That room was lovely! Pine is one of my favorite smells, if I had a bathtub I would love to get some of those salts. The food looked very yummy as well. Also, I was full on singing the sunflower song when you showed us the Sunflower Ferries

I had one in my garden that was a seed in the bird feeders. It’s managed to growth between gaps in the path. Every time I went into the kitchen I heard it. Then after it died we left it out for the birds to eat again. I’ll be glad when it’s gone I kept telling myself. It did go, but if I look in that space where it was…that damn song immediately pops into my head 😂
Great trip. Ah yes Sunflower Song is stuck in my head. This trip is full of curry, from grilled one into regular one. Early departure is suitable for someone who need to doing daily activity after disembark, meanwhile late departure is suitable for someone who have plenty time.

The fact that (it seems) most Japanese hotels give you things like toiletries, even slippers and sleepwear, is a small touch that makes a big difference. I've been on a few cruises with a few different Western cruise lines, and at most you get a robe and a little bottle of shampoo, and that's it. So if you forget something, you're kind of boned. A lot of them don't even sell that stuff on board.
Arriving at around 5.00am - it takes the enjoyment off the trip - the same in the UK, where there is a night sleeper train from Penzance to London - it leaves at 21:45, and arrives at 05:15 - I would only use it if I had to work - otherwise, it feels like a bad night's sleep and too early to be in London 🤥
