No one is the King. Not Jimmy Hendrix, Not Eric Claption, Not the BB Himself... Stevie Rau Vaughan IS THE KING!!!!
I'm 17 and love this type of music
One of the most amazing songs ever created and PERFORMED! STEVIE RAY BABY!!!
My best SRV song ever!!!!
It’s 2024 and for the 3rd consecutive presidential election, I will be voting for “Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Guitar” to represent these United States
Amen
"go ahead....throw your vote away"
- martians on the simpsons
That guitar has more life in it than the other two candidates combined.
From your mouth to God's ears.
Could you imagine being the bass player and getting to watch that every night!!! Lawd have mercy! My fave SRV song
That bass player previously played with Johnny Winter! He played with the best of the bests and was the heartbeat.
Watching interviews it always rips my heart out when Tommy talks about Stevie's death and how he really just didn't know what to do for a long time after that. Really was his whole world.
Stevie is at the top of his game here. His voice, his playing, his intensity, it's something to behold.
He was also beating around the bush with drugs, alcohol and excesses ... Like any great genius ...
@@alanveneziale1966 Didn't affect him at this concert. Man, he was on fire.
Stevie Ray Vaughan lives on through his FANS..and God knows..Stevie is loved..what a music legend....And singer..the BEST..
My father died the same day Stevie did, and I always felt a connection with this song. RIP
RIP both of them🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Probably my SRV favorite song. This guy was unbelievable, sending love for him!!!
Same
Mine too! Not many guitar players have scaled Mt Olympus! Beyond Stevie, only Jimi and Eric come to mind!!
Es esquisto tanto talento y profesionalismo hasta su bajista se sorprende de ver como talla la guitarra ,definitivamente el mejor tema de steve estoy de acuerdo .
I second your vote for best SRV song!
@@Vierrakp jimi page is up there
This song is so god damn tasty. Long live Stevie Ray Vaughan, the best blues guitarist of all time.
With SRV every note counted. He gave his all to every note he played. He never held back!
Stevie said play every day like it's your last
When you watch this video you see the absolute ultimate guitar player.
I caught SRV in Louisville Gardens 1986. Words can't express how good he was. A moment in time
We are not worthy!! 🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
only one of the best songs ever. Solo makes the hair on my arms stand up lol
I melt to this song
🧡
Salute!
R.I.P Stevie miss you..I'm singing the Blues..Your a great Artist..
It's wonderful these videos exist. So much fun to watch a great guitarist at work. Better version than the recording.
This man was fantastic. A one of a kind talent taken too soon. God rest him.
RIP Srv you where the man🎸
I still get chills.
Little did he know he was to be a legend.
Stevie was a precious gift.
My favorite Stevie Ray song 💕🤟😍
I was blessed to see stevie 10 times. The best guitarist in the world.nobody can match him. I still listen to him everyday.love you stevie...fernando S.A.TX
And those of you who were also blessed enough to see Stevie Ray Vaughan ,live.Bless you too fernando
I saw SRV with my brother several times...A true GOAT SRV...Texas Royalty...😎
I agree SRV was phenomenal/love him! But, I hung out with Hendrix in '69...no one better...ever. Hendrix was beyond genius/gifted...otherworldly.
Sounds so good!
Master who left us all inspired. Love SRV
This is just a brilliant live performance.. As Always with Stevie... Man never missed a note... Like ever..
Stevie was just pure music!!
Underrated voice
And he didn't like it, underestimate hiself
i dont even like singing and i like his singing
agreed
How could anyone give this a thumbs down?? I don't get it. This guy was brilliant and so talented.
Debbie Garner They have no clue when it comes to Greatness.
Probably all the people who think they can change it instead
They weren’t introduced to SRV at a young age like all of us SRV fans were.
How? Braindead that's how!😖
PEOPLE WHO GIVE THIS A THUMBS DOWN PLAY 7 GUAGE STRINGS!!!
I was blessed two times and I knew I was in the presence of a genius
Unmatched in guitar play , The highest level of skill seen in many generations . Gods rest my brother .
Dont forget gary moore very close
Its absolutely insane how SRV could make a simple shuffle sound so raw. Hits ya right in the soul. RIP SRV.
I love the outfit he had his own style like everything else a wonderful guitarist, singer, and from all accounts a great human being that overcame his demons An tried to help others! Can’t ask for anything more! Rest In Peace Stevie you deserved all the love🦚🎸🚬 ❤️ oh and yes I love the pants leg in those white boots😍
Stevie wasn’t a very big man from my understanding but my god his hands look enormous.. great job srv thanks for your brilliance ✝️
he sure as hell poured it out on this one
it's become my theme song that unlocks
my emotions.... timeless and eternal
He was like 5'5 or 5'4 yet he looks 6'7 playing.... top 5 guitar players in the history of recorded music
You mean TOP guitar player in the history of music.
