Today i bring a different presentation from the usual.
2 similar cafe racers from the same Builder.
The base motorcycle model is the Yamaha XV 750 Virago.
Both built by Eak K Speed Customs, in Thailand.
One of them is named of "Blue blaster", and the other is the "Red Roarer".
Enjoy
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my english.
Here are some interesting links about this motorcycle:

Yes, the tremendously versatile Virago. One guy even used a Virago motor in his home-built airplane! Racer, no one can reveal the secrets of a design like you do! The shot of the two bikes with the front wheel merged, the morphing photos, the demonstration of the proportions: all done very effectively.
Thank you my friend for all your usual kind words. I appreciate your support. :) Cheers.
Gorgeous!!!!! 😮
Another cool video
Mi amigo caballero Racer TV
Regards from México 🤗
Gracias amigo. :) Saludos.
Banco curto, v2, rodas grandes, monoshock. Tudo que eu adoro. Muito bom!
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.
Uau!!!
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.
As always the racer tv never lets me down best bikes ever detail is amazing form boring bikes to art thanks AGAIN for showing me how things can look brilliant 👍🇬🇧
I don't know why I fail in love with the blue one 💙💙💙
I really have to sit and stare at both bikes for a few more days! This much eye candy is hard to swallow in one viewing. Okay, for me the blue bike just plain works beautifully!!! Thank you so much !
Lol. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Realmente dois belos projetos! Não consegui escolher somente uma. Bela apresentação! Parabéns! Como sempre um excelente vídeo! Abraço!!!
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.
With no doubt i say, thailand are the most expert country in makin cafe racer.. I am your neighbour, malaysian
....no doubt!!.
You never fail to amaze me sir
its so satisfying to watch your videos!!
Love from India.
Projetos esplendidos. Analise perfeita.
Great presentation of these two finely crafted machines. I appreciate the background on the fuel tank. These are beautiful tanks with correctly proportioned knee dents, but, what else would one expect from the Italian designers! Thank you for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! Have a great weekend my friend, and I hope your build is progressing as planned.
Thank you my dear friend for sharing your perspective. :) About my CX project, to be honest, i think it is going to look much better than i imagined, but the building process is much harder than i thought. I hope to ride it next Month. :) I wish you a good weekend too. Cheers.
Thank you for a great video. Great bikes.
Prefer the blue one..Would like wheels to be spoke ones..Cool exhaust pipes...always a great Video..😎🏍
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
1.618 divine - Fibonacci sequence. Thanks for sharing.
Good job .. so so nice
Thanks racer tv.
Essakhi Mustapha
I hope for another Virago video, but from a Virago with 2 suspensions... Such Café Racers are really rare...
Those Tyre brand had me rolling.... 😂
The blue one wins the red one, and with that brand of tires ...
(Only the Portuguese understand, I'm afraid.)
Thanks for sharing mate.
Lol. I thought that the "Fuck" word was universal already. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Hermosas 😍
WOWW Perfect n Excellent
You are a bit smug but I subscribe and watch for the art of building and the video quality. The bikes are extraordinary. Not a bad trade! 😂😂
great builds, well done. not my cup of tea but yes the proportions work beautifully. thank you Racer TV
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Very nice. Great bike for cafe racer project
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
CONGRATULATIOSN FROM BRASIL, NICE CHANNEL
Thank you.

It is difficult to say which of the two bikes I like the most, maybe the blue one because of the inverted suspension. But in both, everything seems to work visually. Maybe the colors do not appeal to me but that is a matter of personal tastes. Definitely, Thailand is a country that has to look at its designs in café racer, because it is so far, the only country with a motorcycle brand, dedicated to a mass market with cafe racer designs: the Stallion.
Olá amigo Alejandro. Yes, it seems the motorcycle market in Thailand is huge. Curiously, yesterday i heard that Stallion brand is going to sell motorcycles here in Portugal. But it seems that is not official yet. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your usual perspective. :) Saludos.
Fack, i have to obtain my motorcycle licence now :p
Yep we must☺
Not that anyone asked me,
but for my personal taste,
I would prefer the Blue (
While it is absolutely a matter of personal liking to be sure !
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Blue one 💙. Both very nice 👍
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Gracias amigo. :) Saludos.
Excellent 😮👍🏼
Great video as always! The voice cracked me up when it said Mojave though. Idk if this helps but maybe look up a video: məʊˈhɑːvɪ is the pronunciation, like the Mojave Desert in California. Unless perhaps it's pronounced differently in the bike world then I don't know.
Sorry about that. To be honest, being a name from an italian fuel tank, i thought that it would be spoken as we(Portugueses) usually read. Thank you my friend for your comment. :) Cheers.
I like the neoclassical caff styling, but I'm sure they wouldn't handle great with those tyres. Cool tho! 👍👍
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
inkitatus1 actually the tires look like they would be quite stable, much better than thin tires that seem to catch every crack in the road. Ride safe.
