Your UA-cam presence will and has had a far greater effect on your business growth than one appearance on TV. As a small business owner myself, there have been lots of times I got super excited about what I thought would be "massive exposure" only to be "disappointed" afterwards. Iv'e had short spots on TV twice and literally nothing happened after. Granted it wasn't the Ellen Show, but the fact is that people have very short attention spans. We need to see something over and over again for it to make a lasting impression. So, stick with what you're doing! It's working! Find other ways to make lasting and repetitive impressions. Instagram, Facebook, TicTok, and of course UA-cam. Wishing you all the best! You and your animals deserve it.

I think you are more than a show. We don't get Ellen here in England but your videos are so amazing that you can reach more people than a TV show. Watching you and your team, all of the animals and the stunning vistas make everyone want to help you. Either with donations or support for what you do, but even more importantly, you advocate for all the needy animals and teaching people to respect the animals and you help rescue animals too. You did a fantastic interview on the Ellen D. Show. You did not appear blanked out at all. You were wonderful and did a great job explaining your mission and purpose. I don't understand why many here feel it necessary to dis or negate Ellen. Nothing about that would raise you any higher. It makes no sense to me. Ellen champions many missions and uses her fame to give a voice to those who have no voice. But at the same time she must continue to entertain. So... whatever on that. Can't wait to see more of your videos from now on. I am a out of control animal lover & Dog Rescuer ...after retirement it became a 24/7 Love of Labor. Only problem is that here, my neighbors are always trying for me to either move out & sell, or get rid of my animals including my kikirikis (miniature chickens), rabbits & especially my homeless dogs...so everybody hates me; they say I am trashing this community's appearance & reputation. I don't let them intimidate & I know God has given me this gift to Love & Care for these angels of God. Thank You for what you do as well. I'm so glad Marissa told me to look you up! I'm so late to discovering the Asher House that I'm literally binging all these videos just to catch up on the history, the present, and the future of the house. Every new video I watch just makes me more confident and believing in their mission to rescue animals, and with someone as sincere and expressive as Lee at the helm and as the face of the sanctuary, I truly believe every member of that team carries the same love and compassion for these animals. My mom adopted at little black pig -- turned into a HUGE pig and lived to about 16!! He was super sweet.

You are great on your own! Ellen doesn’t always come across as super friendly from what the press says! She should have welcomed you herself in the green room! I got the feeling she wants to stay apart from her guests...the press may be right about her! At least you got to show your sweet dogs!
She is a terrible boss. Former employees complained about her being vicious & even violent.
They also talked about sexual harassment & that she took the side of the harrasser. I didn't even know she still had a show.

Everything that has been said about Ellen is true,even actors called her out for it. Also,i don't know a single host that doesn't bother to meet their guests beforehand. I'm so happy Kelly Clarkson is taking her place. I bet she would get to know you AND spend at least a couple of minutes chatting afterward. Total opposites. I was in the Oprah show and she didn’t meet us before or after. I did see her as I was going through security. She came in from jogging and had zero makeup on and I remember thinking, dang if they can make her look as good as they do, they should do wonders for me. Lol.

I remember you being on Ellen I am not sure but it may have been where I learned about the Asher house. Back when I started watching you were just starting to travel around. Mostly raising awareness of dogs in kennels and finding them homes and rescuing more dogs. I love you Lee and all the people that help you. Plus I love all the animals and the ones that have passed on while following you. I didn't realize how attached I had been to them until they passed. One day I hope to visit and if you let me I can help out while I'm there. Free labor at your service. Lol. Lee, you are such a wonderfully positive and honest person with nothing but true love for animals and people. You’re so inspirational and have done some many positive things for so many. Unfortunately so much negativity came out about the show. Glad the company Shutterfly made that donation to the Asher House.
It’s disrespectful to you that they made you drop everything to be on the show!! You’re time is just as valuable as Ellen’s. It’s disappointing that she couldn’t or wouldn’t take a few minutes to talk to you backstage.
