I believe that Ellen is the person responsible for creating Taylor's image as "serial dater". Anyone notice how when all the accusation came out about Ellen last year, there were some celebs sticking up for Ellen but Taylor never did? And yet they were apparently "friends". I think it speaks volumes Taylor didn't stick up for her. They were never friends. It was all for the Ellen show. Seeing these interviews now makes me so uncomfortable. There was nothing funny about it. Especially the one with the bell.
Now that you mention it, they were very awkward on the most recent appearance for the ME!/Lover era promo too. Ellen had nothing left to say other than "you can do anything you want" and Taylor pretty much just showed a bunch of old cat videos from the latter half of the reputation era too with a strange round of Hot Hands. The fact that in 4:43 Ellen litterly degrades Taylor swift so harshly that she is almost in tears is absolute disgusting to see, the lacking amount of compassion that Ellen has to the people that take the time to come on her show is just horrible.