Pick of the lot ! Sir great work again ...but plz listen to me ...do some video work on small bikes ...thank you
Thank you for your sugestion. I am working about a general video with small Cafe Racers. :) Cheers.
Good look
Interesting ! I prefer the blue blaster but the carb would be an issue for me ? Great work 👍🏻🏁
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Awesome
the yellow XV is the best looking one
Muy buena moto me gusto mucho
Gracias amigo. :) Saludos.
Can u pls make vid for cb650r cafe racer type? And also
i thought i was watching discovery channel :) great voice bro tnx a lot
I like there creations
For a second with this voice, i thought is was a video for a new iPhone 😂
By the way, really really really beautiful cafe racer 🤘🏻
Lol. I'm glad you liked the project my friend. :) Cheers.
You would think I'd be bored of saying it by now, but no, never. Yet another excellent production my friend. I think the names are a bit shit, but the bikes themselves, well, what can I say? They are so very pretty, i must say their a little unfinished for me, I like mudguards, i don't think a bikes finished with out them, maybe it's because I live in Britain, all that rain. I'm not normally one for red, although my Gix is red, and I've just bought red grafix for my 91 Genesis. I must say I love the stance of the blue one, it looks like it would handle very well, up until the point where it didn't, it's kind of similar to my stunt bike.
Thank you my friend for sharing your honest perspective. That is exactly what i like to know from the Fans of Racer TV. Because it helps me to find what most people really think. :) Cheers.
Beutefoul both
mad for cafe raicer
Wow..
Nice car
Love the red one because of the lines of exhausts and single carb. It gives a great look! On the blue one I don't really like the exhausts and the rear brake disk... Do you know what is the brand of front light optics?
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. I think the housing ring is custom made, but the headlight is probably this one in the link:
www.originalcaferacer.com/product/headlight-headlamp-led-cree-x-1-light-7-cafe-racer-motorbike-bike-e-approved/ Cheers.
Onde tem legenda em Português deste vídeo?
The helmet in 1:15 looks nice. Does somebody know what kind of helmet that is? It fits the retro style so well!

Cool bike
I have build a chopper bike
See in my Chanel
My chopper bike
So when are we gonna talk about the fact that the tires on the blue bike say "Fuckstone" hahaha
Lol. I already talked about that in one of my videos. They are replicas of the "Firestone deluxe champion". tires. :) Cheers.
awsome.......
please watch Arie Perkasa chanel, thankyu :)
I like the overall looks of both projects but cannot avoid thinking that these conversions from dual to mono-shock rear suspensions are very suspicious. All the new loads and stresses that are applied to the frame after the conversion must be thoroughly checked, but I doubt people do that. The frame of the red bike is not designed to receive loads on that specific mounting point of the new rear suspension, and we don't even know the state of the welds... people take great care of welding processes on a factory for a reason. Riding that bike at 100MPH must be like Russian roulete.
I understand what you say, but i think the central structure of these 2 virago models are very similar, if not identical. For this reason, i don't see any problem about the force distributions. But thanks for sharing your perspective. Cheers.
I can understand why you follow this reasoning. The issue here is exactly "seeing"... it's a word you used. If you eventually follow the path of mechanical engineering, once you get a grip on stress analysis, resistance to fatigue, vibrations, finite element analysis and so forth you'll start seeing things that otherwise would go unnoticed. In the very end it will be a matter of putting a human life on the line... some people will do that by just trying to "see" force distributions and play the Russian roulette (and don't get me wrong, they still might luck out and nothing bad will happen) and some people won't be satisfied with such a loose approach. It will be a personal matter in the end, but surely it will be more than just personal taste.
Zer01 I agree. If being an engineering student has taught me anything its that my intuition was wrong about 90% of the time. I think a real analysis of this suspension would have some surprising results
I actually tried solving all the forces on my own bike build if I were to convert it into a monoshock (low displacement tracker build); shear stress, bending etc. with a rough estimate of the kind of metals manufactures use and with rough estimates of the forces (nobody jumps these kinds of motorcycles) and as it turns out, they are very little, the worst you can do is if you have a hardtail motorcycle and you do really high jumps on it which would result in bending and not even cracking.
tl:dr very rarely will a modified rear suspension setup fail because they are almost always over engineered to take large loads when in fact they almost take nothing at all. oh and I also consulted our professor for our mechanics of deformable bodies class, he said these kinda welds and shapes are fine.
you don't have to worry about these coming apart basically but I'm not sure if they are designed correctly so that they move akin to that of a stock one.
Hey man that's awesome. As I said, one could to it "by feel" and still luck out. It is much different when you actually run the numbers. Where I live you can only make such modifications legal if you run the numbers and sign the project as a mechanical engineer. That's what I'm trying to do now.
