I’ve watched two of your Elvis reactions and I had to subscribe. When I was a five year old little girl, that magic hit me on my black-and-white television. Now 65 years later, the magic continued. I was blessed to have been able to see him in concert live as a teenager. There is no real explanation as to why people both men and women love him so much. For his love somebody for 70 years and still feel the magic every single time is really unexplainable. Now, in the golden years of my life, when I look back seeing him in concert and going to his home in Memphis, Tennessee, to pay homage to my hero, was the greatest moments of my life. My son grew up being an Elvis fan and my six year old granddaughter wants to go to Elvis‘s house to put a teddy bear on his grave. I guess the full circle of life would then be complete. If I may make a suggestion, look up, bossa nova baby, but pick the remix. There’s an original one, but the remix is better because it’s longer and it shows more of his dancing. Also look up jail house rock from the movie jailhouse rock. I’ll be sending you more suggestions. Hopefully you’ll play them. God bless you thank you for sharing Elvis with the new generation. As I watched your reaction funny, I think some of that magic might’ve rubbed off on you. Funny, when Elvis hate you you’re never again the same. It’s a lifetime, love affair stay safe and thanks again.
Girl you really get it.❤ you described my very feelings and love for Elvis the first time I saw him at age 14, in 1968. He was my pretend boyfriend. At 80 I still get goosebumps when I see his videos and lesson to his beautiful vocals. I want to follow you to the legacy Elvis left us. From his early performances on Black and white TV to his concerts and movies. He was more than unique, he is an icon one of a kind. For starters check out Just Pretend, Trying to get to you from the 1968 come back special. Crawfish is my favorite movie video.
It's very true. I get emotional when I see how woman react to him, and the fact that he sings as good as he looks is just mesmerizing. The fact that he was cool and not a d-bag makes it real easy to adore him for who he was. No other male singer is even close to him. Just imagine what it was like being him -- it's just too much.
Yeah I wish I could have seen Elvis Presley in concert I wasn't born until 1966 but you better believe my mom and dad made sure that when we were growing up we knew who he
Oh you've caught the Elvis fever ,i've been going down that rabbit hole ,for almost 7 yrs ,on his birthday ,jan 8 1935 ,and it looks like i am never coming out ,looking at this gorgeous looking man just takes your breath away ,then the voice ,your heart ,and soul
Even TODAY you can't find ANYONE close to this man, he put everything into each show he did, the man dressed to IMPRESS people and he did it with everything he did, the way he sang ,his looks etc. I saw him for the last time in Birmingham,Alabama 12/29/76,18000 fans were their, when he came out the whole place lit up with FLASH BULBS, I have not to this day seen anything like that and I have seen a lot of other"stars" and STILL nothing even close to this man, KING ELVIS.
You are in for a long ride.He recorded over 750 songs and sold 1.5 billion in record sales and is in 5 Hall Of fames. He sings anything effodesly and is in the Guiness book of World Records. He has more history than a history book.Guys wanted to be like Him and Girls wanted to be with Him my Parents took Me when I was in 4th grade in 1974 and that night was amazing and I've been His biggest Fan since then.Just make sure if You can to do all the videos of His live performance.Dont take Your eyes off Him and listen to what He's singing because sometimes He changes the lyrics and sings it funny to see if any one picks up on it.Also watch all His movements because the band plays to His movements They follow His lead it's so impressive.A great place to start is the whole 68 comeback special or anything from that. The 1st song You listened to was from that but wears black leather suit for the whole concert and closes it out with If I can Dream the video You watched. Then any live performance from His 1970 Live in Las Vegas opening.Theres like 35 songs from that and the same with the 68 comeback special. Also His whole concert from Hawaii live 1973 or any song from that. His recordings are great but it's better to see Him Live if You can so You can check out all those things I told You to look for and also His unique dance moves. Also live from the late 50s when He started but just try and watch it live ,,He's one of a kind and had it all and also was very funny in most of His live videos. Also in 1958 He put His career on hold to join the Army.He served 2 yrs and then came out of Army and made movies for 8 yrs.So He had not performed live in 10 yrs and the 68 comeback special was His 1st time singing live in 10 yrs and He knocked it out of the park. That lead to Him having a residency at the Hilton in Las Vegas from 1969 till 1976 and then started touring beginning of 1977 and then died that August and was going the day He died to Bangor Maine for a concert. He never made it.Great reactions. If You want 100 thousand prescribes quick then Do as much Elvis live as You can.I watched so many ppl channels grow just from Elvis Have a great day Luke Kelly☘
