured I could make them into airline runs. Have a great weekend everyone!
Surely your joking?
Using PVC piping with compressed air presents a health and safety risk,
tHanks @@charlesjohnsjr.5809 . I've seen it done numerous times but haven't used it myself.
I use black pipe and copper however copper is still subject to being stolen in some of my storage locations.
I know sprinkler systems in residential housing are made with polyvinyl so I'm going with plain old CPVC next.
Don’t use any PVC product for air lines. In fact, while CPVC is better at high temperatures, it’s also more brittle and more likely to burst during pressure changes.
Aerosols above the welding table?
I agree that sounds a little sketchy, but TBH, they've been there for many years and it's never been an issue.
Not too mention that open rag bin right next too it.
did you build the welding table?
No sir. I bought it from a manufacturer of welding tables overseas. I'll use it over the course of the next year, and if I determine that the quality is good, we'll likely order some to be a part of the RedlineStands.com product line for 2025.
Cool, just right . 👍👍
who made that garage screen door?! must have
I'm planning to do a video on that alone so please subscribe so that when I upload it a couple weeks from now, you'll see it. Thanks.
Find everything when I need it?.....What's the fun in that? 1:42
What brand welding table is that ? Thanks

How is the harbor freight hardware?
It's okay. Depends what you buy and how demanding the job is that you're using it on. I wouldn't use any of that crap on a top fuel dragster.
What brand is that welding table ?
It's a Chinese import. I do not know the brand.
Do you have a link on where to buy one .looks like a nice table
@@mikemuniak4711 No sir. I'll be testing that table for about a year and we'll import some to sell "if" I'm happy with it after a year.
Oh, and we do carry this similar table already

Those welding cylinders should be chained to the wall.
I would purposely obscure the location i I had a nice shop like that.. This country is changing VERY fast. It might not have gotten to you yet, but its coming soon!
Get rid of those pvc air lines at all costs. They won't help you get rid of moisture in the lines, and they are very dangerous as they could break apart. I'd use black pipe. I've had black pipe in my garage/shop for 20 years with zero issues.
Unforgiving fabrication machinery, highly toxic flammable chemicals and an unlimited cold beer dispenser!
What possibly could go wrong?
BTW great shop!
Idk man, but it would be a highly blissful ending for sure.
All well and good if you have unlimited funds to buy this stuff.
Unlimited? Idk about "unlimited." I don't feel like anything in my shop is unrealistic. My most expensive item is in the $4k range at the time of purchase.
mowett mustang
Surprised you notice that, and that anyone knows what it is....

I have two originals and a retromoded, they are a blast. Shop is awesome! Keep them coming. I learned about pit posse from you, thanks about that.
Home shop, I'm jealous, but where's your CNC Laser? LMFIAO Nice especially the welding table, lifts and Breaks, oh did I mention CNC plasma table?
Jealous a bit of your shop.Lot of stuff but not really organized that well.Tubing laying on the floor ,not a fab shop plus in my book. And wiring rack nice but on top of the great welding table you have? That floor stand over the service door inside, hmm. But yes, jealous of all the bells an whistles.
Are u just gonna skip over the Ricky Bobby hood ?
LOL. It's from this:

Jealous
Copper air lines are extremely dangerous
Tell us why? Copper 1” is good for well over 400psi and won’t rust
Put down the crack pipe. You’re likely confusing it wit PVC.
You have no idea what you’re talking about, google search k grade copper and find out your self what copper can be rated for.
Steven is an AI troll, minus the “I”.
Copper air lines are dangerous eh...
Alrite then. Everyone has an opinion lol.
Nice shop!
