46 years after his death and his voice still gives me chills.
I still get goosebumps when I hear him sing this song. I grew up with his singing. I’m 74 years old and never get tired of listening to The King. ❤

Elvis had the ability to make people cry. He also was that type of artist where you didn't carry on partying during his act, the listener / audience was afixed to his performance.
And to think this wonderful humble man feared he would be totally forgotten after death...Here we are almost 50 YEARS after the fact. AINT. HAPPENING! Your kids will introduce him to their kids, their kids will introduce him to their kids and on and on and on and on....................

What does song Elvis is singing? How do you know it’s a medley of three songs in the first two or about the Civil War for glory glory hallelujah. It’s called the battle hymn of the Republic and it’s also a church hymn and the third one is where he’s telling his son that he’s going off to war and he is not coming back, and then it goes back into the battle hymn of the Republic. Elvis was a very powerful singer. But one thing Elvis was he love Jesus he had Jesus as his savior, and he love God he was raised that way, and he is the king of rock ‘n’ roll, but he sang a lot of country too. Lol.

I was 18 and driving. Stopped at a stop light and heard it on the radio. I will NEVER forget that day. Im in my 60s now. But no matter, whathis beautiful man. He gave so much to everybody. Truly God's musician. Rest In Heavenly Peace Elvis. We miss you so, so much! But we gave your memories for always!
Yeah I was ten I remember my Mom crying when the news broke she saw Elvis in Toronto Canada in 1957 as 16 year old teenager. My Grandparents saw him in the 70s in Vegas my Grandma never stopped talking about that show till the day she died in 1980.
I was sixteen. My dad called to let ne know. My bf thought one of my parents died!
I was a little boy when this concert took place in Hawaii. His music is still very moving for me. God bless, glad you shared this with the newer generation.

Such a remarkable emotional reaction from 4 people who really had no prior knowledge of this song. It is just a testament to Elvis' talent and ability to touch someones soul. Im 53, have heard this song a million times and it still has that same effect on me everytime I hear it.
He was, and always will be, The King. He grew up dirt poor in Tupelo, Mississippi with many poor black friends. He eventually ascended to be the biggest star the world will ever know. We lost him way too soon.

Thank you and to those adorable girls that showed genuine emotion to Elvis and this song. Most young people could care less and watching all of you react emotionally really touched me and I am a 62 year old white male. I remember Elvis Well and the day he died. I bought his albums and records as a child and one record i bought I remember it well. On one side was a gospal song called "Only Believe" and on the other was another gospel song called "Life", recorded on June 6th 1970. It wasn't one of his top songs and many may not have ever heard of it, but I played it over and over and i found it on youtube and hope you and the girls will listen to it and listen closely to the words as this song has a very important message that everyone needs to know but many could care less. Someday I hope that you all would react to ELVIS PRESLEY - LIFE
