Thank you 🙏 you can definitely get a boat and join the community! Take your time and choose the boat that will work best for you. Consider renting a few and get a feel for the different types of boats. One thing for sure is that you will love it. It becomes a life style!
Hey thank you for your videos ! I’m in Milwaukee and thinking on taking my boat to Chicago / Chicago river / navy pier , any tips , recommendations on where to launch my boat ? Any help would be appreciated
I would consider richard j. Daley Park Boat Launch its on western on the river and drive it east towards downtown then pass the locks onto navy pier and playpen. Or you could also launch at diversey harbor depending on the clearance of your boat or 31st on a weekday, 31st ramp is closed on weekends. hope this helps, i don't launch much because I'm at a harbor all season but i would also consider checking out the chicago boaters facebook page and posting on there also you might get a bit better guidance.
Where is the babies life jacket? My daughter at 8 mos and never got on the boat without putting the jacket on til 13,. it was automatic. Never to young to start

He has it on when we are underway, if you forward a bit you can see he has it on at all times after we leave the dock.