Yes the most gorgeous man, the only one GOD gave us for 42 wonderful years and I'm from Mississippi too like Elvis GOD BLESS EVERYONE🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵🎤🎤🎤💙💙💙
Elvis was a unique blend of talent, looks and charisma. There will never be another like him. I highly recommend reacting to his live performane of "Suspicious Minds" in Las Vegas
Thanks for your reaction. Elvis was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, in a 2 room shack of a house his dad built with money he borrowed from his boss. That's how dirt poor they were. He was one half of identical twins; the other boy - Jesse Garon - was stillborn. They were so poor, that Jesse Garon was buried in a shoebox in an unmarked grave. At Graceland they have a plaque with his name on it in his memory. Elvis always got along with the black community and learned a lot about music from his friends of color. Also, according to the one drop rule, Elvis would not be considered white, since he has Cherokee ancestors on both the Smith (his mother) and the Presley (his father) sides of the family. His paternal grandfather, Jesse Dunning Presley, was not happy that his two sons, Elvis' father Vernon and his brother Vester, married two sisters, Gladys and Clettes who were known to have Cherokee blood in their family tree. J.D. Presley was quite the racist a-hole, often drunk and a philandering husband to Minnie Mae (they were actually separated long before they finally divorced in 1954) who was always competing with his sons Vester and Vernon and who was known to abuse his kids when drunk. J.D. was was publicly against race mixing and was in denial about the Cherokee blood in his own family tree. It was more publicly known that the Smith family had Native blood in their family tree, so when both his sons fell for 2 Smith sisters and Vernon, on top of that, was still a minor at 17 when he eloped with Gladys who was 4 years older than him, Jesse was totally pissed off. As a child, Elvis already had many friends in the black community at the time his family was one of 4 "white" families that lived in the predominantly black neighborhood The Hill, just across from Shake Rag. His childhood friend Sam Bell said that some of the (black) kids in that neighborhood had lighter skin than Elvis (ua-cam.com/video/LrFCyNMvZWk/v-deo.html). One of Elvis' bodyguards once said that he thought it was a miracle Elvis got into Humes High School in Memphis, because it was "lily white". Elvis wanted to be more open about his Native ancestry, but his manager "colonel" Tom Parker (real name Andreas van Kuijk) was against it because he was afraid it might cost Elvis fans (and himself money). They did have Elvis play characters in his movies though where he had Native American blood (Flaming Star, G.I. Blues, Stay Away Joe). Once Elvis had his own (apprentice) job learning to be an electrician, he saved up his money and bought his clothes in the same style that many of his friends of color wore. He was called a (forgive me, just stating facts here) "n-lover" and got beaten up several times too. Later, when he was an established star, he would not perform at places where the members of color of his back-up band/orchestra weren't allowed.
Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite is a concert starring Elvis Presley that took place at the Honolulu International Center and was broadcast live via satellite to audiences all over the world on January 14, 1973. It was seen by an estimated 1.3 billion people at the time of its showing and the show’s soundtrack reached number one on Billboard’s Hot 100. Welcome to Elvis' World.
You've just scratched the surface with Elvis and you really need to check out his Gospel Songs. One of my favorites by him is Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art. GOD BLESS EVERYONE🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵🎤🎤🎤💙💙💙
The subtle beauty and then the power and strength in Elvis' voice compliments the band perfectly. Or is it the other way around?! At full strength, this whole band was over 40 strong with the main rhythm section, two gospel background groups and a full orchestra. Elvis built this band because he loved a big sound. ALL of his live performances will prove this band was always on point.
I saw him live when I was 16. Our dad bought tickets for my sister's birthday. Being the oldest and having my divers license, I was her way to his concert. He was amazing!
Elvis left a huge body of work. Check out Trying to get to you from 1968 comeback special. Every song was beautiful. You will love his out fit!! America Trilogy was from the Aloha from Hawaii special, also spectacular. Elvis at his best. From his movies my favorite is Crawfish from King Creole. Girl, keep reacting to Elvis. His fans from 1958 are still in love.
Reason, this song is titled “American Trilogy” is because it combines three distinct songs that each represent different periods in American history. The trilogy includes: 1. “Dixie” - A popular song from the American South during the Civil War era. 2. “All My Trials” - A gospel song that became associated with the civil rights movement in the 1960s. 3. “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” - A patriotic song from the Civil War era. Elvis Presley’s rendition of these three songs merged them into one medley, celebrating and intertwining different parts of American history and culture, hence the name “American Trilogy.”
