Such an expansive hotel yet such cheap dewhurst fixtures..... then the old panelling in basically modern lifts. They sure know how to keep up with appearrances... Richard! This such a lovely hotel. Oh sure Hyacint... this hotel is so “Mrs. Bouque” like in every way. Trick people into thinking you’re posh but still beeing very ordinary instead. It has a nice dining room for “candlelight suppers”.

The lift at the travelodge in Kingston (the building you explored which is shared with premier inn) safety breaks if you pull apart the doors of the right hand lift on the ground floor😀
