Regarding packing cubes, you really don't need to buy them. I save all my clear plastic cubes that sheets, pillow cases and other linens and stuff come in. They are really good quality plastic and they are clear, which lets you see what's inside. An added bonus is that you don't have to buy them!
It depends if you need them to compress the items. Some you can vacuum out the air when travelling with a parka for example that would otherwise take up half the suitcase
I love when you mention products that are helpful for folks with mobility issues. I think that's so cool. The scrubber you show those is really only helpful for floors, it's hard to hold and wield it overhead like shower walls. I returned mine and bought the non extendable one
I love my version-extendable, but the head can turn 90 degrees, from somewhere on Amazon. It’s made it so much easier and faster than hand scrubbing my busy shower!
I finally broke down and bought a flexible under-appliance wand cleaner to get whatever is hiding under my fridge and oven. I didn't want to see what came out, but I'm glad I didn't have to move heavy appliances.
I absolutely love Puracy laundry stain remover, which I started using after seeing it in one of your videos. It makes laundry so much easier because it just plain works.
I agree with the skrpr scraping tool. I have had a pair since 2011 - I used to keep the mini on my key ring and have used it as a screwdriver in a pinch. Worst cleaning product I've tried is the Swedish dish cloth. Completely pointless, they come nice and flat and dry warped so they dont store well. You can only use them wet so they are not like paper towels at all and they streak. Not sure what the fuss is all about with those. One of the best cleaning products I've used is the Shark handheld cordless vacuum.
Same here, and I am a prior cleaning business owner. 😂 When we moved into a new house, I ditched all my gnarly toilet brushes and got the clorox toilet cleaner disposible pad system for each toilet in the house. I don't regret it one bit.
Yes. I won't have a nylon toilet brush. My kids would probably chase each other with it. Or use it in a way that would make a mom want to puke. I want to throw that thing away after every use.
I love your microfiber cloths, but I have had them for a very long time and I am not sure if they are still performing well. How do I know when it’s time to replace them?
I recently purchased the spin scrubber after seeing it on another video and like if for our bathroom I also have the trilaundry sorter. Great purchases. Thank you for your videos.
I love my packing cubes! Everyone in my family has their own color so i can put everything in the same suitcase and grab an individual's stuff at a glance. We also bring a laundry bag so i know if it's in the cube it's still clean. It makes travel laundry a lot easier as well as unpacking when we get back home as well.
Best cleaning tool I've bought on Amazon was my Dyson vacuum, but the best cleaning tool I've bought online is that Maker's Clean scrubby cloth that's clothy on one side and scrubby on the other. I only vacuum once or twice a week but I use that scrubby all day every day. Worst Amazon buy was an under-sink organizer caddy that turned out to be half the size shown in the photo. It would have been fine if I lived in a dwarf's house, but I don't.
I have that rainbow colour duster😊 I will switch it for a microfibre one. I also use disposable toilet brushes (I renew them yearly). I would love to use your microfibre cleaning products however duties and added VAT mean they end up nearly double the price for UK citizens ! Looks like I will be sticki g with supermarket or Amazon ones. Loved the video! ❤
The bad are the gray bristle toilet brushes they scratch the toilet finish. I like the shark detect pro vac. It doesn’t wrap hair so you have to cut it out. I also like the o cedar pet broom set. It works well on human hair too. I just have a cheap toilet brush it works fine. I sometimes fill up the holding dish with bleach water to disinfect it and the dish. And letting it dry outside the dish goes a long way.
Interesting! Love this! I do like the PVA sponge for kitchen walls/baseboards. Microfiber doesn’t give me that oomph sometimes. I do need to see how your microfiber items work!
I bought the unger toilet bowl brushes you previously recommended and i love them. My church has silicone brushes and i hate them. They don't work well to clean the toilet, especially under the rim.
I ❤️ enzyme cleaner and a little steam cleaner I found at a yard sale. I loathe my Bissel cleaning machine for how small an area it can work on at a time.
Worst Amazon cleaning product I’ve purchased? Little plastic balls that go into the laundry & are supposed to capture pet hair. Nope! Didn’t work! Best? I bought the Costco equivalent of the laundry tri-sorter probably 20 years ago, & it’s still going strong!
I tried to do away with swiffers, then I had the broken glass situation. Uhg! That's what disposable cloths are for! So, I got swiffers again, but if it's not an emergency, I used microfiber cloths instead of the disposable ones. I had a rubbermaid mop, then I lost a gasket or something, and it wasn't replaceable at that point ☹️ I replaced that mop with a similar mop, but next time this happens, I'm just gonna use a spray bottle, or maybe I'll do a bucket full of microfiber cloths and go with the Swiffer duster to do that. I am quite tired of the mop situation, lol! Got a couple spin mops, and they get tangled ☹️ So, I guess I've entered the microfiber era of things😂 Edit: I must add I use my swiffer also to clean mirrors and windows. Obviously, you don't have to use swiffer. Got mine before I got to this channel. Just saying, the style is useful 👍👍👍
The scraper, introduced to me by YOU (thanks much) and the extendable spin scrubber...used it until it fell apart. Many more head options since I bought mine...perhaps I'll use a link! 😉👍
I love these suggestions and am proud to say I have a couple of them that you recommended in other videos! I especially liked hearing about the things to steer away from. 😱 One of the best tools I found on Amazon is the Chom Chom pet hair remover. This thing is amazing on furniture, but it also gets to those areas of rugs and carpet that you can't get the vacuum into (e.g., corner of the stairs). I have a Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog--I know pet hair! I didn't know about the microfiber dusters though. Alas, Maker's Clean doesn't have one, but I am buying one. Swiffers just don't compare to microfiber in my opinion.
I love my Maker's Clean products. While I love all of them almost equally, my absolute favourite is the "scrub square". I can't live without this! On another note, will Maker's Clean come out with a microfiber duster like in the video? I know you have the dusting mitt and I have one, but personally, I would love a duster like in this video.
I don't normally run to comment on any video but I have to say I love packing cubes as a mom specially because for smaller trips I pack my kids clothes as outfits and bothe my kids gets their own cube each. That way it's so easy to get them dressed by me or my husband ! No more my husband asking me what shirt goes with what pants 😂
I will definitely try your cloths when they go on sale or maybe there's a coupon code. I have a lot of eclothes and i like them a lot. I've had them for appx 4 years and some are wearing out a little. Mainly because i don't treat them right😅
I tried the extendable spinning cleaner, but it dropped bristles all over the tub. I wasn't pressing it down or using it wrong. The brand was recommended by other youtubers. I returned it, and I'm hesitant to buy another. My shower walls seem to be doing fine just with a post-shower squeegeeing.
That's my question. I love the Clorox toilet wands, and while yes less environmental than a brush, I'm not sure microfiber is something to celebrate given the eco implications. Help please :)
My adult son bought me a trisorter with a hanging rack over it a couple of years. At first I didn’t know how I would use this or find room for it in my closet (which is big), but dang if it didn’t turn out to be on of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten. It's amazing how thoughtful gifts can surprise us! Sounds like your son really knows how to pick gifts that make life easier. Thanks for watching! Melissa
I use my trisorter with hanging rack in the laundry room with extra hangers along the hanging rod. Dirty items go from the sorting bags into the wash. Clean items that need hanging come out of the dryer and onto the hanging rack.
Please be cautious with the spin brush. I had one explode while being charged. Ran in and found pieces of it clear across the room, and my counter top was on fire. Thank God we were not in the room.
@@LuckyCharms_4 Nice hint. I find it difficult to reach way inside to the back of the oven, even with the door removed, because of physical limitations.