This is from the (Aloha from Hawaii Concert Jan. 14th, 1973, Live in Honolulu). This epic performance was done 51 years ago, and it's the first concert done by Satellite that reached an audience of a Billion people worldwide. The rest as they say is history. Elvis is the greatest Icon in Rock & Roll history.
Great reaction. Thank you for reacting to Elvis. If you would like to react to more Elvis, It would be my pleasure to send you links. I have done this for other reactors. You will fall more deeply in love with him when you start learning more about who he was as a person. He was kind, generous and as one friend of Elvis said "as pure as the driven snow". I have links that will help you get to know him better. Let me know and I'll get those links to you....Music and short documentaries. 😊
I just love that you are falling in love with Elvis. It happens to most women who see or hear him. So happy I subbed. I think you would love "Just Pretend", "Bridge Over Troubled Water" from 1970 LasVegas or any of the rehearsal videos from that movie, "That's the Way it is ". Also, "Love Me Tender" from the 68 Special, or anything from the black leather segments of that show. Thank you for this wonderful reaction. ❤❤❤
This is so great and powerful. If you want to see more, then I suggest Suspicious Minds, with the live version from Las Vegas being one of the best. You really get to see Elvis putting in a strong performance, plus get to see a playful side to him.
Such a fantastic performance, it was beamed around the world via satellite add more than a billion people on this planet saw it in 1973. And this is a pattern with him but this is a great example where he puts the spotlight on other members of his band and backing vocalists. He's got hundreds of songs in his catalog before he died and at least 30 number one hits, but we are lucky that there is a fair amount of footage of him from very young up until 7 weeks before he died available on UA-cam. So much good stuff. Since you're fangirling, laugh, definitely check him out when he's like 21 and freshly an international superstar at such a young age, and it's on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1956 and he's doing the song Hound Dog.
I love how your reactions are so heart felt and take me back to when we all heard Elvis sing for the first time and we all felt exactly what you are feeling right now and that is such a beautiful thing to see after all these years. I do love your reactions.
You are just adorable! I love it when someone falls in love with Elvis. I’ve been in love with him all my 66 years! Listen and react to Just Pretend, live in Las Vegas, 1970. So darn sexy! Girl, you’ll be screaming at the monitor, “Okay! I’m pretending! I’m pretending!!!” Oh, and welcome to the Elvis Presley rabbit hole … you’re gonna love it here! Great reaction, sweetie! Much love ❤️
SUBBED❤ THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
His "1973 Aloha from Hawaii" special was broadcast around the WORLD and in 1973 was watched by 1.3 BILLION Billion. The most watched Superbowl has a mere 120 million. That tells you something about Elvis, almost HALF the world watched him
I love elvis, his voice the soft tone in his voice 🥵🥵he's handsome, he's got a great voice I honestly have known elvis since I was 3 years old I am 17 now xx❤
Ok, you got me hooked with this reaction ❤ watching you fall in love with Elvis is so heartwarming! I am beyond obsessed with Elvis and look forward to your MANY videos to come 😊
Watched this reaction several times and I love it every time. He always draws me in with the emotion. Check how long he holds the (All) my trails will soon be over.
This Performance is amazing! ELVIS had Charisma and such a beautiful voice it's incredible! ! He put all his emotions in every song! I'm a hardcore ELVIS fan, because he is the greatest! Thank you!
Something you need to understand about Elvis and that period. The US and much of the world was in a very tumultuous time. Americans were starting to really question their identity. This show to this day is one of the largest shared televised events in world history. He sang about Dixiland which is the American south, he sang about The truth of Jesus and God marching on. Elvis did at least one full gospel albums and was seeking truth in life. He was a broken and flawed man but a man of singular passion and charisma. There is a little girl listening to this in a car with her dad on a reel, and she gets emotional during the song, for Elvis even to touch a child with this song speaks to its truth and power. And ill tell you, as a Canadian who grew up in the aftermath of Elvis death, the influence of him was so powerful. Most of the people growing up loved Elvis. I think part of that reason is because we can feel despite the fame and fortune, hes one of us. . He was a good man who had his struggles but all were welcomed to enjoy what he created.
Jane H. Not David H commenting ….. If you haven’t seen Elvis singing ‘Don’t’ in a rehearsal session & then on the same video, singing it in a Resync with the Philharmonic Orchestra, in 1970, you should call it up on YT. Elvis is happy & relaxed & looking totally gorgeous, & Don’t is my most favourite song of his, written expressly for him …. He had a Number One hit with Don’t for several weeks in 1958, as a 23 year old, & already famous. I discovered Elvis as a 15 year old girl in New Zealand, & that was way back in 1967 …. & I have been a big fan of his since then. His voice is just Amazing. He gave so much joy to billions of people worldwide, & he is still doing so. He was so charismatic & watching his concert videos, you will see the way he interacts with his audience.