Hello !!! your work is amazing i learn lots of stuff !! BUT I HAVE A QUESTION I rarely see 2 sits cafe racer even if its not the goal i love the shape of CR i want to custom a virago 535 for 2 is it possible ? do you have known exemple ??? thank youu
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Yes, it is perfectly possible. I am building my own cafe racer(Honda CX 650), and it will have a proper cafe racer seat with a rear cowl. Cheak out this link: ua-cam.com/video/A1rE5FgIUk0/v-deo.html Cheers.
Hi. A question. Are these motorcycles designed to ride in rainy conditions? Because as I see them, I think they are only for driving on sunny days. Can you please get me out of doubt? Thank you.
The Benelli Mojave tank is the iconic look for the Virago cafe racer created by Greg Hageman. However, at 10 litre capacity it is way too small for any practical motorcycle and is not a direct fit by any stretch of the imagination, at least not the myriad of copies out there.
It does make for a nice looking bike though and these two are a great example.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
You should take a peek to a builder called JTEC MOTO, it has very interisting proyects.
Thank you my friend for your sugestion. You are right. Most of their projects are very interesting, but not exactly what i am looking for. :) Cheers.
Top down triangular composition basically.
it’s about as much a racer as the 1947 Harley that these tires were on originally.
when you say the fuel tank and seat are correctly proportioned to eachother, what's the rule there?
Vermelho chama mais atenção
Blue is nyc
Stephen Hawking is really getting into these bike videos.
I really like cafe racer but i cant afford ugh 😅
que tipo de llantas ocupan?
THAILAND 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭👍👍👍👍
K-Speed thailand
Both bikes look good indeed, but some of the details seem out of place. Having a mono shock suspension on a retro styled cafe racer seems odd. And I also find that the tires are a little too fat. Would look nicer with a set of larger wire wheels and smaller tires.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Shark Boy Shannon, can't wait to see your project bike....oh..you don't have one...so....you only talk about others job, yes like many others smart ass
Carlos Google Maps Hey, hey. I’m merely voicing out my opinions and suggestions with no intentions of bashing both builders, don’t perceive it as such.
These things look so ugly stock but so beautiful after customizing I want one so bad!
Hola RACER TV, CUALES SON LOS REQUISITOS PARA QUE MI MOTOCICLETA APAREZCA RN TU CANAL??
The number 1 rule is, I have to love it. After that, it all depends on the originality of the project, the difficulty of the project, the model of the project's donor motorcycle, etc. :) Saludos.
Like some cafes, just not these 2. Fuckstone tires for sukstone bikes imo.
K-speed Custom Thailand
Infelizmente no Brasil e impossível montar uma moto desses ..
What are the perfect proportion for a bike? Is there a formula?
1.618... (the golden ratio)
How do you use that number please?
Stavros Katsipodas m.ua-cam.com/video/sJHD1RZ1x54/v-deo.html, hope this will help you😊.
Actually, this is one of Racer's favorite topics. Go into the Racer TV archives. There are many videos where he demonstrates how various designs use the golden ratio, either consciously or unconsciously; and in a few videos, the golden ratio is his main topic, and he explains in depth what he means. Must-see viewing for anyone planning his own project !!!
Try to search on youtube for "cafe Racer Formula", and you will find 2 of my videos about this. Cheers.
thank god they named it red roarer instead of red rocket
may I ask what is the type of the headlight?
The front grill seems to be custom made. But the headlight is probably a LED headlight. Try to search on google for "motorcycle LED headlight". Cheers.
blue
Could someone please tell me where to find those headlights?
I think the housing ring is custom made, but the headlight is probably this one in the link:
www.originalcaferacer.com/product/headlight-headlamp-led-cree-x-1-light-7-cafe-racer-motorbike-bike-e-approved/ Cheers.
Thank you! Love your channel by the way. Keep up the great work!
what headlight is used on red?
Sorry, but i have no idea. Cheers.
What is the Brand of the front light on the red ???
I think the housing ring is custom made, but the headlight is probably this one in the link:
www.originalcaferacer.com/product/headlight-headlamp-led-cree-x-1-light-7-cafe-racer-motorbike-bike-e-approved/ Cheers.
RACER TV thanks !!
Would that be Mojave as in Mohave... Mo... Have... Y...?
I didn't know this when i made this video, but the correct pronunciation is Mojave. :)
Red...
Hlo bro where r u from?
I am From Portugal.

Look. I am not a pro builder, just an enthusiast. Began a project on a Honda cbx 750 ‘88. How can I send you pics?
Hi. Try to send me 1 or 2 photos in a private message on Racer TV 's
Facebook Page. :) Cheers.
Can I have the song name please? I am shooting a bike video I would to mix this
It is based on this original version: "Beat the Pressure - Energetic Atmosferic Music". Cheers.
RACER TV thank you very. By the way I really enjoy your content and those bikes you have an eye of hawk for cafe bikes and the way you brief. I have benelli 302 which in later stage wanted to convert into cafe bike. Big fan of your channel. Cheers
Thank you my friend for all your kind words. I appreciate your support. :) Cheers.
How many price this bike
