@@archiemoreno, I’ve been thinking of building my own rail cart and I was wondering if you’re aware of any abandoned rail up in the Idaho Panhandle where I live? I’ve looked online, but haven’t found anything definitive. 🤷🏻♂️
I love this. I doubt whether the authorities here in Australia would allow this on our abandoned rail lines. I think you guys need to take shovels with you and clear the tracks for future trips. Stay safe!
So what they gonna do if you try? I am dutch and i am building a cart during this winter. Unfortunately there aren't many places that are "abandoned" but i am gonna use the recreational and hobby tracks before and after they open. Might cross a frew roads, but that usually only means i have to slow down and cross them walking.
That looks great! It must be a nice experience, riding through these vast lands and landscapes. It remembers me of the feeling for adventures that I always crave for when I go out, riding bicycles and motorbikes.. enjoy!
That was freaking awesome !!!😁😁😁 Railcart speeding along the track💤💤💤 ....nice open desert scenery💤💤💤.....WWWOOOUAAAUU !!!!🗯🗯🗯🗯🗯 ....camera flips over .....HAHAHHHAHA !!!! 😆😆😆😆 This are the best videos about railways in my life. Nice video .🙋♂️
The first five seconds from this video, I thought the rail cart was going to fly off the bridge after crossing the section of tracks that were buried in sand. But the one at 0:16 the cart was not so lucky.
A friend of mine and I took a joy ride on one of those..abandoned track in back of a restaurant complex lead someone to build a cart so they could go eat and drink without driving.. Well, while the owners were eating/drinking, we managed to get it started and took runs up and down the track. No derailments.
I thought you’d be in traction down at the old ICU for the last shot. I’m glad you weren’t. I bet being that low makes you feel like you’re doing 60 mph. What fun-crashing into a creosote bush. I love the Mojave and I love trains-so going off the rails into a creosote bush means good times are at hand. to me anyway. And apparently you too.
You need back up wheel system and you can pedal it with a body of frame on fabric similar to velomobiles or bullet trains, you can also power it with sails, solar stirling engines or vawt wind turbines directly to the shaft without electricity
You guys should front blades you can fold up and down front of the cart so it will cut the weeds down plus a tarp roof and some shuffles, home made survival kit
One of the main reasons I decided to watch your kart video was the Dog thinking it would be enjoying the ride along not long into your video the dogs running trying to catch up not so enjoyable 👎 leave the pup on board next time💪🇺🇸🙏
That looks like a blast. Any abandoned rails where I live, Michigan, is quickly overgrown with vegetation, bushes, shrubs, trees.
is that the climate is very dry here and it never rains
Looks kool
@@archiemoreno When you do another Rail kart video Use a Go kart motor Belt driven

Same here in Brazil; due to the humid climate, of course!

This just shows how much our human psyche needs and craves the outdoors. You watch this via internet but wish you were there in person
You guys are nuts but looks amaizing
Hey archie. Iwas thinking maybe we could connect a simple "plow" device ahead of each wheel to help clear the rail of sand
@@archiemoreno So far...😳
Was fun though! 👍👍
Your Rail cart hauls ass. Looks like a awesome time. Glad you're enjoying life on the rails. Cool ass video 👍🏼

That’s some nice scenery. How many times did you come off the tracks?
lol many times. is that the roads are not in good condition or are covered with sand.
I like so much enjoy and fun rail boy 😊
That looks like great fun. Sadly any abandoned lines in the uk were quickly taken up. What speed does that thing do? Looks like it gets a move on!!
Sir please 4k Quality video I really like your videos ❤️❤️
How fast do you think you go?
I would contact the railroad to complain and demand that they clear the sand and make the road crossings passable. Haha!
Hahahhahaha👍👍🤣🤣🤣
Hey I am in the middle of building one of these in SoCal, how can i get in touch for some advice on tracks to visit?
Seems like there's a few areas which need the sand digging back a little as well as some of the weeds removing/cutting back!
It looks fun.😁
do you know what your topspeed was?
This guy is flying!
So was this filmed in Colorado or Arizona?
Hey what are you running for wheels. Id like to build one
Looks fun.
And crashy.
Just commented on your IG. Soon as the net is back up from this hurricane Ill check out more of your content.
I hope all is well and passes soon 🙏
I thought he was going to derail at the first crossing and fall off the bridge. omg that was scary
You need some retractable outboard offroad wheels for the crossing, and maybe some brakes 🤣
How often do you derail?
Where did you get or how did you make the wheels for your cart?
I had the same question...
Why is he blowing the horn
You should install a safety ram on Zorrito here, it might add weight but it could really save you in a bad de-rail
The man is living a dream
This looks like a blast! What is it powered with?
look like a gasoline generator engine 1:55 or an old motorbike's engine

is it possble to get a pivoting snow plow thing to shove sand away
Dangerous ride.
El zorrito todoterreno indestructible

Y’all need to slow up a bit. How can you enjoy the ride going that fast. Would help staying on the tracks too.
Nem todo dia é dia santo. 😊
what old railroad is this ? thanks and did the american flag denote the border?
Hey that looks like fun. I'm a failfan. Is this area open or do you need to be in a club?
After analyzing. I'd always slow down for crossings & sand built up. Oh and bridges.
You guys have big cojones !! Please be careful . Great video , like I was riding with you !!
You guys should front blades you can fold up and down front of the cart so it will cut the weeds down plus a tarp roof and some shuffles, home made survival kit
Are you just obsessed with crashing?

How did you make your wheels? Thanks.
it takes a bit of work to make the wheels are keblay and steel
Ever heard of slowing down .........😅
That first one could've been very bad
With few people and hoes that railway can be maintained and be totally operational for small vehicles
The top speed is 45 mph.
@@archiemoreno очень круто,
I want to get i to this. I need to know how to build a proper rail cart.
Wonderful 🙏🏼👏🏼👍🏼🙌🏼 🚊 🚆 🚂

I honestly believe they are deliberately trying to get derailed
I live in Bakersfield I'm thinking about building one where I can go out for a couple days kind of like a teardrop

fucking brilliant