Just love this because you react to Elvis the same way I do. Breathless. Saw him in concert twice and he was a beautiful angel man. He loved his fans so much. You need the black leather sit down show " Trying to Get To You" from the 68 special, it will put you away. He loved God and said I am not the king, God is. Thanks I subbed
I get goosebumps every time I hear Elvis sing this song. So much feeling and power in his voice. You should react to 'You gave me a mountain', beautiful song. You know your hooked on Elvis when the way he stands makes you melt 😊. There is a live performance of Stuck on you when he was younger .OMG he even makes Clicking his fingers look good 😊
Thanks for your lovely reaction. You will definitely LOVE his 68 Comback special. You could try his melody { Heartbreak hotel/Hound dog/ all Shook up. He wears a black leather suit.

Interesting information about his grandpa, I didn´t know that guy had such a different attitude than Vernon or Elvis!

Elvis always the best

BRAVO PRETTY LADY!
I was young but I remember it was a pretty big deal for tv.
ELVIS the best the best the greatest bye bye baby dall'Italia 🇮🇹💋
Elvis..Love me Tender.
.Las Vegas
Great reaction. Thank you for reacting to Elvis. If you would like to react to more Elvis, It would be my pleasure to send you links. I have done this for other reactors. You will fall more deeply in love with him when you start learning more about who he was as a person. He was kind, generous and as one friend of Elvis said "as pure as the driven snow". I have links that will help you get to know him better. Let me know and I'll get those links to you....Music and short documentaries. 😊
Hard to imagine that he'd be gone in just 4 years from this show
You'll fall in love even more if you react to 68 Comeback Special... Trying to Get To You and 1970 Live in Vegas...Just Pretend ❤❤
The most beautiful man to ever walk the face of this earth. He is so, so, so missed. Rest well King ❤🕊❤🕊❤🕊❤
You need to react to his live Las Vegas Suspicious Minds. It will blow your mind. GOD BLESS EVERYONE🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️
Elvis the heart of America
This is so great and powerful.
If you want to see more, then I suggest Suspicious Minds, with the live version from Las Vegas being one of the best. You really get to see Elvis putting in a strong performance, plus get to see a playful side to him.
the man was just so gorgeous.. the cheek bones the blue eyes the outfit the voice.. he's the King
If you really want your mind blown watch his performance of *Suspicious Minds* live in Las Vegas 1970.
The king
I love how your reactions are so heart felt and take me back to when we all heard Elvis sing for the first time and we all felt exactly what you are feeling right now and that is such a beautiful thing to see after all these years. I do love your reactions.

One of the few reactions I have seen where it is greater than Elvis's performance - so enjoyable 😊😊
I love love love this song
His "1973 Aloha from Hawaii" special was broadcast around the WORLD and in 1973 was watched by 1.3 BILLION Billion. The most watched Superbowl has a mere 120 million. That tells you something about Elvis, almost HALF the world watched him
I love elvis, his voice the soft tone in his voice 🥵🥵he's handsome, he's got a great voice I honestly have known elvis since I was 3 years old I am 17 now xx❤
It's hilarious watching a young woman fall for Elvis! My mom was a fan snd she was 93 when she passed a couple years ago. timeless

HE AIN'T CALLED THE KING FOR NOTHING!
It is from 3 different songs: song of the south, song of the north, and African american song -mother to child
This Performance is amazing! ELVIS had Charisma and such a beautiful voice it's incredible! ! He put all his emotions in every song! I'm a hardcore ELVIS fan, because he is the greatest! Thank you!
Elvis is still the King.
Elvis one of a kind. U doing a great job keep playing doing your thing. From Antonio
Long live The King 😢
Elvis was the best you can give this guy a dishwasher manual and ask him to sing it and he would turn it into a number one song and get a gold for it
Just love this because you react to Elvis the same way I do. Breathless. Saw him in concert twice and he was a beautiful angel man. He loved his fans so much. You need the black leather sit down show " Trying to Get To You" from the 68 special, it will put you away. He loved God and said I am not the king, God is. Thanks I subbed
ESPETACULAR ❤ elvis é eterno
I get goosebumps every time I hear Elvis sing this song. So much feeling and power in his voice. You should react to 'You gave me a mountain', beautiful song. You know your hooked on Elvis when the way he stands makes you melt 😊. There is a live performance of Stuck on you when he was younger .OMG he even makes Clicking his fingers look good 😊