As far as I'm concerned he was the best. Politics played a role in that number5. They wouldn't give him his due diligence. Stevie was number 1.
@@TheSarahbeach100 what politics?
He was actually 5’10
The Top Guitar player still to this day. Especially in this day in time. Music died years ago and we are stuck with crap like Florida Georgia line.
Life sucks sometimes!A true gift from God stolen from us!
Yes
💗💗💗
One of the Best that Ever Lived...RIP Stevie Ray Vaughan...
30 years ago today...... Still my all time favorite. Rest in paradise!
he is the best there is, puts everything he's got into his music! love him...
It just poured out of him. He was a special once in a lifetime talent.
❤❤❤❤ the single most performer I wish I had the privilege to see ! DAMN ❤❤
Dam it if we could only
'CHANGE IT " we would and bring ya back my BROTHER !!!
Amazing song
Losing Stevie was very hard i felt like i lost a family member. In my opinion he is still the GOAT. I was at his last concert in Wisconsin where he got on the helicopter that ultimately crashed and took his life. Nobody can land a note like SRV. #GOAT
GREETINGS TO THE GREAT STATE OF ARKANSAS JUST WONDERING WHY DO YOU CALL STEVIE RAY VAUGHN A GOAT?! MY FAMILY AND I ARE CHRISTIAN NOW AND WE DON'T LISTEN TO SECULAR MUSIC AND SHOWS MUCH ANYMORE....I HOPE AND PRAY THAT STEVIE FOUND JESUS BEFORE HE PASSED....SECULAR MUSICIANS ENTERTAINERS IN A SECULAR OCCULTIC DEMONIC INDUSTRY THEY KEEP THEM ON DRUGS MARIJUANA AND ALCOHOL AND ALL THAT STUFF IT'S HORRIBLE AND PROMISCUOUS SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE ALL KINDS OF SNOT LIVING FOR GOD AND THEY WONDER WHY THEY ARE SO MANY OF THEM HAVE DIED OR COMMITTED SUICIDE..........ALL FOR THE SAKE OF FAME AND SOME MONEY IT'S NOT WORTH TO LOSE ONE SOUL JUST TO GAIN THE WORLD... GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS 🙏😇
Ana Parada Anyone who knows the Stevie Ray Vaughan story knows what a caring person he was, who experienced God’s presence thru his love of people and his music, even while he was battling alcohol and coke. All who knew him appreciated him as an authentic person. Sanctimonious pseudo-Christians like yourself who think they’ve a sure ticket to heaven need to refrain. Go tend your own little life. BTW, in this context, GOAT means, “greatest of all time” and has no Satanic connotations. Moron.

Ana Parada Ana Parada, you’re a fool who should learn how to use English better-your tirade is littered with errors. And insulting strangers on UA-cam, using capital letters lamely trying to drive your points home, spewing advice, evangelizing, bad-mouthing a better human than you’ll ever be, using your name is I’ll advised. THE best Blues player ever gone 32 years ago today. I'm so lucky to have seen him in concert ..4 times..
Everybody talks about his amazing guitar playing but nobody talk about his dressing sense.....coolest and smartest guitarist I ever see....😘😘😘😘
and a great blues singer
And he had a great voice, too!
Tommy doesn't look too bad either!
Forevermore
Absolutely loved the way he dressed. Everything he did was just naturally cool . Loved the pants tucked inside his boots. God gave him the whole package.
Off the charts performance this man came fully loaded when he stepped on stage DoublTrouble smoking to e
Such a great singer as well 👏👏👏👏
Tommy Shannon looks very happy here, playing with his best friend.
stevie is the best
It's been a long time since I've heard some of Stevie. Suddenly, I came across this performance and I couldn't help but cry happily.
He sounds SO AWESOME ❤ ya Stevie Ray ✌💙
one of the best..he may be gone but his music lives on rip stevie
This man here moves my spirit I've definitely lived the blues with you brother Rip man .no one cimpares
The sheer power in his voice around the 2:30 mark is just wow
My fav SRV song!!!! Always played it on the jukebox!!!
Likewise!
Simply the best man to ever pick up a Fender Strat!!! Saw him live at a small place and it still is the best show I have seen in the last 46 years! There are and were a lot of great guitar players, but only one SRV! Can you imagine what Stevie and Jimi are up to now!
The best. Done
The only time I ever thought his guitar took a back seat to his vocals. Perfect Texas sound.
