- Just wanted to share a few things that I really like about extended mouse pads and bigger mouse pads in general. I have really added a lot to my gaming setup this year and I am really enjoying it! I hope my videos are able to help you decide what peripherals and accessories you should get, and which ones you should pass on.

I just bought an extended mouse pad like this from Micro Center (Maingear Assist) ... brought it home, but I didn't realize it would be that big! But now that I have it set up, I love it -- there's no going back.
I used to have significant pain in my carpel bones due to the hard desk but using a wrist rest for my keyboard proved cumbersome. An extended, reasonably plush mouse pad solved that issue on top of every other benefit.
Was about to recommend a bigger mouse pad because the scratches it caused on ur previous desk

Quick tip for your video quality: shoot at 24 or 30 fps so you can avoid the flicker of lights from your mouse and key board.

This is why most csgo players use large mousepads and low sensitivity. For anyone that doesn't know, using csgo as a reference for sens, your actual sensitivity is called eDPI, it's your mouses DPI (usually around 800) multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. Most pro players sit around 900 - 1000. So if you find your sensitivity in that game you can go replicate it for other games.
currently have a 31.5"" X 11.8"" but am getting a 48" X 24" soon, the new one will fill my entire desk to the inch
It also improves the sound of your speakers by reducing direct reflections :)
BTW, you should angle those up a bit.

Extended mousepads are cool mostly with ten key less(tkl) keyboards. Full size keyboards take up kore of ur mouse space

Reasons why I’m not getting an extended pad
- I do eat and play sometimes or even watch
- as an FPS gamer. You have to think about wrist and elbow aiming , im an elbow aimer so extended mouse pad is too low for me if I put my arm on the desk

If you're looking for a thick and soft pad that is very comfortable for elbows / wrists, you may wanna have a look at Fusionstrike original limestone desk mat. Been using it for 3 years personally and my friends, so far it's been great so we made a whole batch of them. Currently ship within UK but could sort out international shipment too. The rubber is made from sustainable limestone rock (instead of oil/petrol) which makes it more environmentally friendly than most desk mats out there. It's laminated with super stretch smooth nylon so it's mouse compatible and very gentle to skin.

This is amazing for the home gamers. But for the more competitive gamers this isnt ideal because of how small the spaces are in arenas or tournaments. But the extended versions of mousepads are the best.

Tbh it looks clean and all but i prefer just having a XL mousepad. Since i just use that space anyways for my mouse. And for me it looks clean aswell aslong as u get a black mousepad. And i play on low sen aswell. But i can understand how it must feel for you going from that small mouse pad to the XXL. But you would be able to do have as much space for your mouse on a XL pad.

Another reason why u need a mouse pad of this size is if u are low Sen's player. I play on 43cm/360 (shroud-41). Your mouse pad should be double the length of ur Sen's ....so this size is good for me.
I use a mouse pad of size 90cm, 40cm, 4cm

Anyone else find that the stitched edges pull their arm hair ALL the time? I have to wear an arm sleeve and have had to resort to taping the edges to avoid this from happening. that's my biggest bug bear when it comes to these large mouse mats. I understand the need to stitch the edges but for the hairy armed amongst us... ouch!!!

It’s from Ikea, but you can get similar ones from other stores. Its called a “Karlby” counter top.

get a desk size mousepad or a xxxl and make sure its a hard mousepad then get a qck mousepad on top of it for best precision and accuracy because you get the hard mousepad precision and the soft mousepads tracking

I have a full size desk mouse pad with a Zowie G-sr-se because there is a big Gap in quality in my opinion
my desk doesnt have rounded edges, and it hurts my wrist, so I bought a 90x40 all black mousepad to protect my wrists, thats why I like extended mousepads
Good vidya, I tried a huge mousepad that was bigger than my desk but honestly I hated it. I couldn't get comfortable using it because of the stitched edges were constantly irritating my wrist scratching it anytime I would move my hand on the mouse. Not sure if they're all like or if it's just the way this one was.

ChunkyFingers GD sorry! That’s how it comes through on camera. It doesn’t do that when I have it on a solid color, but when colors are dimmed or transitioning they are actually flashing on and off and thats what causes it to look that way on the video.