An endless sensational music legend that holds his electric guitar in his hand or behind his back or..over his head and his goals on the guitar are nonstopping..Band is terrific..what a singing voice that keeps up with the stringing on the guitar..Entertainment is all that and more..When your the best at Blue's and rock that's phenomenal..r u with me?
Greatest groups always have a solid rhythm section. You need a great bassist and with Double trouble, the guitar and Stevies voice were unique, but that solid bass playing was key. And the drums on this track make this my favorite SRV song.
Exactly why it's my favorite too. You'd be surprised by some black metal being really good, a band named Beherit is amazing
Tommy smedley on bass..bet you didnt know that
Tommy Shannon on bass!
Chris "Whipper" Layton on drums!
Very rare that a musician is better live in concert then on their records and SRV was much better! Miss him dearly!
Wow what a great song this is always been one of my favorites he was taken away from all of us at such a young age it's still breaks my heart rest in peace mr. Stevie Ray Vaughan❤️😊
This was the first song of his I heard and was instantly hooked.
He was amazing!! The usual all the Greats get taken too early!!SRV RIP .SADLY MISSED STILL OH! WHAT A MUSICIAN ,ONE OF A KIND! XX
What a musician .. What a MAN!! Stevie Ray!! Hands down the best blues guitarist to ever take the stage!! This song is one of my all time favorites! Rock the heavens SRV!!!
Oh man..he is on another level..beyond the top of the line..a master musician,artist,performer..and great soul
My Favorite Strat Player. And that's saying alot.
Damn Stevie, we miss you!!!!
SENSATIONAL ! What a performance..Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble are giving u the best music possible..Stevie's strat is humming away..RIP Stevie
S.R.V. miss you man greatest
Blues man. And he was sober& clean. Just the helicopter went down.
This is so great! A master in action...my favorite guitar player and performer..above and beyond all others
Stevie Ray Vaughan was born for a stage cause he dwells specifically on his music and song and entertainment is Stevie's 'priviledge...Band is fantastic..Stevie is a legend of blue's and rock..A true Strat guitar player..
I wish I would have had the chance to see srv live. Everything I hear and see from him amazes me
there isn't anything or anyone more Texas than Stevie Ray Vaughan. IMO
His guitar and he were one entity..couldn't tell where he started and guitar ended..mind blowing
God loves great music!
What a talent.Such soul with those blues.
What a musician and the guitar of Stevie Ray Vaughan can talk as good as Stevie could..what a great band..Stevie Ie a Sensational act all on his own ..RIP Stevie Ray Vaughan
Merry Christmas Stevie Ray Vaugan and band
He poured his heart and soul into his music. He was always pouring sweat, drenched after he started playing!
Love this song
My favorite guitarist
Great live performance..miss him
I like his live stuff more than his studio stuff. Simply awesome....
I have no words to describe how Stevie Ray moves me...
I guess he does that to a lot of people.
How I would have loved to see him perform live...
Yes, he moves me in the same way....very deeply..he is so raw & passionate!
That solo! He was so flawless!
El gladiador, el máximo exponente capaz de volcar emociones y sentimientos y transmitirlo de manera real, él es el puente hacia lo exquisito. SRV por siempre
Can’t believe he’s gone
My first rock concert was at Starlight theater in Kansas City ,Mo I paid 14.50 to see Huey Lewis and the News.
Had no idea SRV was the opener ....1982 i believe . In mid song Stevie throws a hard right with his guitar at the same time from his left comes another guitar. He catches it and continues playing..never missing a note ! I have been hooked on SRV since that day. One of the greatest guitar blues player ever . I feel privileged to have been able to see and hear him play .
Chris Carpenter of Kansas City ,Mo
Mr. Surfer That is the greatest and coolest thing I have ever heard in my life
He Sweated for His and Our Music !!!!! Thank You S R V !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the best..my favorite. For 30 plus years...gone way to soon...thank you SRV..
He was so cool, so talented, unmatched guitarist, humble human being and made an eternal impact on this world. Forever loved, always remembered. RIP our Oak Cliff treasure.
One of the greatest blue's and rock n roll guitar stringers that's ever set foot on a stage before the world..Stevie is a legend and a terrific vocalist of all time..great dancer and guitar stringer behind his back and over his head..that's called Phenominal..u with me?
I was so fortunate to have seen SRV live 9 times in a 5-6 year period from 1895 to 1990 ,including first row center at least twice. Man,I still miss his live performances. Blues, second to none!!!
He was truly a guitar legend in the making long live stevie ray Vaughn rip my love he was so awesome and amazing🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
I was 15 the first time I saw and heard Stevie Ray Vaughan. It was this song, live. Sung with such passion, and his playing was so powerful. Blew me away. So much rawness, and the descending scales were something I definitely loved. Four guys making so much electricity. What a great blues song.
Enorme !
